Brexit: Could Britain’s Bid for
Freedom End in Tragedy?

The rejection by Britain’s parliament of Prime Minister Johnson’s deal in respect of Brexit makes us wonder whether the denouement to this drama could end up like the last scene of “The Spy Who Came in From the Cold.” That involved the desperate flight to escape East Germany by Richard Burton and his disillusioned girlfriend. Inches from freedom, they are gunned down at the Berlin Wall.
It’s not our intention here to draw a moral equivalency between the European Union and the Soviet Bloc. (Or to predict gunfire.) Only to remark on how harrowing the desperate effort of the doughty Brits to escape Europe has become.

The powers that be in Britian dont want Brexit.
Its like in the US. The voters demand secure borders, an end to the illegal alien invasion and some fiscal restraint. And without fail, or elected officials ignore us.
Im only surprised that a re-vote on Brexit wasnt held. The Brits are notorious for voting again and again on a subject until the serfs get it right.

This could become quite the big time crisis. Just depends if/when the people finally come to realize their government has gone rogue and they turn against it. But, just a small problem. Their government does not fear them. Why? Throwing rocks at parliament won't even make it to the news cycle.

This is a clear nullification of the voter’s wishes by the ruling class. The globalists cannot allow the British people to vote to leave the EU. They must keep control of their little fiefdom and that means Britain must stay whether it benefits them or not or whether the people want to stay or not. They can’t have a country opting out because it may cause a domino effect and many more countries may vote to leave and they cannot afford to lose control of the progress they have made. The globalists are an evil bunch because this is all just a game to them with the winner ruling over the rest of us. They believe sovereignty is a thing of the past and their little group will make the rules and enforce them. The Brits are at a pivotal moment in their history. The choice is clear, freedom or tyranny. It is frustrating and sad to watch this once great country struggle to make the choice for freedom and sovereignty. Keeping Britain in the EU would be a big win for the globalists, but a very dark day for Britain.

The EU is a failing, corrupt, and very mean bureaucracy. Germany and France have not learned their lessons, but will be in school again, and soon. Eastern Europe (see WWII) will produce heroes to bite the EU's back. The fact is, with or without Britain, the EU will be gone in 10 years, or less. Britain will come back, but, given the awful elite, it will be a long, hard climb. Better now than later, but better later than never.

The EU is the successful accomplishment of the Germans goal in the 1940s--control of Europe under one government.

Sometime recently on the internet, I watched Nigel Farage singing "Hail Britannia", and he was singing it with such love of country and passion and vigor. It was so obvious to me that he knew that they must separate themselves from the hapless European Union so his country can again become strong and prosperous and not lose its own identity. The E.U. wants all countries to meld into one another so that no one country is recognizable from the other - which makes them all easier to control. It's obvious that the Globalists want America to lose its own identity as well.
What country in the European Union has changed positively since it was created?

This is a clear betrayal of the British people who voted in favor of leaving the EU by the British MP's. As with our own representatives here in the US, they seem to feel that they RULE over us and not represent us. I think the UK's only hope to leave the EU is the success of Nigel Farage and his Brexit Party.

Since the vote is so close why don't they just go with a North Britain and a South Britain. It would provide a natural division of the One-World crazies and people who were once proud of their independence.

The Ministers in Britain’s parliament did not have the guts vote on this issue, so they had a public referendum to have the people decide what to do. Not getting the answer they wanted, they are doing everything possible to overturn the will of the people.
It seems both Britain and the United States are cursed with lying politicians who have contempt for the will of the people.

FTA:
"he migration and fisheries language as containing a commitment to achieve a compromise to be adjudicated solely by the European Court."
Wow. That is suicidal.
And there is more in the language that makes it unpalatable for those who actually want British sovereignty back.
Let's hope that Farage and Johnson can work out some joint deal and finally get a real Brexit, against the wishes of the leadership class of globalist Brits.
