Insider Democrat 2020 fears
chronicled by a sympathizer

Original Article

A fascinating look inside Democrats’ deepest fears about 2020 comes from a Bloomberg columnist. Democrats are afraid of President Trump expanding his voting base to people who haven’t voted in recent elections. (snip) what if Trump represents not a last gasp of cultural and racial revanchism but a new wave? What if the trickle of white men who voted for the first time in years in Wisconsin in 2016, despite widespread predictions that Trump’s candidacy was doomed, is followed in 2020 by a wave of previously nonvoting white males who conclude that Trump’s brand of tribal aggression is at last something worth voting for?

The pompous and condescending Mr. Wilkinson misunderstands completely. He assumes that Trump supporters are uneducated and low information voters. Quite the opposite. The more people come to understand the true liberal agenda the less votes it will get. The one thing that has helped Trump the most is that they are no longer hiding it.

Americans are not as dumb as democrats believe they are. It does not take a college degree to realize the ruling class in both parties has been on a quest to destroy this country since the 60’s. Democrats are not the only ones woke. Working class people easily understand what is happening to this country and they are sick of it. They want a man like Trump who is pro-American and proud of it. They have experienced the benefits of his presidency and they will turn out in massive numbers to re-elect him. If the rallies are any indication, he will win in a landslide. We take nothing for granted though and will work as if he is 10 points behind. Now more than ever, Trump 2020.

Anyone who thinks that not having a college education is a huge disadvantage, hasn't paid attention to what most colleges have become. I'll take the decision of an electorate that knows the difference between boys and girls, believes climate change is longer way to say 'weather' and which end of a hammer to hold.

Wilkinson seems to like the term "non-college-educated white men". He uses it as a slam as though these men are toothless idiots. Let's set the record straight. A college degree has absolutely nothing to do with intelligence, common sense, honor or character. The guy who fixes your BMW and your spouse's Lexus Mr. Wilkinson has to know electronics, computers, mechanics and several other trades. It is likely he is making high five and possibly low six figure income. Whereas the common goof with a four social justice degree is waiting tables at Bob Evans and can not name two of our Supreme Court Justices let alone all nine. Right now, I believe a college degree if not in Finance, Accounting or Engineering is an absolutely worthless piece of paper.

The article describes the threat as "a wave of previously nonvoting white males who conclude that Trump’s brand of tribal aggression is at last something worth voting for." The left is desperate to prevent voters from realizing that Trump's "tribe" is all Americans. He wants to help everyone live the best lives they can. This is so apparent that he has even begun to break the Dems' stranglehold on minorites.

I love how this character states that President Trump's supporters don't seek out legitimate news (actually fake news to those of us who are clued in) but their news source is propaganda - which we know to be the facts that do not support the narrative this author wants to push. He is also dripping copious amounts of condescension; I trust any non college educated voter to have a keener grasp of the facts than do those who went to college since that institution is turning minds into mush and are congratulating themselves for doung so. Colleges are supposed to teach students HOW to think...not WHAT to think.

Trump’s brand of tribal aggression? If you use this fantasy as your starting point, you have not a prayer of understanding why people may turn out in high numbers to vote for Trump. The problem is that all of the potential Democrat candidates are ultra-extremists that all want to undue everything good that Trump has done and try to replace it with agendas that are completely out of touch with reality. The DNC is afraid that people will realize, if any of these candidates are elected, the threat this is to their livelihood and well being and will vote to protect it.

Simple answer, President Trump is winning because he is working for America, not the many unproductive special interest groups that the democrats buy with empty promises. As for those who sat home and hadn't voted in a long time, George Bush was a yawner and the two candidates who opposed Barack Obama were not worth getting out of bed to go to the voting booth and have turned out worse than advertised. If John McCain had not met his demise he would be in the primary actively opposing Trump. So would Romney if he had the courage. The democrats have known for a while that they are doomed and that's why they have pulled out all the stops of decency and sanity. Impeachment proceedings will seal their fate. MAGA is unstoppable.

If you want to know what Leftist voters look like, take a look at one of their rallies. It's written on their faces. The Left are the dregs of society. They scream about life being unfair and blame our country for their problems. They are angry women and men who have low self esteem. They are low information voters. Basically, they're ignoramuses and will follow any carrot that's put in front of them. Then take a look at one of Trumps rallies. They are healthy, clean and industrious looking. They're mostly middle class who pay taxes and who take care and are proud their family. They are the doers and fixers not complainers. They are independent minded and start businesses in the community. They are respectful of our laws. The big difference is one group hates and the other one Loves this country.

The men and women who work in factories, construct roads and bridges and buildings, install plumbing and electrical wiring, and so forth are the backbone of the nation. The elite would have no place to live and no place to spout their Leftist propaganda if it weren't for the men and women who construct and maintain the buildings they live and work in. These workers should be heard. They should be taken just as seriously -- perhaps more so -- than the elite. These workers produce goods and services. The elite YAP!

The Dems are all strategies and slogans and tested programs and data. Trump, on the other hand, is The Action Man. He said he was going to bring our boys home and he is going to break his butt to do so; he wanted to work on the opioid problem and The First Lady is quietly working on that problem; he's improved the job market for all working men and women (white, black and brown); he said he is pro-life and his pro-life actions and choice of judges square with his word; he has improved the economy for the farmers through his trade deals with China; he wants to make our southern border secure to stop the drug and sex trafficking trade and he is always on the case in spite of all the opposition from the Dems; he is trying to finalize the trade deal between Canada and The United States and Mexico and, if Ms. Pelosi would only cooperate, and allow the trade deal to be finalized, we should see enormous benefits for our northern and southern neighbors, while solidifying our own economy. The thing is: there are The Elites (I believe it was Thomas Sowell who referred to them as "self-anointed elites") and us, and we are beginning to watch the curtain being pulled back on many of our elitists, whether in the communication industry or in the political world, and we've determined that "heck", we might as well stick with The Action Man.

Conservatives are happily gloating over the fact that Andrew Cuomo is at, or rapidly approaching, his nadir. (snip) Cuomo's pandering has always been coarse, heavy-handed, and insincere. Though he is hardly a closet conservative, and probably genuinely supports these policies, it has always been obvious that Cuomo manipulated leftist identity groups so that they would have no alternative but to vote for him and make him governor-for-life. (Indeed, until only a few weeks ago, Cuomo seemed to be a shoo-in for a fourth term). Eventually, though, it became clear that the leftist identity-politics groups were getting tired of getting the pimp hand from Cuomo

Meghan Markle, it seems, isn't much of a scholar. While much of the focus has been on her barbs accusing the British royal family of abnormal interest in her baby's skin color and denying him a title and personal security protection supposedly because he is black and they are racists, what's striking to me is how unprepared she was for the royal role she sought when she married Prince Harry. Though the populist tide seems to have ebbed, it will rise again, and soon. The problem that ignited populist sentiment in the first place, whether on the left or the right, remains: the country’s economic and financial system has failed much of the population and is rigged to the benefit of a government-business elite. Resistance to this inequity elevated Trump and pulled the Democratic Party to the left and will continue to roil American politics until things change. The economy’s “rigging” has developed gradually over time and often from the best of intentions.

No, conference goers didn't gather to spread conspiracy theories. No, they didn't bow down to a golden statue of Trump. And no, the stage wasn't designed to pay homage to Nazi symbology. Fascism, a form of big government, is hated among conservatives. Outsiders in the mainstream media really piled on the hate. "There will be no policy debates," claimed an MSNBC opinion columnist. That's false. The truth, it seems, was of no value in reporting on this year's Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). Among speeches from high-profile Republicans were dozens of panels and debates on a broad spectrum of policy issues — which was the purpose of the gathering.
