Pete Buttigieg: ‘We Will Not
Recognize’ America if Donald Trump
Is Re-Elected in 2020

Original Article

Mayor Pete Buttigieg said Friday that Democrats would not recognize America if President Donald Trump was re-elected in 2020. “This country cannot afford four more years of Donald Trump,” he said. “We will not recognize it if he gets reelected.” Buttigieg spoke to Iowa Democrats at the Liberty and Justice Celebration dinner, a prominent event in the Democrat presidential nomination process. He tried to seize the mantle of former President Barack Obama, hinting that they were both candidates with a “funny name.” “The first time I came to this state was as a volunteer, to knock on doors for a presidential candidate – a young man with a funny name,” he said.

Comments:

I'm counting on that. We need to get rid of liberals and "progressives" wherever they are. Only then can America regain her soul.

I think the only reason that Mayor Pete looks so good is everyone else looks so bad, and he looks moderately moderate. But he has been an abject failure as mayor, could never capture the Black vote anywhere, his military service consisted of a few months behind a desk (and a briefer stint as a driver fora bigwig) in Afghanistan, so his posturing is very Kerry-like in that respect. I sincerely hope that voters take a LOOK at him before they anti up.

Mrs. Chasten is getting all worked up again. We already don't recognize America if one compares it to the period between 2008 and 2016 and we kind of like it this way. "Butt out" Pete. Go knit some doilies or something to calm yourself.

Is subjunctive mood dead? Do journalists not have to take courses in grammar? Opening sentence should read: "... if President Donald Trump were to be re-elected in 2020."

Maybe in 4 more years the homosexuals in this country will realze that the shock value has worn off on their paradigm and stop it already. Homosexual men all have HUSBANDS. Homosexual women all have WIVES. Yawn. Maybe in 4 more years President Trump will have kept his campaign promise to Make America Great Again. So far so good. Maybe in 4 more years the novelty will have worn off Occasionally-Cognizant and her little squad and they will ALL go the way of Roberto O'Rourquez. I could go on but then I'd be a columnist.

Fabulous! For once this inept small-town mayor makes sense. We didn't like the way America was looking - - that's why we elected Trump - - to give it a new look - - which resembled the old look.

You're right poster #6, homosexuals have won the right to have same-sex marriage, men marrying men, women marrying women. Their goal now is to have the right to have spouses of any age even those that are 4yrs. old. That's been the game plan from the very beginning, that's why we now have deviants in libraries reading stories to children, to brainwash them that sex with anyone and anything is a good thing.

The United States of today is unrecognizable from the U.S. of my childhood in the 1950s and early 1960s. For all of the abuse the historians have heaped on that time, it really was a time of innocence and lofty ambitions. We'll never see its like again.

What I care about is his proposed policies and his past experience as a leader. I don't like them. So I would not vote for him. His gayness? If he were a flaming drag queen but had good policies and leadership abilities, I'd back him. Whom he sleeps with is irrelevant.

#3, yes. In the trash along with the words "invitation", "question", and many other nouns replaced by the verbs "invite" and "ask" misused ignorantly as nouns. Once the stopped teaching grammar, the language started going down the Beverly Hillbillies' drain pretty rapidly, and the language misuse jokes that were funny in 1963, are now normal manner of speaking, and sadly even for allegedly educated folks. Even Bret Baer says "send him and invite" like a refugee from Appalachia. Wouldn't it be cool to put grammar and history back into schools? And eliminate "diversity" and "perversion education"?

Last week in a dinner speech at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C., Princeton professor Robert George had some advice for social and religious conservatives: “You must fight.” It was an exhortation that does him no good in the academic world. A distinguished Ivy League scholar and teacher isn’t supposed to talk about the “culture war.” George has strong connections with the established conservative world, too, which balks at the confrontational style. In my year at the James Madison Program at Princeton, which George directs, visitors included George Will, Steve Forbes, and Andrew Napolitano. But the other night was a firm declaration of resistance. It was fantastic. One of the people cheering

Welcome to the new and improved Get Trump Daily, special impeachment edition. A couple of days ago, on Halloween, a cute kid of about 7 came to our door dressed up as a dinosaur. It was a pretty nifty costume, green with spindling protuberances, tail with spiky-things, and bits on the head that expanded in a showy way when the budding tyrannosaur pressed a button. This had two effects: One, you could tell that it was supposed to be scary, so it was a cue to say, “Oooh!” and “Ah! That’s scary!” Two: it made the costume’s occupant feel important, and I think that was probably the major effect. “Trick or treat."

Our founding fathers were well versed in Latin. In fact, Latin phrases and mottoes adorn our national treasures and pepper our corpus of political discourse and jurisprudence. Today, one stands out above all as the Dems, desperate to usurp the upcoming presidential election, embark on an impeachment coup: quid pro quo. When considering the apparatus of our government, the founders favored a distribution of power similar to that of the Roman Republic. Benjamin Franklin captured their admiration of the early republic's virtue and its representative nature when responding to a question about what the constitutional delegates had crafted: "A republic, if you can keep it."

Trump derangement syndrome (TDS) is a mental disorder in which a person has effectively been driven insane due to his hatred of Donald Trump, to the point where he abandons all logic and reason. Such people are impervious to facts that contradict their preconceived notions of the president. As to a syndrome, it's a group of symptoms that consistently occur together and indicate the presence of a particular mental or physical disease. For example, symptoms for the onset of diabetes include things like increased thirst and urination, insulin resistance, high belly fat, blurred vision, and so on. One of the symptoms of TDS is envy.

How has it come to pass that in America, a man can identify as a woman, and his linguistic affirmation by itself, at least in New York City, obligates others to refer to him as "her"? And why is it increasingly considered mandatory to declare that men taking female hormones can compete against women in sporting events? What aberrant philosophical doctrine, you may ask, is behind the assertion that there are sixty-three genders or that marriage must no longer be considered the union of a man and a woman? The answer to these and other absurdities can be found in Robert Curry's new book, Reclaiming Common Sense

She hasn’t begun to think through the implications of this extreme proposal, but when voters begin to contemplate it, my guess they will vote against her, enthusiastically. Yesterday Warren was asked what would become of all those people who are now employed in the health insurance industry.
