DALLAS - Both President Donald Trump and Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke are in North Texas Thursday for dueling campaign rallies. The two rallies are expected to draw lots of enthusiasm, as well as cause some traffic issues in and around Downtown Dallas. (Video) The crowd of people fired up about President Donald Trump’s rally in Downtown Dallas continues to grow. The Thursday night rally at the American Airlines Center kicks off at 7 p.m. and the doors open at 4 p.m. Attendees were asked to register online but the seating is first-come, first-served.

One is a campaign rally, the other is a six person lunatic asylum meeting.

The lamestream fakery on this one will be interesting. Expect Beano O'Dork to be portrayed as a patriotic hero (twitchy creep that he is) while President Trump is treated as he always is, or flat-out ignored.
Count on creative camera framing falsely depicting the Creepy One's audience as larger than it actually is while the President has thousands of supporters outside the venue who couldn't get in.

Trump will be brilliant and inspirational as usual. Beto will attempt to put a different spin on his gun confiscation delusions.

I have something to say about our American version of campaigning for public office. I did not vote for President Trump because I was very uncertain how he would handle critics. As a long time football coach, I was familiar with the phenomenon among football officials called "rabbit ears". Briefly, it occurs when an official pays more attention to criticism coming from the bench on the sideline, usually, the visiting team bench, than he pays to the game he is working. I feared that President Trump would be far too ready to engage his critics than to govern the nation.
I now realize that the thrust of the liberal left during the Trump presidency has been to obfuscate, lie, dissemble, confuse, and generally do their best to make the nation un-governable. This they have done by trying to undo the election of 2016. True, I was slow to come by this fact having not voted for President Trump. I have finally come to the realization that the democrats care not one whit about the country, its institutions, its traditions, its people, its economy, its defense or any other aspect of America that I care about.
I realize how callow and ingenue-like this sounds coming from a 74 year old man, but it is the truth. I regret the leeway that I had always given in my various discussions with liberals. I often credited them with wanting the same things out of life that I wanted. I now, after these years of observation, realize that they want none of those things. THEY WANT POWER! POLITICAL POWER which they will use to run the country, make decisions for its people whom they deem too stupid to make those decisions for themselves, and find a way to FOREVER exclude people like me from having any voice in the course of the nation.
I am sorry to say that I believe they will accomplish their goals, or, at least, enough of them to destroy this nation by turning it into Venezuela of the North.
I will most likely be dead by the time they have managed to wreck the country, but I am sad for my children and grandchildren. The most important thing I have learned is the thing I call the Boomerang Barometer. It works simply. Whatever the democrats want, it will be bad for the country if they get it and, secondly, I should support whatever the democrats don't want because it will be good for the country.

#5, Millions upon millions agree with you about the legacy we are leaving for those who follow us....
It reminds me of the lyrics to an Al Denson song called "Be the One" and the 4Him song "For Future Generations"
What kind of world are we leaving behind for our children and generations yet unborn?
People who care about this can no longer sit on the sidelines and complain-- the media keeps pushing Beavis O'Dork and his dictatorial fascist ideas ad infinitum....
Let's hope Mr. Trump connects with the people AGAIN like he did in Minnesota and Louisianna

Beto should go find his sponsor and take in an AA meeting beforehand. Ask God to remove all his defects of character. Then make amends to Trump for being such a liar and so disrespectful. Not gonna happen.

I can't imagine why the president doesn't hold the Mother of all Rallies on the National Mall, between Constitution and Independence Avenues in D. C. Millions of patriotic Americans are itching to flood the Capital in a show of support for the president and as a tangible warning to the communists, aka democrats, within our government. Imagine the optics, if not the sheer pleasure, of being part of 3 - 5 million Americans bringing D.C., and both chambers of our shady Congress in particular, to a screeching halt.

Welcome, #5. Now we, including me, need to get involved. Join your local Republican party, volunteer, participate. I support President Trump, read hours of news each day to keep informed, but that's not enough. Too many people are uninformed and live in a 'news desert'. See CNN. (I sent a relative a link to an article regarding how much wall had been built, she said 'oh, I thought they had given up on that.' ???) We have to take action, no matter how small, to have an impact. Trump-haters live in an alternate universe. We need to 'show them the way'. It may seem scary to put yourself out there and volunteer but you will be given the tools you need to do it and be surrounded by like-minded people. I'll do my part.
