Why Michelle Obama
may jump into the race

Although it's far from a lead-pipe cinch, a plausible case is to be made that the former first lady Michelle Obama may enter the Democratic primary race. There are three reasons for believing this. First and most obvious is the current field of contenders for the Democrat nomination. As has often been said, they resemble occupants in a clown car that tumble out together for their periodic debates. The emotion that they instill in the general public is not one of enthusiasm but fear. The most seemingly stable among the Democrat field is former Vice President Joe Biden. But Slow Joe is

With their current field of contenders, what have they got to lose?

Why is she a disbarred lawyer? Of course, the "turn the other cheek" attitude that was taken with her husband would be used with her. I am so tired of elites and the people who think they should naturally fill a position by using government as a mechanism for climbing the ladder of success. Especially under the disguise of "sharing the wealth."

She won’t run. Having to be in the WH actually working instead of vacationing on the taxpayers dime is not her gig. Besides, Republicans are not impressed with her. They would be replaying every nasty condescending remark she has ever made. It might not play as well as it once did.

Name one thing of value that Mooch has ever actually done? Having a $300,000 sinecure job given to her when her “husband” became a senator, a position which was never filled again after she left, doesn't count. Neither does having the staff of the WH plant a vegetable garden for you. Just imagine all of the school kids who were forced to eat her abysmal lunches while her daughters slurped down gourmet foods at their $40,000 private school, who are now of voting age - somehow I don’t see them voting for her.

She/he believes the press on her being best loved First Lady.. you can bet Clinton will get her machine up and running- So, the threat of her jumping in is more a money raising ploy.. although; they have secured a never ending supply of Soros hush money.

She won't run, mainly because she and Obama hated being there in the first place. They love their current lifestyle, having all the money they'll ever need and the freedom it gives them to do whatever they want. Why would they want to jump back into that nasty stew. If Mooch does that, it will open a whole Pandora's box of Obama's sins while in the WH. People don't realize it, but Mooch Obama was on the grift as much as Obama was. The computer system that was contracted to that Canadian firm? Run by one of her old school chums. So there is serious talk that Mooch got some kickback in the millions for making sure to steer that contract to the Canadian firm. That is just for starters. If Trump was not afraid to call McCain out regarding getting himself shot down via his arrogance, he will not be afraid to go after the Obamas. Another thing Trump could bring up is that she was considered so unlikeable in 2008 that not only did she nearly cost Obama the presidency, but they hid her away in hotel rooms the last 6 weeks of the campaign. She would not survive a campaign where she is in the forefront, not Obama.

Put me in the "I doubt she'll run'' category, not because of the work (which she wouldn't do) but because of the demands made by the office: Living in the White House (which she hated), adhering to the rules of decorum (which is a challenge for her), pretending to love the country (which she doesn't) and fulfilling the endless duties of the office (which she couldn't fob off on someone else). All of this would encroach on her luxurious lifestyle which is currently being financed by other people's money--sort of a personal socialist system solely for citizens of Obamaville. The only conditions under which I can see her being even remotely interested in doing this is the promise a fortune equal to the treasury of an oil-rich Middle Eastern country. If she can see her way to stealing it from the taxpayers or taking a big enough bribe from the right people, she might consider a run.

Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee are calling for the panel to expand its list of witnesses ahead of the Dec. 4 hearing it will hold in the House’s impeachment investigation into President Trump. As one can readily see, Hillary Clinton has been unable to recover from having lost the 2016 presidential election -- a self-inflicted wound that she will never cop to. Or, possibly, an act of divine intervention. She has come up with well over a dozen reasons for her defeat -- every one but the real one, i.e. she is a loser -- not just a sore loser, but a total loser. She is incredibly incompetent, fundamentally dishonest, and criminally corrupt, and these are her good qualities. In addition, she is bereft of a trace of integrity or character, has absolutely no judgment, and is devoid of people skills

Sen. Kamala Harris’ once-promising White House bid is rapidly unraveling — with her outgoing state operations director slamming the treatment of staff in a blistering resignation letter that claims “morale has never been lower,” a new report reveals. Facing dwindling funds and tumbling polling numbers, the 55-year-old in recent weeks has laid-off swathes of staff in the run-up to the Iowa and New Hampshire primaries in a bid to revive her struggling 2020 bid. But a New York Times investigation published Friday alleges the Harris campaign is internally imploding. Former and current campaign staff have broken ranks to claim Harris and her closest advisers lack focus

The 2019 Egg Bowl ended in absolute chaos. When Ole Miss scored with four seconds remaining in regulation, the game looked destined for overtime. That was until Rebels wideout Elijah Moore got a little too frisky when celebrating his touchdown that cut Mississippi State’s lead to 21-20. pic.twitter.com/jmXgBlxDPO — Yahoo Sports College Football (@YahooSportsCFB) November 29, 2019 Yes, that is Moore crawling on the turf and pretending to pee like a dog (in homage to DK Metcalf) — a celebration that drew a 15-yard penalty.

Two of the nation’s last three presidents won the presidency in the Electoral College, even though they lost the popular vote nationwide. In 2000, Al Gore outpolled George W. Bush by more than 540,000 votes but lost in the Electoral College, 271–266. Sixteen years later, Hillary Clinton tallied almost 3 million more votes than Donald Trump but lost decisively in the Electoral College, 306–232. And, as a recent New York Times poll suggested, the 2020 election could very well again deliver the presidency to the loser of the popular vote.

Former Vice President Joe Biden on Saturday launched his “No Malarkey” bus tour in Iowa, part of a bid to regain momentum among the state’s voters ahead of the nation’s first presidential caucuses. The frontrunner’s eight-day bus tour is part of an effort to sharpen his pitch before the Feb. 3 caucuses as polls have shown Biden slipping in the first-in-the-nation state. The tour will cover 18 counties and is a play on one of Biden’s most well-known phrases. Perhaps most notably it was used in his 2012 vice-presidential debate with then GOP VP hopeful Paul Ryan, when he told his rival that his criticism of the Obama administration’s foreign policy

It's always entertaining when famous actors or singers think that we -- normal people -- are curious to know their political views. I mean, we all know that members of Hollywood are generally radically liberal. If they take a political position, it's going to be in favor of abortion, against "climate change," or -- of course -- passionately anti-Trump. Case in point, this op-ed written by actor Robert Redford for NBC News. "We’re up against a crisis I never thought I’d see in my lifetime." Namely: "A dictator-like attack by President Donald Trump on everything this country stands for. As last week’s impeachment hearings made clear, our shared tolerance

Left-wing actress and activist Jane Fonda spent the Friday after Thanksgiving doing what she has done every Friday for the past eight weeks — protesting climate change. But this time, she also took aim at the agriculture and cattle industries. The Hollywood star donned her signature red overcoat to lead her eighth consecutive “Fire Drill Friday” demonstration in Washington, DC, where 38 people were arrested. Fonda wasn’t among those detained but the actress still made a ruckus, joining fellow protestors in front of the Capitol Building to demand the end to fossil fuels.
