San Diego—An attorney for a Navy SEAL convicted of posing with a dead Islamic State militant contended Wednesday that Navy leaders are trying to remove him from the elite force in retaliation for President Donald Trump’s decision last week to restore his rank. Rear Adm. Collin Green made his intentions clear at a staff meeting Monday that he wants to remove Special Warfare Operations Chief Edward Gallagher’s Trident pin, which designates him as a SEAL, attorney Timothy Parlatore said. Green is the Naval Special Warfare commander. “What I’m hearing is that the rear admiral said very disparaging comments about the president

Gallagher said on Fox last week they would still fight him...sad. It sounds personal to me. If they take his pin his fellow patriots should get together & present him their pin as an honor. Disobeying the commander in Chief sounds serious to me.

All of us who were on the military would step very carefully when taking on the Commander in Chief.
Military exists to protect our nation from its enemies. It seems like the enemy is infiltrating.
The admiral should be relieved of his duties before 5 pm tomorrow.

If Rear Admiral Green objects to the orders of his CIC, he should resign immediately. Otherwise he may be guilty of insubordination and possibly, mutiny.

Attorney Timothy Parlatore ' filed an inspector general’s complaint Tuesday accusing Green of insubordination for defying Trump. He said Green should be fired and court-martialed.' Whatever happened to saluting and saying 'Yes, sir' to your commanding officer? If Adm Green feels that strongly, he should resign his commission. It looks to me that the upper echelon of the military brass has been 'weaponized' as well. We need to excise this cancer quickly.

First thought was: Defying the CiC ?
2nd thought: Thanks for showing yourself. You're fired.

Maybe Green is trying to get fired so Schiff Head can drum another faux impeachment hearing.

The Navy apparently has way stupider Admirals these days. I have known a few quite well, and they were very intelligent men. Not so much these days, it would seem.

#7, MacArthur, in my opinion, was gloriously incompetent. I just don't understand why his reputation was good. One day after the japanese attack on pearl harbor, MacArthur had advance notice of the japanese plan to attack his forces, including aircraft, in the Phillip[pines. He did nothing to prevent it, or preserve his assets. He screwed up the Korean War as badly as Custer screwed up Little Big Horn.
His name should be remembered in the same shame as Custer, or Benedict Arnold. Instead, he was invited to address a joint session of Congress. Go figure.
And one more thing - he supervised the attacks on the WWI veterans who marched on D.C. looking for their veterans' bonuses.
I disdain the memory of him. I spit in his direction.

Upper echelons in the military were all fired under Obama and replaced with this type of traitorous scum. He cannot go against an order from his CIC without consequences.

Green is obviously another of Barry's replacements. No wonder the military is screwed up.

#15 is spot on. Many good brass were let go under Obama. Brought up his butt kissers and anti American “leaders”.

What did you expect, after all they tapped the phones & emails of his defense team? They should have been court marshaled for this. This reminds me of the Schiff hearings , everyone thinks they are president.
