Regions where voters have more neurotic personality traits were more likely to vote for Donald Trump in the US or Brexit in the UK, researchers found. Using personality data from British and American participants, a team of experts tested regional levels of fear, anxiety and anger, comparing them to the traits historically correlated with political orientation. In the 50 US counties, there was a nine percent increase in Republican votes from 2012 to 2016 and those with the lowest fear and anxiety showed a shift of only 2 percent. Similar findings were uncovered in the 50 UK districts with the highest levels of fear and anxiety

It's so obvious that neurotic people voted for Trump...lefty, whacko Democrats make people neurotic! Obama made them neurotic, and Hillary, and Pelosi, and the list goes on! Schiff on a stick is going to be a big contributing factor to the body neuroses as well! By this analysis, it's going to be a huge landslide in the electoral college and popular vote.

If Trump supporters are the anxious, neurotic, paranoid ones, what kind of bonkers are the Democrats engaging in the Great Impeachment Divination? Congressional aides are holding up Trump letters to the Sun God looking for hidden messages. The Grand Dowser Pelosi is wandering around DC with a diving rod looking for Trump’s hidden well of corruption. And Schiff is in the SCIF preparing to dig through the entrails of sheep in search of high crimes and misdemeanors. Note to Democrats: there is no pony, it’s just a pile of Schiff.

They seem to have changed the headline.....It now reads:
"Regions where voters had higher fear, anxiety and anger -
such as Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Ohio - were MORE
likely to vote for Donald Trump in 2016, study reveals"

Of course voters who think that the shift toward Socialism and One World Governance is good would not be fearful of the future and would not vote to change the leftward lurch. Fear of something dangerous and disastrous that is happening is not neurosis. It is wisdom. In Communist counties, people who are dissenters are labeled mentally ill and are involuntary committed to institutions. This is a first step in that direction by the left. Make conservatives and Trump voters out to be mentally ill in hopes of discouraging support.

Kudos #1 I'm sure a lot of our founders had more than a touch obsession and worry in their DNA. Abe Lincoln was bonkers and Sir Isaac Newton was filled with self-doubt. People who think and worry and obsess tend to understand the benefits of individual freedom.

You keep telling yourself that. Just because we may have justified fears of criminals such as illegal aliens overrunning our country everywhere, or anger at all the political corruption, does not mean that we are neurotic. Perhaps we are more grounded in reality and those who vote Demoncrat and are not angry or fearful are just ignorant and stupid.

What is really neurotic is to be so fearful of the legitimate election of an outsider like Donald Trump that you construct a paranoid nightmare about Russians controlling voter minds and believe hysterical fantasies of Trump's evil churned out by sophomoric morons in the media that are repeatedly found to be false and yet still believed. If the left is so sober and reflective of their beliefs why are they the one's in Antifa attacking peaceful citizens that simply want to debate those beliefs? Maybe there is a good reason to be a little afraid.

Isn't one of the characteristics of the swamp creatures in government and the "education" establishment precisely that they do NOT face the "fear and anxiety" of us smelly Walmart people? They have architected a system of golden pensions, golden health benefits, and high incomes and passed the cost onto us untermenchen.

So people who were worried (fearful and angry) about the United States economy being gutted, the jobs being off-shored, the military being emasculated, US soldiers being killed because of rules of engagement designed to protect US hating jihadists, the importation of tens of thousands of refugees requiring vast amounts of welfare funds and the unrestricted access of illegal immigrants to the US tended to vote for Trump? And the people who are watching the continued non-performance of the Republicans in Congress and the largely successful deep state sabotage of everything that Trump was lawfully elected to accomplished are perhaps still fearful and angry? Well, surprise, surprise, surprise.

This nonsense reminds me of early in Obama's first term when Big Sis Napolitano, then Sec of Homeland Security, stated something to the effect that people on the right were - rightwing extremists” because they were opposed to abortion and immigration. Pure propaganda with zero evidence to back up their claims.

Of course voters are scared. What is more scarier than the rule of law being overthrown, freedoms tossed aside for communistic domination, losing one's sovereignty? Of course anyone with two grains of common sense is going to opt for the Donald Trump approach, and the completion of Brexit. The future is at stake, it is sink or swim time for all rational human beings.
