Top Democrats at the deposition of Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, the top Ukraine expert on the National Security Council, said his testimony Tuesday was “extremely disturbing” and praised him for appearing despite attacks from the White House. Acting House Oversight Chairwoman Carolyn Maloney, D-N.Y, told NBC News she found Vindman’s remarks “extremely, extremely, extremely disturbing” as she left the deposition. Maloney refused to answer any other questions about Vindman’s testimony.

Baloney. We've read the transcript. There's nothing disturbing in the phone call.

'Extremely disturbing' is code speak for we still have nothing. It is clear and obvious that the Lt. Col has policy differences with the CinC. It won't be the first time this has happened nor will it be the last. There are two options. Zip your lip and follow orders. Or resign are get out of the way.

Another day, another round of Bulls4it. This kabuki circus is nothing more than a distraction for the upcoming IG & DOJ reports soon to drop. If the Democrats really had anything on Trump -ANYTHING-they would be convenieng Grand Juries. But they're not because they don't. And Maloney is extremely, extremely, extremely afraid to say anything other than what she's told to say.

Soros put him up to it. With a little help from Biden Shifty and Pignasty. All coached him for hours. Makes great “news”. This is all about overwhelming the media with the big lie.

How is it that this Colonel-Lite can testify against the President, the CIC, when it is forbidden for those in the military to opine about politics? Trump should come down on his superior officers like a ton of bricks.

I’ll give it to the Dims: they’re consistent and unified.

The actual transcript didn't pack a punch, so they are bringing in someone who is running around with their hair on fire because of how it made him feel.

Who cares if some Light Colonel doesn't agree with the Commander & Chief. It's not his job to try to remove a President because he doesn't agree. Boo Hoo.

Unless it has changed since I have been in, UCMJ rules no politics and he appears to be insubordinate. Doesn't he have a commanding officer? He needs to face a court martial and lose his pension.

Very simple - - any time a president "disturbs" someone - - he should be removed from office.
Yes - - that's exactly the way it should work.
Remove Trump!

Who wants to bet this Light (in the loafers) Colonel doesn't have skin in the game in Ukraine? Sounds like every American "official" who went over there was coming back with some kind of financial reward. This lowly O-5 has been called into action to speak out against his Commander In Chief, who is effectively a 7-Star General.

So deep-stater embed in the administration with an "opinion" -- not facts --, volunteers to relate his opinion to Schift who then rushes out into the hallway to report it as "extremely disturbing" to the press.
Rinse and repeat

As with many of the Democrat's star witnesses; their testimony is not about facts, it's about their FEELINGS. They feel that what Pres. Trump is bad or hurting something. They still have nothing to actually back-up their feelings or being "disturbed" that actually shows that Trump did something that lead to impeachment.

When I was in the army, a “light “ colonel was somebody who didn’t impress or kiss enough a-s to become a Full Colonel. A Sargent Major, although an NCO, outranked in respect, a Light colonel, as a rule.

It isn't Vindman's testimony the democrats are alarmed about! The alarm is due to a criminal investigation recently announced!

Well the the top Democrats were certainly alarmed when Donald Trump announced that he was running for the 2016 Republican nomination and said within minutes of President Trump being inaugurated that they intended to impeach him and remove his from office. Since then the Democrats have tried all sorts of political dirty tricks to run Trump out of office and nothing has worked. Now the Democrats are trying to formally impeach the President.
Clearly the Democrats could find a thousand “Deep State” and Democrat aligned DC bureaucrats, both civilian and military, to appear before this current Democrat impeachment inquisition, and state that they disagree with foreign policy decisions made by the elected President of the USA for one reason or another. The problem is that it is the elected President of the USA in accordance with the US Constitution who is the ultimate decider as to what US foreign policy will be. Under that system those bureaucrats work for the President, and the President is under no constitutional or statutory obligation to design his foreign policy decisions to please “Deep State” and Democrat aligned bureaucrats, either civilian or military.

What is disturbing here is that anyone thinks some Lt. Col. that no one ever heard of should be deciding the foreign policy of the US. The democrats are losing their minds. Suddenly they are enamoured of the military are warmongers and fiscal conservatives. Trump really is all powerful. We all respect the military but the fact is just because you are in the military does not make you an expert on anything or anyone. You are a soldier and your opinions are best kept to yourself. I am sure that there were plenty of Lt. Cols. who disagreed with Eisenhower, so what? There are 350 million people in this country, we have one President and he decides foreign policy that is a fact, like it or not, we do not do foreign policy by consensus never have, never will. Our Presidents sometimes make mistakes, sometimes they are big ones like Carter helping to overthrow the Shah and Obama giving the Iranian terrorist state 150 billion to use against us. But like it or not they are their mistakes to make. If you don't like it, and you work in the White House or for the State dept I suggest you do the honorable thing and quit instead of doing a Benedict Arnold and stabbing your nation in the back. By the way, Arnold had quite an resume too. This guy has an opinion so what? He has a right to his opinion, he does not have the right to undermine a sitting President. He should be stripped of rank and shown the door with a dishonorable discharge.

It was "extremely disturbing" on the first day that Schiff interviewed Joe Maguire and recited his "parody" of what he wished had happened. Besides being a pencil-neck geek, Schiff is also a drama queen. The dems have a Tiger by the tail and as soon as they let go they will all have to put on their clown suits because they really, really, really look like jackasses.

Every time I hear the phrase "Deeply Disturbing" of variants thereof, I think of Maine's Senator Susan Collins, whose use of that phrase, in her distinctive quaver, is her only contribution to the body politic.

The fact that Vindman is an active duty military officer is really beside the point, as his testimony is a clearly politically based action that he decided to take because of his obvious bias and special interests that appear to be aimed at helping the country of his birth, Ukraine, to overcome the “America First” foreign policy initiatives being pursued by the elected President of the USA. Since the man is either a Democrat supporter or a Never Trumper the Congressional Democrats are pleased as punch to hear what he has to say.
