Democrats Concede Their
Impeachment Argument Is Failing

CNN reports that in a private meeting this week, top Democrats conceded that the polls on impeachment were unlikely to shift, and that their basic message is failing to break through for huge swaths of Americans. This is very close to admitting that their ultimate goal, of removing president Trump from office will not be achieved.
The reason this would mean game over for the removal effort is that only a significant uptick for impeachment in polling, especially among Republicans who have been rock solid in support of Trump, could lead to GOP votes to convict in the senate.

OMG! Collusion dropped dead. So did obstruction #1. So did Emoluments and not-above-the law, next abuse of power, then quid-pro-quo bit the dust, then bribery was laughed out of the room, then Obstruction #2 when you can't have obstruction if there is no justice, then abuse of power #2 and now witness intimidation.
If it weren't so pathetic it would be funny. It's just pathetically funny.

I don't think the Democrats ever really thought they could actually remove Trump. Sure, they hoped they might get lucky, but they knew it was a long shot. What they really wanted was to obstruct and delay, and ultimately to control the daily drumbeat in order to pump up their base and also damage other Republicans. Especially in the Senate. It's a long term strategy. It worked to get them control of the House. Now, if they can't win the White House, they want to at least take the Senate so they can do some real damage in Trump's next term.

I fully expect the hate-filled democrats and the equally hate-filled so-called ''media'' to go all-in on Trumps tax returns when this present charade folds. And when that fails, you can bet they already have 4 or 5 more idiotic attack plans in the works. This will all continue up to the November election. It's all they have,

#5 you are correct!! This has been driving me crazy. Everyone out there has been saying Nixon was impeached. He was not! He resigned before the impeachment could happen. Thanks for being another voice in the wilderness.

Just before the news took over TV 24/7, there were unified reports of shark attacks in the oceans. It's bad for those attacked, but the media doesn't care, at least they can unify around blood in the water.

This is about power and money. Certain Dims were on the money train from the Ukraine - US give aways to Ukraine and Ukraine giving back to certain Dims. Commissions are not dead. Biden and Hillary are prime beneficiaries of this scam. The DNC knows they have to stop this or the jig is up. Hence, stop Trump. Why else would they put so much energy in this nonsense so close to the election? Even if he was impeached - he could run again. This is much more insideous than is obvious in MHO.

Marcus could have gone further and said the dims'/msms' Russian collusion and subsequent coverup of their spying operation on the President is now expected to be exposed. And that the prime objective of all of the dims'/msms' trickery and lies over the past 3 and a half years including Muellie's $35 million "investigation" was to conceal the collusion and coverup in hopes that a dim president could be installed thus burying these crimes against the country forever.

Like #6 I am looking forward to the coming tempest in a teakettle over Trump's tax returns. This will give him incentive and ammunition to go after Lois Lerner, who has paid no penalty for weaponizing the IRS at the behest of the Kenyan.
Trump will be sworn in January 2021 with both House and Senate going GOP. The democrats will be left with nothing but a bleeding foot.

If the American voters were fools Hillary would today be President. The Democrats are not stupid. They are crooked and evil. They see that collusion is gone, Obstruction gone. Quid pro quo gone. Bribery gone. Now witness intimidation is the crime du jour. The voters get the picture. So do the 'Rats.

I wonder how many dims in congress are just dying to ring Schiffhead’s neck. Those in red states certainly are.
I think this all boils down to RBG’s impending death and PDT being able to name another conservative to the SCOTUS.

What will they do next? that depends. It reminds me uncomfortably of a type of bully I encountered wa-a-a-ay back inElementary School. They couldn't physically overpower you, so they constantly harassed you, trying to make you react. Then they'd run screaming to the Teacher: "He's picking on me!!"
So long as they can control the Swamp, they will persist; leaking, demeaning, name-calling, mis-characterising... If Trump wins the next election, it won't stop until THEIR heads start rolling for their criminality. Then they'll panic. Then you might see some assassination attempts. So long as they think they can get away with it, they will.

Now that this is failing what are they going to up with next? Why is this harassment and lies allowed to keep going? Why do the American tax payers have to foot the bill for these witch hunts? They knew there was no collusion but kept going anyway. Also, I know President Trump was a billionaire when he became President. What I want to see are the tax returns of congress to see why they leave office as millionaires.

Sadly, they're motivated more by polls than by principle. These frauds never cease to disappoint. If the Republicans don't pick up super majorities in both houses of Congress it will be their own fault, as the Dems are basically falling on their swords with this coup attempt.

The Republican Senate, and the involved wimpy Republican Senators in this election year would be out of their minds, and be absolutely committing political suicide, to vote to remove President Trump from office based upon the partisan Democrat politically inspired bogus impeachment charges that the radical Democrats have been pushing in their impeachment inquisition. By doing that those Republican Senators would also by extension be assisting the Democrats to elect a radical Democrat socialist, masquerading as an old time Democrat, in the 2020 election. If that were to happen those Republican Senators would no way make it past their next primary election, as you can bet that the “Deplorables” would see to that.

The bottom line is that the president is an alley fighter but he is not a criminal. And we need an alley fighter. We voted for an alley fighter. We cheer on the alley fighter. They look like niggling, nasty, persnickety weasels who lie, cheat, steal and fabricate. This is not redounding to their benefit. Thank you, Lord.

Impeachment is failing because it is all a CIA-DoS-FBI fabrication. Vindman’s medals bring Pentagon support to the vast Deep State conspiracy. We are learning that our Communist compatriots love the Ukraine more than US. Pray for the life of Assange and Donaldus Magnus. The intelligence community has six ways till Sunday to get you.

Russian collusion that Mueller proved didn't happen, obstruction of justice when nothing was done to obstruct Mueller and team, quid pro quo everyone at the direct level on both sides says never happened, bribery that doesn't fit anyone's understanding of what bribery is, it should be clear by now to everyone that impeachment is going to happen. Come hell, high water, lack of evidence, or anything else, the democrats are determined to impeach Trump. So there WILL be a vote in the House. And as all understood regular bases for impeachment evaporate before their eyes, the democrats may be reduced to simply impeaching him for policy disagreements, the things elections are intended to decide.
The problem for the democrats is that Americans got a big taste of their socialist and social engineering policies under Obama, declared it all dog food, and now refuse to eat it.

They are just acting out still in the denial and bargaining phase of the grief process and this makes them feel good about themselves and provides positive reinforcement of their deep seeded resentment and hatred of Trump. This will affect them all for the rest of their lives and they will never get over it. It will just drive them all into severe alcoholism and drug addiction and out of control anger.

Its not failing. Any one who is proficient in the English Language and can read, know exactly what is going on. When the Russia Hoax finally starts claiming its conspirators then the revolution will go full steam. The crimes committed are so traitorous that a political trial will be impossible. Only a non-partisan Military Tribunal will put the treason to rest and Obama, Brennan, Clapper, Comey, Yates, Power, Schiff, Pelosi, Biden, and the swamp infestation in our government will be held accountable/ If not then the millions of militia will take charge.

Nancy is in a no-win situation. She knows that if she tries to write charges at this point, they will be laughable and she will lose any impeachment vote. And the longer she lets the inquisition continue, the worse is it's image in the eyes of the public. BUT, there is a chance her inquisitors may stumble on something they can blow up into a scandal, so she cannot stop, cannot retreat, but can only go forward, hoping for a miracle. This is the Democrats' "Thelma and Louise" impeachment!

Pencil Neck and his cabal continue on with their attempt to cover up all their own corruption. Ergo, they're blaming PT for their very own malfeasance, bribery, and corruption in an attempt to get the voters brainwashed into voting for them in 2020. It's their only chance. I'll never vote for that communist party. Never.
