Last week in a dinner speech at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C., Princeton professor Robert George had some advice for social and religious conservatives: “You must fight.”
It was an exhortation that does him no good in the academic world. A distinguished Ivy League scholar and teacher isn’t supposed to talk about the “culture war.” George has strong connections with the established conservative world, too, which balks at the confrontational style. In my year at the James Madison Program at Princeton, which George directs, visitors included George Will, Steve Forbes, and Andrew Napolitano. But the other night was a firm declaration of resistance.
It was fantastic.

Excellent article! The only thing this Author left out is the fact that this Awakening has happened now is because TRUMP is the person who drew the line in the sand. He refused to cower. He refused to let the Deep State take him down. He is the LEADER of the Street Fighters and now he has millions marching behind him, ready to FIGHT! He recognized it's war! He, and those of us with him, are fighting to save not only his presidency, but our country! God help us!

FTA:Alinskys rules fail if the target is not intimated.” How true this is. I have been in many discussions with liberals. They try but cannot intimidate me. I do not allow them to upset me. One way they try is by calling me names. I let them. When they are finished I tell them they can call me anything they want to. Just don’t call me late for dinner! I have had the discussion stopped with that line and the lib just walks away. And I smile!

Needs to be said regularly. Of course you need to fight. The Left is not an honorable or well-meaning adversary.

My first read this morning. Makes me think of Lindsay Graham resigning his chairmanship at the end of 2020. It’s obvious he doesn’t want to fight. Wondering what dirt the deep state has on this man? President Trump actually is the “chosen one” to lead the fight against corruption but most importantly our country’s sovereignty and the future of our culture. As for me; I’ll be going to the gun range after church. Then I plan on visiting my new grandson!

Republicans politicians have acted like college professors rather than street fighters. A hundred years ago that may have worked but not today. You have to have a kick 'em while their down mentality. Every election must be approached like a battle. No political weapon is off limits. You're going to lose the country otherwise.

After being called every name in the book by a liberal, my response is "ok...now explain how I'm wrong"
The time to start fighting back is several decades in the past. The right has compromised and surrendered on so many fronts that its hard to imagine how to reverse the tide when we are now strategically surrounded on all sides. Giving up isn't an option and the survival of the republic means that we fight back. Because being nice has gotten us where we are at, and being nice is a sign of weakness.
There is a reason that islamists set up rocket launchers in schools, hospitals and mosques. Its because they know that we won't strike them there. Thats why democrats are incessed by Trump. He doesn't fight back like a republican. He fights back using their own tactics. He's not afraid to cross the republican self imposed line. He's not afraid of being called names. Trump IS the man for the fight at this time. He's showing the way and getting results. Its time for the rest of the GOP to stop the pearl clutching and get on the front lines.

The article is spot on. It's time for republicans to wake up and realize this is a war with the left. This goes doubly for elected republicans who represent us in the swamp.
No more hoping the democrats will like them, no more kissing democrat asses, no more cocktails at the end of the day with the leftist enemy, no more pretending to get along with the left and no more being civil to them. The democrats have given ample evidence that they are the true deplorables who will do every underhanded thing imaginable to get their way and republicans who can't face up to this reality need to get out of the way and let the war proceed apace.

This is one of the huge problems with the "conservative commentators", you know their names. They want to get along in DC, still get invited to the parties, still be treated politely, far, far more than they actually want to WIN. So they are far more interested in getting along, which means LOSING politely, than they are interested in winning. And they really resent the hell out of Trump coming along and upsetting the whole Deep State/globalist corrupt cabal that they have become a comfortable, well paid part of. They resent Trump winning, and I think some of their vicious anger is self-hatred from recongnizing how they have been essentially traitors, the eunichs of conservatism, the tame, helpless "conservatives" which are permitted "with the concubines" (invited to the parties, allowed out in leftist society).....because they are known to have no testicles for a fight, known to just be place holders, 'who won't really cause any trouble'.

#1, God has already helped us by the results of the 2016 election! God Bless President Donald Trump. After 8 years of that Kenyan moron LOSER, it is finally a pleasure once again to sit back and listen to an intelligent, American born and USA loving President address us, and to know he is on our side!
MAGA!!!.

Unafraid to cross the Republican rubicon of self-imposed weakness, DJT is showing the GOP it’s time to get on with the fight. KAG

The most glaring example of Republican weakness to me is trying to figure out how the Republican Party which was founded to end slavery , fought against discrimination , segregation , Jim Crow and the Klan for 100 years somehow allowed themselves to be tagged as the party responsible for all those things and to this day still never makes clear that the Democrats were and are responsible for all of it. Millions today take it for granted that Republican = racist and the stupid party accepts it with only weak protests.

Conservatives will not fight. Conservatives surrender, as they have done for 80 years since FDR.
The GOP is a sham party, collaborators with liberal fascism. As long as they get perpetual foreign wars, they accept socialism.
War is the remedy our enemies have chosen, and I say, let us give them all they want of it.
Socialism cannot be eradicated as long as GOP collaborators run interference.
It will be necessary top sweep the collaborators out of the way before encountering the enemy.
