This conniving, little weasel, rectum detective most likely enlisted in the military merely for the ability to claim that he "served" in the military. Too bad. Sodomites like Buttgag bring dishonor to men and women who served in the military with dedication, distinction and without desire for any special recognition. That being said, I do not recognize nor applaud HIS military service let alone his freakish political platform.

Yes, yes. In his own eyes he is a saint here to save us all from ourselves. But you cannot claim moral superiority and see no problem with sucking the brains out of an in-utero child.

Mayor Pete is as Christian as the muffler in my SUV. It annoys me to no end to watch media -- all kinds of media -- refer to him as Christian (just because he "self-identifies" as such), when he espouses some of the most non-Biblical positions ever. He is no only a total phony taking advantage of the naive among the voters, but he is also an insidious phony. May we recall that at one time, Lucifer lived in heaven --- before God booted him out.

I have always believed that Mayors and Governors had better experience for being President because they have run city and state governments. Legislators are for the most part Monday morning quarterbacks that are far better at criticizing what was done, than determining what needs to be done. Pete Buttigieg has a track record running a small city. The bad news is he has not done a very good job of doing it.

Sadly most modern Christian churches are all about singing "kum-ba-yah" now and making no judgement of any kind, God forbid. The more conservative Churches are now the Peace Corps with robes on. "Social justice" is much more important than saving your immortal soul. It is because the watchtower minders went to sleep that the gates were allowed to be opened --- and then the Vandals came in. It may literally be too late. The Mayor of South Bend Over, Indiana fancies himself a "true believer" yet supplies nothing but contradictions to gospel and basic tenets of right & wrong. If he gets any kind of traction, the blame gets laid at the feet of those who could have stood up to his ilk years ago --- but didn't! And this canard that you're gay because "God made you that way" is the same weasel justification for abnormal (but controllable) behavior using free will that all sinners hide behind. Every scoundrel child molester, rapist, average drunk and bank robber or murderer could justify their evil behavior the same way by making the same claim. It's nature over nurture, and man ... using reason ... is responsible for all of his urges and controlling his desires, no matter how driving or weird. This is an an argument that dates back over 1,000 years before Jesus ever walked the earth. Go read Aristotle ... or even the Code of Hammurabi. Man must take responsibility for ALL his actions --- good and bad. I'm heterosexual because I want to be and like it. You, Mayor, are gay because you want to be and you like it. Simple as that.

Sorry, but his willing embrace of not only attacking decent Christian people who never did a thing to him, along with embracing his bad lifestyle choices which mock God erase any kind of so called experience he might have. South Bend is pretty much a crime ridden, bankrupted community under his leadership. So spare us the attempts to inflate this guy's supposed experience. Has the writer forgotten how he willingly lied to put relatives into danger from death threats? Mayor Pete is the most loathsome and creepy candidate of the field this year. To win that title over Bernie is really saying something. Not for the good either. He is obsessed with Pence and Pence's faith, and that is just creepy to me. Almost stalker level creepy.

Mayor Pete has no idea what Christianity is all about. He thinks our salvation is based on what we do, and there are many that believe the same thing. The Bible clearly teaches our salvation is based on not what we do but on what Christ has DONE. He has paid it all at the cross. The sin question was taken up and settled at the cross. The question now is are you trusting Him? "I preached that they should repent and turn to God and demonstrate their repentance by their deeds." Those are the words of the Apostle Paul, Acts chapter 26:20. Those deeds would include separating from homosexual practice.

Pete claims his interpretation of Christianity is the true way and other Christians who disagree are in error and not true Christians. He is espousing a fundamentalist view, just as fundamentalist Christians and Muslims say their strict way is the only true way. Pete is a Fundamentalist Liberal with a Christian paint job.
