Steve Bannon, Trump's former White House chief strategist, says he worked to remove alleged Ukraine whistleblower Eric Ciaramella from the National Security Council in 2017. Bannon, who was fired by Trump in August 2017, said he shared Trump’s daughter Ivanka's views about the whistleblower’s identity not being particularly relevant but added that he had worked to kick Ciaramella off the NSC during Trump’s first year in office. Bannon did not name Ciaramella, a career CIA analyst, but clearly referred to him. “I agree with Ivanka. I don’t think the individual naming of the whistleblower is important, although there was a story in the

Hopefully, those charged with staffing the White House will NOW get rid of the remaining Holdovers. By now, they should have a good list of Republicans who can fill those jobs. I realize Trump, not being from Washington, relied on people who were not exactly working in his best interest when it came to staffing. Now it's time to clean house!

They should have never gotten rid of Bannon. He's a great strategic thinker and he despises democrats for the traitorous scum that they are. If you don't have a visceral hatred of democrats you don't understand them.

You can see why the Democrats always make a clean sweep of everyone working in the White House when a new Democrat President comes into office, they are not about to allow Republicans who may or may not support the new President's policies and political agendas to hang around and possibly be able to undermine the new President, as we are now seeing with certain White House employees who are Obama holdovers and obviously partisan Democrats. The reason that is occurring is that after President Trump was elected he was essentially a one man show and did not have a highly organized and ideological machine behind him, having defeated both Democrat and establishment Republican candidates during the primary and general election. So when Trump came into office he had to leave White House staffing to establishment Republican operatives who had gathered around him and naively had no problem with large numbers of Obama holdovers in White House jobs being left in place, where as we can see they have been undermining and sabotaging Trump all along. That started about the first day that Trump assumed office when the FBI, under James Comey, immediately took out Trump’s national security advisor Micheal Flynn within days.

When President Trump arrived in Washington in 2016 he was too trusting of the people left in service by Obama. He should have listened to Bannon. Now it's a different President Trump and a total purge should be in order now that so many rats are identified.

They had to get rid of Bannon. Do you not remember the articles, one with a magazine cover, and all the self promotion he did calling himself the brains behind everything? He was trying to paint himself as the "mastermind genius" behind the man. That was obnoxious. Also he is a strange man. I am glad he is not in the WH anymore.

A new poll shows that 57% of Americans approve of President Donald Trump's handling of the economy and that, despite the impeachment inquiry, Trump's job approval is holding steady at 43%. Among Republicans, Trump's job approval is at 90%. Gallup conducted the survey Nov. 1-14. The impeachment inquiry officially started on Sept. 24 and the first televised public hearings of the inquiry occurred on Nov. 13. In the survey, Gallup asked, "Do you approve or disapprove of the way Donald Trump is handling his job as president?" Forty-three percent said they approved and 54% said they disapproved.

The GOP is standing firm in the wake of Ambassador Gordon Sondland’s Wednesday testimony, particularly highlighting his admission that he never heard President Trump tell him that aid to Ukraine was contingent on an investigation into the Bidens. Sondland testified on Wednesday that Trump “never told me directly that the aid was conditioned” on the investigations and did not recall Trump “ever talking to me about any security assistance, ever.” He told Democrat counsel Daniel Goldman that no one told him aid was tied to anything, adding, “I was presuming it was.” “No quid pro quo … that’s all I got from President Trump,” Sondland repeated during the testimony.

Rep. Mike Turner (R-OH) indicated during Tuesday evening’s impeachment hearing that former diplomat Kurt Volker essentially “took apart” the Democrats’ “entire case” for impeaching President Trump after confirming that neither Trump nor Ukrainian officials indicated the existence of a looming threat to withhold aid contingent on an investigation into Burisma, the Bidens, or the 2016 elections. Turner took a moment during Tuesday evening’s hearing to blast the hearsay evidence that Democrats have largely relied on – and used – as a basis for their entire impeachment inquiry:
