Fox News commentator Chris Wallace criticized Democrats on Wednesday for refusing to question the lone witness brought by Republicans during the day’s impeachment hearings.
Republicans called on Jonathan Turley, a professor at George Washington University Law School, to be their witness opposite three professors summoned by Democrats. Turley has previously testified in the 1998 impeachment hearings against Bill Clinton, giving background on the impeachment process.
During the 45 minute hearing on Wednesday morning, “only once did [the Democratic counsel] ask Jonathan Turley any questions,” Wallace told Fox News.

''Well, of course we didn't ask that Turley guy any questions, he's sane and speaks the truth. That is NOT the Democrat way.''

Pulling this comment someone posted another thread, but it fits Deep State politics to a TEE.
Any aspiring criminal would be a fool not to go into politics. It’s where the money is.

This is such an obvious kangaroo court. You'd have to be dumb as a post not to acknowledge that.

In a nut shell, Wallace is walking back (slowly, snail like) his previous comments on believing strongly that President Trump committed impeachable offenses. However this walk back will be met with a 4am talking points message from $oro$ that Wallace better get back on board today and resume his position as metronome for all things impeachment.

Sounds like Wallace may have lost some advertisers recently regarding poor pol ratings and viewer criticism.
Especially when your audience is 80% on the Right and he antagonizes conservative guests trying to get attention.

Perhaps Chris was only disappointed that none of the demonrats on the committee eviscerated Turley the way that the Republicans did the 3 frauds.

Turley was not against the impeachment inquiry. He was against the speed of the inquiry, noting that there may be impeachable offenses, but there had to be more investigations.
The dimocrats, in the persons of their 'experts,' were offering closing arguments. Cart before the horse, and all that...

Wallace is disappointed the Dems didn't give him more ammo for attacking Trump. He was salivating about how "brilliant" the Dem questioning was going to be.

The Dems’ treating Jon Turley like he was a third rail was glaringly obvious and pretty stupid. If their convictions that they were right were so strong, then why not let in a little dissent? They are not as sure of themselves as they’d like us to think.

It seems these 'hearings' were deliberately put out there so people like Wallace, Juan Williams can wash and cleanse themselves without causing damage to the reall agenda.

When President Trump conducted his telephone call with the President of Ukraine, Joseph Biden was not Trump’s political rival in the 2020 election, as Biden at that time had not even announced that he would be running for the Democrat 2020 nomination, along with the fact that it is very uncertain if Biden will ever be the Democrat nominee in 2020. Clearly Trump was talking about corrupt politically activities by elements in Ukraine and the USA that are suspected to have taken place before and during the run up to the 2016 election. A US President requesting the President of a foreign country receiving a large amount of US foreign aid monies, some of which may have been corruptly misdirected, to cooperate with the US Attorney General, involving an ongoing investigation by the US Department of Justice, especially involving a foreign country with a law enforcement cooperation treaty with the USA is not an impeachable offense. There is no US law that gives immunity to a US politician, Democrat or Republican, from being investigated and prosecuted for corrupt activities because that politician may decide to, or actually run for high political office sometime in the future.
