You don't like US policy regarding Ukraine. Want to change it? Become president. Oh, you can't because you're were born in a foreign country and Ukrainian at that. Biased a little?

I think the ltc and the president have one thing in common, they've both advanced as far as they can in the fedgov. The ltc needs to be made the meteorology officer in Antarctica, for the remainder of his 'career'.
And more Obola-era officers and bureaucrats need to be shown the door through firings/resignations or postings to miserable locations.

Let's ask Vindeman what he thought of those 4 democrat senators instructing Ukrainian leaders to keep investigating Trump before the election or they would not support additional foriegn aid?

So, he's the "top" WH expert on Ukraine, huh?
Does he admit there was corruption in 2014, 15, 16?
Was he alarmed by 4 Democrat Senators writing a letter hinting their support could fade if they didn't "play ball"?
If he was alarmed by the corruption in 2014, 15 and 16, but didn't do anything then why is he more concerned today?
Did he try to find the $7 billion that simply seems to have vanished in Ukraine?

This thing is an illegitimate farce. I do not understand how the Republicans can even attend this mess. Republicans should just leave.

Vindman has served honorably as an Infantry officer and received the Purple Heart for wounds suffered in combat. I am not in any way impugning his service, but here are some things to consider. It is not unusual for officers of all branches in the Army including combat arms officers to shift to Foreign Area Officer because of their background or schooling. Vindman clearly has the background to do this for the Eurasia specialty. Having said that, an officer will nominally be under the IC and DoS umbrellas for his job. As much as he is a Ukraine "expert," since 2008 he has moved in those circles where PDT and conservatives in general are reviled and where much of the phony sourcing and evidence against Trump was manufactured. Just keep this in mind when further details emerge.

Folks, the “Interagency” is the DC bureaucratic civilian and military “Deep State” that has opposed just about every initiative formulated by President Trump after he was elected by the American people.
If the White House, actually the President, ordered that civilian and military personnel assigned to work in the White House not appear before the Democrat run impeachment inquisition that has not yet been formalized by a vote of the entire House of Representatives, and this Lieutenant Colonel defied that presidential order, as a military officer on active duty who took an oath to obey the orders of the President, he could have a serious problem with the Uniform Code of Military Justice that could bring his military career to an end. Remember everyone civilian and military who works at the White House is under the direction of the President, and the President is under no constitutional requirement to design his foreign policy decisions to please subordinates assigned to work in the White House.
In his phone call with the President of Ukraine President Trump requested that Ukraine cooperate with the US Attorney General and the US Department of Justice that may or may not be conducting an official US investigation of corruption, that may have been involved political corruption in Ukraine, other foreign countries, and the USA relating to the 2016 election. During the phone call it was the President of Ukraine who brought up Joseph Biden’s and his son’s names during that conversation. President Trump did not ask that Ukraine prosecute the Bidens. Just because the senior Biden is a Democrat politician, among about 20 others, who are running for President in 2020, that fact does not confer any immunity upon him or his son for violating US laws in the past.
