House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said Thursday that the House Judiciary Committee will begin drafting articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump. “The president’s actions have seriously violated the constitution,” Pelosi said in a press conference on Capitol Hill. “Our Democracy is at stake. The president leaves us no choice but to act.”

Do not think today is a coincidence, after they were able to get Ukraine to shuffle the corruption inquiry in Ukraine to a Soros NGO. I would be checking on the health of RBG too, as they will look to claim a president under impeachment has no authority to nominate a SCOTUS replacement. And, they are looking to minimize the IG report that is due for release on Monday. Also, the DOJ reports that are due soon thereafter. Truly hope the Senate will ensure there are similar partisan rules, and limit the Democrats in the same manner they did in the House. And, that they are all up-to-speed on the facts, not the news reports and talking points.

If this happens, the office of the Chief Executive will have been seriously wounded. The president will in the future be subservient to the most rabid members of the House (as is happening now). We will have transformed our government from the 3 branch model envisioned by the Founders to something like an unstable parliamentary one governed by whoever controls the House.

More stalling, dragging out this red herring as long as possible? Drafting articles doesn’t mean they will be voted on and passed, but it will give all the “news” folks something to talk about other than the IG and AG reports that are rumored to be released soon. Under normal circumstances this would be another big nothing-burger. But given the never-Trumpers and RINO’s in the senate, you can’t really count on anything anymore.

Ah yes, the Democrats have all agreed that they are unanimous in their opposition to a Republican being in the WH. This is not really news, Ms. Pelosi, as you won't be surprised to learn that all Republicans oppose your being Speaker, or any Democrat being in the Congress. However, the Constitution provides for elections to resolve this issue. Perhaps you will take time to read the Constitution, which I am told is only 10 pages long. This is what is called legitimate government, as opposed to government by the seat of your pants, Nancy. Please choose legitimacy, Nancy, if you can see through your hate and ignorance.

Always look for what your enemy is most scared of and act accordingly. Pelosi is deathly scared of an ultra liberal candidate leading the Party over the cliff in 2020. Warren and Sanders are her worst nightmares. And Bloomberg and Deval are her answer. The other shoe is to keep Warren and Sanders locked up in a lengthy protracted Senate trial while Bloomie matches Trump's money and wipes up. Give him Deval as the House Negro and you have the ticket. Look for the third step when Chuckie falls across the tracks and starts arguing endlessly about the trial rules. What McConnell and graham should do id ram through their own partisan rules. have a lightening trial. Acquit. Let the Senate crazies loose back on the campaign trail. That is where and why I will miss Horizontal Harris.

I’m with #4 and #15 on the impeachment inquisition. If this sham impeachment effort by the leftist and liberal Democrats goes through, and any Republican is elected President in the future, you can be sure that the Democrats will cite their impeachment of President Trump as a precedent and come up with sham impeachment articles to impeach those future Republican Presidents. You would have to be a moron not to recognize that the Democrats intend to use impeachment proceedings to undo elections anytime a Republican is elected President. In that respect the Democrat plan is to use the votes of 218 or more Democrat Congressional Representatives to remove a Republican President who over 63 million American voters and Electoral College elected to the Presidency. The only uncertain issue in all this is will the wimpy Republicans wake up, or will they keep playing by essentially Marquess of Queensbury rules as the Democrats go on to destroy them politically, and severely limit without Democrat approval all constitutional presidential discretion that Trump and future Republican Presidents will have anytime the Democrats control the House of Representatives in the future. That is completely clear by the fact that such a sham impeachment effort has never occurred before in the entire history of the United States.

She said this in an interview today with Howard Stern, which makes it slightly less weird since chatter about lesbians is like 40 percent of the content on that show. Or at least it was when I was a regular listener a million years ago. (In fairness to Stern, she’s the one who brings it up.) He went easy on her by not asking the obvious follow-up: What were you doing at Epstein’s ranch, then? She should consider this a missed opportunity, as a surprise admission of bisexuality would have helped add a little more “diversity” to an upcoming Democratic debate.
