Rep. Dingell: Republicans' 'arms are being
broken' so they won't support impeachment

Original Article

Democratic Michigan Congresswoman Debbie Dingell said that she was "deeply disturbed" by the findings of House Democrats' impeachment inquiry into President Trump as well as by the arm-breaking of Republicans who agree with her sentiment. Appearing on "America's Newsroom" with host Sandra Smith, Dingell said that she had talked to a number of Republicans who share a similar mindset. "They are being very cautious in their words, their arms are being broken, and I am very disturbed by the undue influence I'm seeing put on Republicans, too," she told Smith.

Debby Dingall is full of baloney. Under the present circumstances, at the start of a General Election year, the Republicans in Congress know if they ever vote to impeach the President, or to remove that President from office, based upon the bogus Democrat impeachment inquisition they will be committing political suicide, with whoever of them who must run for re-election next year being toast in the Republican State primaries. Nobody has to break their arm for them to realize those facts.

I doubt Debbie Dingell needed any of the Schiff show for her to render a verdict against President Trump. That's been the problem since day-one! The Democrats had concluded he was guilty of ANYTHING, and would vote to impeach on ANYTHING, regardless of how flimsy the merit of the charges. Same is true of millions of Democrat voters, which certainly calls into question any sort of objectivity they bring to their jobs, and certainly if they sit on a jury trial.

The far-left Vanity Fair got its Trump-hating hands on some exclusive impeachment data, and it is all bad news for Democrats and their fellow coup plotters in the media. The headline reads: “Polling Suggests Democrats’ Impeachment Push Could Alienate Key Voters.” The sub-headline reads: “Data exclusive to Vanity Fair shows impeachment could be a losing issue for Democrats hoping to recruit Independents in 2020. ‘Lots of people who don’t like Trump who are still prepared to vote for him,’ says one political science expert.” And here is the math, and some of it is stunning.

The Democrats’ desperate pursuit of impeachment is driving key voters away – a sign of danger for Democrats going into 2020 – polling reveals. Polls, in recent days, have indicated that the general public is growing weary of House Intelligence Committee chairman Adam Schiff’s (D-CA) endless pursuit of impeachment, with survey after survey showing opposition to impeachment growing and support falling. The results, however, are exacerbated when key voters, such as independents, are isolated. A Siena College Research Institute poll released this week showed that independent voters in New York overwhelmingly oppose impeachment, 59 percent to 37 percent.

Vice President Mike Pence on Saturday made a surprise trip to Iraq, greeting U.S. troops stationed there and meeting with Iraqi Kurdistan President Nechirvan Barzani. Pence was there to reassure Iraqi Kurds that the U.S. continues to support them after President Donald Trump withdrew troops from northern Syria two months ago. It was the vice president’s second trip to the region in less than five weeks: Trump sent him to Ankara, Turkey, last month to help negotiate a ceasefire after President Recep Tayyip Erdogan sent troops to hit Kurdish fighters in northern Syria when the U.S. withdrew.
