Former New York City Mayor and 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg allegedly told a female employee to "kill it" when she revealed she was pregnant. The allegation was made in a 1997 lawsuit filed in New York by Sekiko Sakai Garrison, one of Bloomberg's former executives, National Review reported. Bloomberg was reportedly upset that another pregnant woman would be added to his payroll. "Great! Number 16," he said, an apparent reference to the number of pregnancies among his staff at Bloomberg LP.In addition to these two accusations surrounding her pregnancy, the lawsuit also said

Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz is set to testify about his investigation into alleged Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act abuses next month. After what appeared to be multiple delays, the announcement of the Dec. 11 hearing is a clear sign the report on FBI intelligence-gathering activities related to the 2016 presidential election is slated to be released to the public in the coming weeks. "I appreciate all the hard work by Mr. Horowitz and his team regarding the Carter Page FISA warrant application and the counterintelligence investigation of the Trump campaign," Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham said on Monday.

Rep. Devin Nunes and Mark Levin of Fox News had an astute discussion on Sunday about the deceitful pretzel logic in play by Democrats in the left’s ongoing efforts to unseat President Trump via their completely partisan impeachment inquiry. It was on Sunday’s “Life, Liberty & Levin” that Nunes pointed out the Trump administration was only led into Ukraine to investigate Ukrainian knowledge of the “dirt” being allegedly uncovered in a smear campaign against the president by Democrats. Yet those crafty Dems twisted that warranted investigation of their crimes into a bizarre rationale for impeachment. Democrats paid Fusion GPS, a private investigative operation, to unearth political dirt on Trump using

The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday temporarily blocked a ruling requiring an accounting firm, Mazars USA, to hand over President Donald Trump’s tax returns to Congress. Chief Justice John Roberts’s order contains no hint about how the Supreme Court ultimately will resolve the dispute. It follows a filing by the House earlier Monday in which the House agreed to a brief halt for the orderly filing of legal briefs, while opposing any lengthy delay. Those written arguments will allow the justices to decide whether they will jump into the tussle between Congress and the president.

CNN reports that in a private meeting this week, top Democrats conceded that the polls on impeachment were unlikely to shift, and that their basic message is failing to break through for huge swaths of Americans. This is very close to admitting that their ultimate goal, of removing president Trump from office will not be achieved. The reason this would mean game over for the removal effort is that only a significant uptick for impeachment in polling, especially among Republicans who have been rock solid in support of Trump, could lead to GOP votes to convict in the senate.

After unveiling his tip, Maher proceeded to advise his viewers to “never forget the single shining truth about democracy: it means sharing a country with a**holes you can’t stand.” Maher made it perfectly clear that he was talking about conservatives.
