Michael Bloomberg more disliked than any
Democratic candidate: poll

Michael Bloomberg would face a tough start to his presidential bid — as a new poll Sunday has found him with little support and nearly a quarter of Democratic primary voters who dislike him. Despite grabbing wall-to-wall press coverage over the past week since hints of his possible run surfaced, Bloomberg came out as the favorite candidate for just 4-percent of Democratic primary voters, according to the Morning Consult poll. It puts the former New York mayor in sixth place, just behind Sen. Kamala Harris and Mayor Pete Buttigieg and clearly trailing Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Sen. Bernie Sanders, with 18- and 20-percent support respectively.

Comments:

And yet the leftist press would have us believe that he is leading President Trump by 6 points??!!

All of this was triggered by the interview that Leon Cooperman did on CNBC last week. Cooperman is a billionaire investor and a legend to the Wall Street investment community. They are all panicking that Warren will get the nomination which he said would be a disaster especially the wealth tax. Cooperman actually likes what Trump is doing but he doesn't think he is "presidential" enough in his temperament. He said if Trump isn't willing to change his style and be less divisive he won't vote for him. Then he pitched Bloomberg as the "nice" Trump. Clearly Cooperman doesn't understand what makes Trump so popular with his base and thinks a polite leftist billionaire like Bloomberg would have a chance of beating him. His candidacy will fade from the news pretty quickly once polls like start coming in.

He was a "useful idiot" for the Demon-Rats when he left the Republican Party. And they just loved him and paraded him out all over the place as their current "face of disgruntled Republicans" for his 15 minutes of fame. But that was long ago, and he is about to discover what the underside of the bus looks like if he actually goes up against the "chosen ones" of the Demon-Rat Party!!!!! They don't like or trust him. He is a turncoat, and will easily do the same thing to them that he did to the Republicans!!!!

Didn't Bloomberg run as a Republican to be elected Mayor of NYC 2001 to 2007 and then as an Independant 2008 to 2012?

The Rats dislike him because they know he's really not one of them. He's a baldfaced opportunist who adopts whatever political label he thinks will benefit him at any given moment. That might get you elected mayor somewhere, but on the national level, that dog won't hunt.

On Tuesday, former Secretary of State and 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton told BBC Radio 5 Live she was under “enormous pressure” to consider a 2020 White House run. When asked about her future in politics, Clinton said, “I feel a sense of responsibility partly because you know my name was on the ballot, I got more votes, but ended up losing to the current incumbent in the White House who I think is really undermining our democracy in very fundamental ways. And I want to retire him.” When asked if she is absolutely ruling out a 2020 run, Clinton said, “I, as I say never, never, never say never.

In the last century, scores of millions of defenseless civilians were slaughtered by totalitarian regimes that first disarmed them. Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union, Communist China, the Ottoman Turks, and several dozen other despotic regimes committed mass murder of millions upon millions. Historically, genocide follows confiscation of arms as surely as day follows night. In order to foster the deterrence of tyranny in American government, the Founders ratified the Second Amendment, acknowledging the unalienable right of the people to bear arms. After first setting the House rules to allow himself alone to say which witnesses can appear before his committee hearings, now going public, he's now vetoing one by one pretty much every witness being called by the GOP to present some kind of defense of President Trump. Here's his list of eight who are being blocked by Schiff, via CNN's report on Mark Levin: In a letter to Schiff earlier Saturday, Republicans had listed the anonymous whistleblower, Hunter Biden, former US special envoy for Ukraine Kurt Volker, high-ranking State Department official David Hale and Tim Morrison,

The 2020 Democrat presidential field is about to get locked by filing deadlines and that is making a lot of Democrats nervous. If you want to run for president, it is a 50 state process that requires filing papers and whatever else is required to get on the ballot. Alabama’s filing deadline passed last week. New Hampshire and Arkansas expire this week. The heavy hitters of Illinois, California, and Texas are just weeks away. Ohio and North Carolina arrive before Christmas. In other words, unless someone gets off the pot, the current 2020 crop of tired, old extremists is locked in forever. Which means one of them will face Trump in 2020,

House Intelligence Committee chair Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) has yet to release the transcript of the closed-door testimony of former National Security Council senior director for European and Russian affairs Tim Morrison — just two days before public hearings begin. Morrison’s testimony is considered the most favorable to President Donald Trump, after he reportedly told the committee in late October: “I was not concerned that anything illegal was discussed.” Morrison also reportedly said that Ukraine was not aware of any hold on U.S. aid until Politico reported it on August 28, 2019. Though Republicans also say many other statements by witnesses have been exculpatory, they have said Morrison’s was particularly so.

The codes, most of them passed since June, are meant to keep builders from running natural gas lines to new homes and apartments, with an eye toward creating fewer legacy gas hookups as the nation shifts to carbon-neutral energy sources. For proponents, it's a change that must be made to fight climate change. For natural gas companies, it's a threat to their
