In his latest battle with the American news media, President Trump is bringing out the heavy artillery: Marine One. Since abandoning the daily press briefing, which had devolved into an embarrassing spectacle where journalists would bully former Press Secretary Sarah Sanders, the White House now favors “chopper-pressers” where the boss interacts with the media while his helicopter idles nearby.Like his use of Twitter, Trump’s impromptu gaggles frustrate the media and enables him to control the message for the day. There is no camera on the press, only Trump.

Trump is a brilliant message-shaper and brander. The message? Trump is the Alpha-Dog, and the Press are only supernumeraries.

He's smart like that, Julie; that's why we love him. He beats the press like they stole something, all the time.

Our president is brilliant, but I'm stating the obvious.
I just get concerned that he's going to get polyps on his vocal chords or somehow ruin his voice from the strain of yelling over the helicopter blades.

The last bit is perfect:
FTA:"The media only have themselves to blame for Trump’s latest power play on the South Lawn. After the way they’ve behaved during the Trump era, many Americans would rather listen to spinning helicopter blades than the average Washington reporter anyway."
Yep.

That he can, and does, multiple times per week on many occasions, take numerous questions from a broad cross-section of reporters, on any topic they present, and answers them individually, without notes is amazing.
He doesn't stumble, mumble, or use a lot of aahs, and uumms, either.
How can anyone say he's not fit for office?
They may not like is style, his tone, or directness. And, Harry Reid even considers Trump to be a smart man, per his comments recently to David Axlrod.

Trump's ability to stage things just the way he wants them is amazing. The media egos are ignored and belittled which is driving them nuts. They thought they could bully Trump's press people and Trump essentially told them, "You're fired!" by taking away their platform. This lesson has been drilled home repeatedly, disrespect Trump at your very great peril. You would think they would learn but they are apparently uneducable.

We learn so much about what is happening from our President. Why filter the truth thru a bunch of lying news-shapers?
I love the way the President points, “Say it!” and interjects when some (many) questions are stupid. The press sounds like a feeding frenzy behind the cameras. Nice!

Aw, let that gaggle of liars and prima donnas whine. No one needs them anyway. Just read PDJT’s tweets and watch his speeches and you can make your own assessments free of the bigotry of the “journalist” feeders at the Washington trough. I love our president and yet will probably never have the honor of getting within 500 ft. of him, with or without helicopter blades whirring so these doofus’ complaints fall on deaf ears.

Boo freakin' hoo. The members of the press gaggle feel they are not being portrayed as the dignified pillars of the press as they deserve. What a hoot! I'd watch the tarmac or the lawn where any gaggle of geese gathers. You could step in something nasty-ish.
