There are times during research when searching for details leaves the obviously immediate questions unanswered. This is one of those examples. Judicial Watch is hot on the trail of a State Department effort to monitor domestic political opposition.Specifically former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch, initiated a request for State Dept. officials to conduct surveillance on: Jack Posobiec, Donald Trump Jr., Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity, Michael McFaul (Obama’s ambassador to Russia), Dan Bongino, Ryan Saavedra, Rudy Giuliani, Sebastian Gorka, John Solomon, Lou Dobbs, Pamella Geller and Sara Carter. More details: (Via JW) Judicial Watch has obtained information indicating Yovanovitch may have violated laws and government regulations by ordering subordinates

Who in our government -- state department, DOJ, FBI, CIA, FISA Court -- is there to say, "Just a minute. What are you (or we) doing? I keep wondering why, three years later, the FISA Judges that were hoodwinked by the folks who signed the FISA warrant requests against Mr Page (and probably others including Gen Flynn) haven't hauled those folks to show up in their court to answer what they did. But then again, maybe they're in on the plot as well. I wish somebody would prove me otherwise.

Personally, I see a secondary pulse on this. Yes this Yovanovitch is obviously an Obama partisan who illegally utilized her position to do oppo research info on people she suspects of supporting POTUS. I see CIA/Intelligence all over this. If they were not the ones egging her on this, they certainly knew what was going on and possibly gave material support for this illegal scheme. IMHO, this is the final straw for the intelligence apparatus in this country. They ARE the Deep State, and they have declared open warfare on our POTUS and our Constitution. The CIA/FBI/NSA have all been partisanized and weaponized to do exactly what we are seeing here: illegally obtaining info on people supporting Trump all without any fear of being caught. If POTUS and Senate do not take action to rid ourselves of these traitors, then I can honestly say I fear for our President's life. Close the CIA and NSA immediately (no matter the consequences for national security) and begin to rebuild from the ground up. The FBI is a different animal being a part of Judicial, but we need to take action to root out the bad apples sooner, rather than later. This is Obama's legacy here. And until it is dealt with, we are going to continue to suffer these traitors until the worst happens.

#4, the FBI is part of the executive branch. Separate from that, my spidey sense tells me that the entire coordinated attack on DJT and others may have been run out of the Ukraine.

This is such a Constitutional catastrophe that it cannot be resolved in the Judiciary as all branches and institutions are involved. Judge Contreras who was the Flynn judge (also good buddies with Peter Strzok) was recused by the court involuntarily and replaced with Judge Sullivan and Flynn now has Sidney Powell representing him. She was outraged and is on the warpath. What do we do? I don't think we'll have any choice but follow the lesson of Judgement at Nuremberg.

This whole impeachment attempt is turning out to be an IED for the democrat/communist party. Idiot Schiff couldn't possibly help us more at this point. He is inadvertently exposing democrat corruption at every turn. And as soon as the IG report comes out and that may be by friday pointing out the lying to the FISA court there will be no putting that genie back in the bottle which maybe why cracks are beginning to surface in the Times and the MSM. They may at this point try to salvage what little credibility they have left and I stress the word "little". Bloomberg is now thinking of running, I think he will be their last ditch effort to try to stop the carnage that they all know is coming and that Pelosi was afraid of all along. She may be stupid but she isn't totally blind to the tornado that is Durham and Barr ripping along and aimed at the heart of her party.

The untimely demise of our dear President (God Forbid) will be staged as a "White Supremacist" action so that anyone questioning it would appear to be defending them. The Dems have already shown their willingness to take desperate, criminal actions.

The usurping group of FBI and DOJ officials we have called “the small group” have an established set of media operatives and outlets aligned to assist their narrative. Within the current claims of the Democrats there is a baseline action that needs to exist for any “bribery” or “undue influence” claim to exist. By most everyone’s judgment, the Senate will not vote to remove President Donald Trump from office if the House impeaches him. But what if senators could vote on impeachment by secret ballot? If they didn’t have to face backlash from constituents or the media or the president himself, who knows how many Republican senators would vote to remove? A secret impeachment ballot might sound crazy, but it’s actually quite possible.(Snip) Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has said he will immediately move to hold a trial to adjudicate the articles of impeachment if and when the Senate receives them from the House of Representatives.

A prominent CNN commentator pointed out a "problem" House Democrats have following the first public hearing in their impeachment inquiry of President Trump. U.S. diplomat Bill Taylor and State Department official George Kent were the first witnesses to offer their testimony in the open and were grilled for several hours over their knowledge of Trump's conduct with Ukraine. GOP lawmakers specifically questioned the witnesses about their previous testimony, which relied heavily on second- and third-hand knowledge. Following the hearing, CNN Chief Legal Analyst Jeffrey Toobin suggested that the vocal observation from Trump's defenders was "legitimate."
