Even as the Democrats Abandon Them

The quip among Jewish Republicans about President Obama’s trafficking with anti-Semites was that he was so popular with American Jews that had he nuked Tel Aviv, he would have lost no more than 30% of the Jewish vote.
The affinity for American Jews for the Democrat Party has long been a political curiosity. The distinguished essayist Milton Himmelfarb observed that in America, Jews had attained the socioeconomic status of Episcopalians, but for some reason they continued to vote like Puerto Ricans.
Nothing seems to dissolve the sinew that ties Jews to the Democrats. President Obama’s association with the anti-Semitic Rev. Jeremiah Wright brought a collective yawn.

I believe the Jewish community does not want to be associated in any way with Christianity which they connect to the Republican Party even though Christians are for the most part very supportive of Jews and Israel. It is a pity though because Democrats really are not their friends. Just like every other minority, the dems use them for political purposes and that’s it. When it comes down to it, the dems only really like their own kind; anti-American, white, godless, radical communists but they know need minorities. Regardless of what they say, the democrat party uses whatever advantage a minority may give them and then they ignore them until they need them again. Thankfully, there are many Jews who know the truth about the democrat party, but far too many still don’t get it.

We who are 'enlightened' wonder why it is that everyone else doesn't share our views. I recognize that I have been blessed to have been born into a religious and largely conservative family but I also think that moving to Dallas, Texas when I was a child gave my parents space to become Republicans against their own Chicago Democrat history. I don't think that most Dems (black or white) are stupid or most American Jews are faithless. Few of us are able to rise above our family/cultural backgrounds. I truly despise the main stream media for their having prostituted themselves with only one side of the political divide. This one-sided 'news' source virtually guarantees that Democrats stay Democrat and weaker Republicans stay tempted. As to our Jewish brethren here in America, here they generally have a good life with freedom to practice their faith. Islamic terror is real even here but very uncommon. Their memories of Diaspora and Holocaust are now merely ancient historical facts they learn about in some museum on vacation or a school field trip - the memories have dimmed and have become someone else's tragedy. So why should they be expected to support Israel? American Christians only do it because Israel fits into their faith's narrative of end-times - otherwise they'd not care either.

Simply amazing! My husband is Jewish and follows reason, not habit, in his voting. I have NEVER understood this attitude by Jews.

And poster number 2 is dead wrong. Whatever they are doing, it is not to buck Christianity. This is playing into the Jews as separate and dangerous meme.

The Jewish folk this article is talking about are progressive, leftist, liberals first, last, and always.
Being Jewish has little to do with it.
Therefore, logic will not be persuasive.

Very simple answer - - - -
For most of these hardliners - - being "Jewish" is secondary - - even tertiary - - to being socialist or communist.
Their "Jewishness" is simply an accident of birth - - not a matter of commitment.
Any questions?

If the Jews were to stop writing checks to the Rat party, how long before the Rat party would began attacking those same Jews with their usual hate and ugliness? I think not long at all. ''Show me the money!''

Jewish voters are faced with a stark choice, side with democrats and sow the seeds of their own destruction or open their eyes to see what the democrat party become and that it no longer hides its hate for Jews. The left has never been a friend to the Jewish community and uses them as they use minorities. Maybe the
anti-semitism of the "Squad" will wake them up but I'm not holding out much hope..

There were millions of Jews left in Germany after Hitler made it very clear shortly after coming to power that their presence was not wanted in Germany. Many immigrated successfully while the ones left behind began to find their family wealth confiscated, putting them in a position of being unable to immigrate... but they never believed the Germans would turn on them like they eventually would.
How could the writer of the Old Testament from thousands of years ago, have predicted that this tiny population of descendants of Abraham, living on a small patch of land among other nations, forever be subjects of worldwide persecution and scorn? Is there any way of explaining its unfailing accuracy, unless the Bible is TRUTH?

Jews were not historically supported by Republicans. Least we forget that the US, under Harry Truman, was the first country to recognize Israel. Jews not being viewed as "others" is a fairly recent phenomena. I imagine that the Holocaust and Israel winning several wars changed perceptions.
Jews have historically been persecuted, and still are. Naturally, many will gravitate to whichever political entity pays lip service to equality, acceptance and protection. Why they continue to remain with the democrats is probably a complicated answer.

Present day American Jews are not Liberals, they are Leftists. Leftism is a disease that first attacks and subdues reason or logic. The rest is all right in front of us.

Having been raised on the Bible, many if not most of the Jewish people acting against self interest and abandoning God is not exactly anything new. The Old Testament is filled with that story. I never understood it as a child nor now still, abandoning the God who freed Israel from Egypt with miraculous plagues, parted the Red Sea, fed them manna in the desert, brought down the walls of Jericho, and the list goes on and on until....
"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets and stonest them that are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!" Luke 13:34

And who is running the treasonous Democratic Party? Secular Jews, commencing with Soros. And why is that?

There were Jews who knew they needed to get out of Germany...and there were Jews who thought they would be safe if they just followed the rules.
Today we have Jews who are voting for those who want to protect them....and those who think they will benefit by going along with the dems.
Probably a similar percentage of those with wisdom and discernment.

It seems that Jews in this country have a death wish. Their embrace of the Progressives/Democrats who increasingly side with the "Death to Israel" crowd seems totally irrational to me.
The only parallel that I know of is abused small children will run to the parent that is abusing them.

I think it is related to the fact that so many Jews are urban denizens, concentrated in the big, liberal cities. All they know is what they have absorbed from that environment. They are bombarded with liberal propaganda and are intimidated by peer pressure. Jews in flyover country are more open to reality, as many of us see.
