Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, a member of the National Security Council who testified against President Trump at Tuesday's impeachment inquiry, said Trump didn't "request" an investigation into a political opponent -- he demanded it. "[M]y impression is that in order to get the White House meeting, President Zelensky would have to deliver these investigations," Vindman said. In his opening statement, Vindman said he listened to the now-famous July 25 phone call between Trump and Ukraine President Zelensky. I listened in on the call in the Situation Room with White House

Mr. Vindman is full of himself. Puts his uniform on for show (not worn at the "office"). Feeling inferior? Shudder to think that DC is salted with these perfumed princes hung up on "feelings" and self importance. As President Reagan said, "There is no limit to the amount of good you can do if you don't care who gets the credit." That certainly disqualifies Alexander.

According to Vindman Trump had a superior position than Zelensky so the ‘favor’ was really a demand. If so no US Pres can ever ask a favor only a demand since they will always be in a superior position. Dem logic never makes any sense.

There's the word I was trying to find to describe this impeachment 'inquiry' (more like inquisition): Impressionist. Except impressionist works weren't claimed to be realistic portrayals. So far, this makes a near-perfect match for Justice Kavanaugh's confirmation hearing -- another grand spctacle of bovine excrement that the mainstream news media treated as if they were truer than life.

Vindman seems to be involved in the "deals" some have been linked to in Ukraine, and possible that Vindman was "the coordinator" of that activity. When he heard the new president was really going to look into Ukraine corruption, and how it may affect those "deals" he likely alerted others who were involved. We know by his own testimony he stepped out of the call and made a call to Kent, and an intelligence person, whom he claims had the clearance, but possibly not the authority, to be "read in". He also claimed not to know who the "whistleblower" was, but that did not stop Rep. Bull Schiff from interrupting the questioning that he believe was going to expose this person even though Schiff also claims not to know.

It has now become a frequent occurrence to wonder if I have taken leave of my senses and am imagining the unutterable nonsense being uttered by apparently normal, functioning news readers and commentators on television and in print.
