Nearly all leftists feel they're smarter that you and know what's best for society. It starts in the educational system. They are bombarded by their leftist teachers, whom they look up to. I think we're all conditioned to respect and look up to our teachers at a young age. It continues through the college years. By the time they're out they feel they know a lot. Few have been taught critical thinking. It always amazes me how little they really know of a subject when pressed. They end up feeling that total equality and socialism will be right when THEY, the smart people, implement it.

People hear only buzz words. Free, free, free,. Educate them on how the “free” affects their life. Example to make rich pay means everyone with a 401 account will have their money taken from them to pay for free stuff. In regards to climate change, if all suggestions were made into law, we could not enjoy even a life as we do now. Anything left that has not been outlawed because it is a byproduct of oil would not be affordable. I do not want to live in the dark I do not want to count on my electric car to get me out of the way of a forest fire. I like refrigeration, air travel and my cell phone.Take each platform they run on and explain why it is not a good idea.

Our public schools are dumbing down our children who have no idea of what Communist terror means because they are not being taught about the reality of Communism/Socialism. America is being destroyed by people who will not listen, are not informed, and are not being taught to think for themselves. Kayne West is right about the black community being told to do as the Progressives say do and to stop thinking out of the box. "The uninformed are easily misinformed." It is the Communist/Alinsky way. Hillary and Barrack were the leaders of this movement . The scary part is that the MSM still hold them up as icons to listen to. Bah Humbug! Beam me up.

I refer to the millennial's as the "google generation". They think they know so much because they can simply type-in a few words, and get results. They are under the impression that the first group of results is the answer, or the truth when they are simply the results from who paid the most to google to get the top ranking. Socialism sound so social, and they are all on social media, etc.. so they're not likely to understand the true effects of socialism where most of them are the "useful idiots" for the Elite who will control the useful idiots.

Millennials are spongers and live off their parents and in their basement. Dumbed down in college where they learn absolutely nothing but rubbish. Add to that their naivete and you have the new lefty lefts. I love this country and I do not wish communism or socialism on the American people. But I would like to with it on these lazy millennials and have them get a reality check. First thing that would change that there would be no longer any hand outs. Fat rump pigs who get up around noon will have to show up for work. It's something that the rest of us have done for decades. None of this hurry up, give me my check I need to get back into my warm bed. There will be food shortages, bad clothing, etc.... New inventions? Foooget about it. You will get punished for that. Writing? Unless it's along party lines don't bother. Voting? Why go? There is only one party. Of course, fat cats on the top, nothing much will change for them!

FTA: "Some of the new progressive rich feel guilty about their unprecedented wealth. So they champion redistribution as the sort of medieval penance that alleviates guilt." I suspect that is a true statement but I'd rather they just kill themselves and not our country. I believe VDH missed the most apt comparison to our plight when listing some failed socialist states. While he cited the genocidal communism legacy of Russia and China, progressives would rather follow the Cambodian model by mass extermination of the remaining red-blooded Americans, be they of liberal or conservative bent. They would take the greatest delight in ridding the world of anyone who supports President Trump. The GOP knows this, which is why any political support of Trump from Congress is tepid at best.

It is normal for any organism to take the easiest path. Socialism promises to make sure you get 'your fair share', even if they have steal it from someone else. Socialism guarantees failure and suffering. Why do so many Americans support it? As long as its someone else failure and suffering, a lot of people are fine with that. So many people are clueless regarding their surroundings so they have no idea what's happening. If somebody is spouting propaganda, its likely the first thing people will hear. When Socialism disarms the public, and is enforced at the point of a brown shirt with a gun, what choice is there?

This is only one half of the puzzle. Why Americans are OK with Socialism that has such a failed and destructive history. But the dem leadership has been blatantly lying about our economic system for over a century. They point out "problems" and offer "fixes" that undermine our Republic. When the fixes fail to work, they offer more severe solutions, all the time dodging the responsibility for the damage they did in the first place. Dem "leadership" is toxic to our Republic. People aren't "seeking" Socialism. They are being promised stuff by dem leadership that sounds too good to be true. It is. Dems are lying. It won't work. It never works because Socialism is fatally flawed.

One notable and little-reported conclusion emerging from the House Democratic impeachment proceedings is a consensus among some foreign policy professionals that President Trump's Ukraine policy has been an improvement over President Barack Obama's. Ukraine was an occasionally hot issue in the 2016 campaign for all the wrong reasons. At the Republican convention, a false headline in the Washington Post, "Trump campaign guts GOP's anti-Russia stance on Ukraine," gave birth to a false narrative that candidate Trump, desperate to appease Vladimir Putin, would undermine U.S. support for Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression. Then Trump became president, and his administration enacted a new policy that not only continued a broad range of
