Sen. Kamala Harris (D.-Calif.) said in a campaign appearance in Asheville, N.C., on Wednesday that she will oppose the confirmation of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the U.S. Supreme Court because among other things “the right of women to make decisions about their own body.” (Video) “They are trying to push through a Supreme Court nominee in what I call an illegitimate process,” said Harris, “because, by the way, we’re not talking about election season, we’re not talking about election year, we’re talking about an election that is taking place right now, where over 20 million Americans have voted and the election will be over in 13 days.

Georgia state Rep. Dar’shun Kendrick faced a wave of ridicule late Thursday after she appeared to confuse President Trump’s “coyotes” remark during the presidential debate with coyotes the animals. During Thursday’s final debate against Democratic presidential nominee Joseph R. Biden in Nashville, Mr. Trump addressed his now-defunct border separation policy, saying “children are brought here by coyotes and lots of bad people, cartels, and they’re brought here and it’s easy to use them to get into our country.” Ms. Kendrick, a Democrat, appeared unaware that the term “coyote” also means a person who smuggles illegal immigrants across the southern U.S. border.

Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court ruled Friday that election officials must accept mail-in ballots even if the signatures on them don’t match those on file for a voter. The justices said nothing in the state’s laws required signatures to be verified, so if election officials are satisfied with the vote save for the signature, they cannot reject it.(Snip) President Trump’s campaign had challenged the state over the issue. Signature matching is considered a key check in many states that run elections through the mail, and election officials are trained in how to spot matches and to question signatures that don’t appear to match.

National polls have Joe Biden ahead. State polls are tightening, but still give him an edge. However, Trump is outperforming his polling in 2016 in many battleground states. Is Trump headed for another surprise victory? According to pollster Frank Luntz, if Trump defies the polls again, his “profession is done.” “I hate to acknowledge it, because that’s my industry — at least partially — but the public will have no faith. No confidence. Right now, the biggest issue is the trust deficit,” Luntz told Bret Baier of Fox News. “Pollsters did not do a good job in 2016. So, if

Democratic presidential nominee Joseph R. Biden unleashed a gusher of criticism for his debate comment about making a “transition” from the oil industry, but former Democratic primary rival Pete Buttigieg was solidly in Mr. Biden’s corner.
“Remember, there’s no do-over on climate,” Mr. Buttigieg said Friday on CNN. “We’re literally entering the event horizon. We’ve got a matter of just a few short years before some of these things become irreversible.”
Mr. Biden sought to clarify his comments after saying at Thursday night’s debate that “I would transition from the oil industry, yes,”

CLAIM: Joe Biden claimed the “laptop from hell” with Hunter Biden’s emails is “Russian disinformation.”VERDICT: FALSE. There is no evidence that the laptop is Russian disinformation, and the emails have been corroborated.President Donald Trump raised the “laptop from hell” at Thursday’s presidential debate. He was referring to an abandoned laptop that contained emails suggesting that Joe Biden had, in fact, met with Hunter Biden’s foreign business partners, contrary to what the former vice president has claimed. The emails also suggested that the Biden family had pursued a business venture with a Chinese company — a claim corroborated before the debate by former partner Tony Bobulinski.

New revelations from Hunter Biden’s laptop and his former business partner, Tony Bobulinski, have implicated former Vice President Joe Biden in his son’s notorious business deals in Ukraine, China, and elsewhere. More evidence for the evolving story is emerging, day by day. Yet the very same media outlets that ran with the “salacious and unverified” Steele dossier recounting outlandish claims about President Donald Trump and Russia have refused to cover this very real scandal, despite its clear implications in the two weeks before the 2020 election.
While the scandal is particularly damning for Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., who has yet to give a detailed response to the allegations,

NASHVILLE — Two of Joe Biden’s top allies in Texas pleaded Thursday for him to pay attention to the state, venting frustration at his lack of investment despite vast resources and signs that Texas is closer than it’s been in decades to slipping from the GOP grip.
“We need some help from the national ticket,” said Beto O’Rourke, the former El Paso congressman who nearly toppled Sen. Ted Cruz two years ago.
“The voters in Texas are doing their part,” he said on a Texas Democratic Party call to preview Thursday night’s presidential debate in Nashville.
Julián Castro, the former Obama housing secretary and San Antonio mayor, echoed the demand.

The FBI has asked former Hunter Biden business associate Tony Bobulinski to sit for an interview Friday, Bobulinski's lawyers told the Senate Homeland Security Committee, which released a statement Friday. The FBI has also asked Bobulinski, who went on the record Thursday to accuse former Vice President Joe Biden of lying about his involvement with his son's business dealings, to turn over copies of his phones.
The FBI declined to comment to Fox News "in keeping with our standard practice of neither confirming nor denying the existence of an investigation."

It’s happening. After 50 years of absolute Democrat corruption and destruction the black community is looking for change.
And it’s not going to be with Joe “You Ain’t Black” Biden. Last night’s debate was devastating for Joe Biden and the Democrats.Depite a favorable list of topics and a biased liberal moderator, Joe Biden could not seal the deal.
Biden flopped. And President Trump pounding Joe Biden on his outrageous comments in the 90’s about “predator” young black males hit the target.

You’ll be shocked to learn there are some serious problems in San Francisco with petty crime. This week the San Francisco Chronicle reported on the seventh Walgreens drug store to announce it is closing in the city since last year. The problem is a wave of shoplifting from retail locations that can add up to millions of dollars in lost merchandise: The drugstore, which serves many older people who live in the Opera Plaza area, is the seventh Walgreens to close in the city since 2019.
“All of us knew it was coming. Whenever we go in there, they always have problems with shoplifters, ” said longtime customer Sebastian Luke,
