With Michael Bloomberg now running for president, the news service that bears his name and has served as his mouthpiece for three decades has said it will not 'investigate' him or any of his Democratic rivals but will continue investigative coverage of President Donald Trump's administration. Bloomberg Editor-in-Chief John Micklethwait announced the new guidelines for presidential campaign coverage in a note to the $22.5billion news organization's 2,700 journalists and analysts on Sunday, shortly after the former New York City mayor announced his candidacy.

Bloomberg's anti 2nd Amendment stance guarantees his campaign is going nowhere. Like always. He will likely fold up his tent by Christmas.

It'll be interesting to see how those that attack white males and hate wealth , including that moron AOC, are going to handle this.

We will keep it under wraps that his daughter has an out of wedlock child (imagine if this were Ivanka), that he told pregnant employees 'to get rid of the baby or your job is gone' ( imagine if this were Trump). Rumor has it that he is gay (assumed by a lot of people who know better than I do, but this being the age of Bull Schiff, any rumor is automatically fact), and that his 'girl friend' is nothing but a window decoration to cover this fact. Makes sense.

This seems like an in kind contribution. How much is this worth? I wonder what the FEC thinks.....

A Bloomberg presidency would be the end of the Constitution.

Not investigating Dems but investigating Trump. How is that different from the rest of the "Mainstream Media"?

The Bloomberg plan is totally fine IF they add the disclaimer that it is opinion/ editorial, NOT facts or news. If they report propaganda as news, the organization should be shut down by the FCC.

He's 77. I guess he fits right in the the other 70-somethings in the Democrat race--Bernie, Joe and Liz. Maybe Hillary will join, too.

A good boy. A very good boy. From Medford, Massachusetts (or as they pronounce it "Meffe." Howie Carr will have a field day. You like your straw? You can't have it. You like that Big Gulp Pepsi? You can't have that either. You like your firearm? Well, too bad. He's taking that too. You'd think that by the age of 77 he'd learn people don't like to be told what to do.

I don't think this really changed any policy on the part of Bloomberg news. They have been covering up for Democrats like Obama, Clinton, and Biden for years. It really just formalizes what everyone that cares already knows. MSM news sources like Bloomberg are not credible narrators of the critical political events that occur in this country. Citizens who rely on these sources to make voting decisions are being deceived and manipulated. This is not the fourth estate that the Founders revered and protected in the First Amendment.

It is not going to make any difference in the end. Zero multiplied by ten is zero. Multiplied by a hundred is still zero.

Bloomberg will continue its tradition of not investigating Bloomberg, or his family and foundation.
It will extend that policy to his rivals in the Democratic primary out of fairness.
Investigative coverage of President Trump's administration will proceed as usual.

Just as CNN and MSNBC are "in kind" contributors to Democrats and their candidate, so will Bloomberg be to Michael Bloomberg, even if it is only by omission. This makes them exactly like CNN and MSNBC in coverage. Only difference is two are TV channels and one is a newspaper conglomerate, but bias is still bias!
What's new about this? It's just a rehash of what Bloomberg has always done.

Bloomberg is a repulsive little man with a lot of money.
He already BOUGHT the House of Representatives in '18. His 100 million bought those seats in formerly Red districts. He has also help flip AG offices, allowing for these new idiotic criminal justice theories to take root. Along with Soros, apparently.
He wanted at third term in NYC when there was a two-term limit. So he just did it. He's another petty tyrant.
