Sen. Lindsey Graham on Friday claimed vindication for his harsh criticism of the White House’s foreign policy in Syria, urging President Donald Trump to “change course while you still can.”
The South Carolina Republican has been perhaps the most vocal GOP opponent of Trump’s decision last weekend to allow the Turkish military to invade northern Syria, where it has engaged the U.S.-allied Kurdish fighters who helped quash Islamic State forces in the region.

“Every concern I had about President Trump’s Syria decision is coming true in spades,” Graham wrote on Twitter. “The reemergence of ISIS is on the way. And if

Lindsey can't hold one rat accountable here, but he can run a war in the MidEast. Politico seems all hawkish now, instead of the pro Arab Spring support the militants stance it had during the previous President. We have given the Kurds plenty of weapons and money, but eventually we had to stop serving up American lives for their war. Turkey is supposedly a NATO ally. This will make it clear who they are without the hypocrisy of American deaths at the hands of pretend friends.

Senator Graham fails to explain the compelling national interest in spending more money and blood in Syria. Graham can introduce a bill in Congress declaring war on ISIS in Syria if he wishes. He won't because he's all talk and no action. I'm with President Trump. Additionally, we need to get out of Iraq and Afghanistan in the near future.

I do like when Donald Trump says that America shouldn't be policing the world and agree with #1's comments.

No.
OUT of this mess. We can't tell who is on what side, and there is no goal which is identified which we can accomplish.

The children of the leftists do not join the military, do not die in these wars. We have three young men in our family who have fought in these most recent wars, only two came home alive. These wars are destroying our best and brightest for NO GOOD REASONS. Policing the sewer that the middle east is will be impossible. Helping some friends with economic aid, OK that can be useful, perhaps.
No more dead Americans fighting wars in other countries, unless there are clear goals, such as "totally depopulate Afghanistan". I could get behind that one.

#5 I'm sorry for your loss. I have a nephew who did a tour in Iraq and a tour in Afghanistan and, fortunately, he came home relatively unscathed.
I'm really getting tired of the "someone" in "someone needs to do something" being the US Military all the freaking time. These people have been fighting each other since Biblical times and our involvement over the last decades has done absolutely NOTHING to change that - let them work it out for themselves.

Thank you, #6. Losing our Marine officer has left a permanent hole in our family, he was a really wonderful young man. USNA, aviator, doing his ground tour.
Enough.

Clearly the Republican “chicken hawks” who always want another war are hyping up the withdrawal of actually about 50 US soldiers who were deployed near the Turkish borderline with Kurdish military elements who have been fighting Turkey since before the First World era. Once it became apparent to the President that Turkey could not be deterred through diplomatic means, was going to mount an immediate big military ground attack through that area targeting the Kurds, and knowing that about 50 US soldiers strung out along that border would not be able to protect themselves, and taking into account the fortunes of ground war, that a lot of those US soldiers could have been killed, so the President ordered them to withdraw out of the immediate area.
That Presidential order did not involve other larger numbers of US troops who are deployed in Syria to support the Kurds and certainly does not involve withdrawing all US troops from Syria as the leftist and liberal Democrats and their media minions are misrepresenting to the American people.

If 2,000 of the most dangerous ISIS fighters escape the Chirkin prison as a result of current Turkish shelling apparently aimed at knocking down its walls, we will have one fine mess on our hands.

We've been over there long enough, if we don't get out now it will never end.

Why do Americans have to put our people at risk by getting involved in other people's fights? If they're fighting for land, how is that in our interest? I was with GWB after 911, but he lost me when we never seemed to win after the people pulled down the statutes in Iraq. It became another never-ending war where everyday during the Bush administration, we got a rolling count of how many military people were killed-some by the very people we were there to "help." Then, when o-dog came along, suddenly crickets, and yet he got us involved in far more than what was in our interest. No! I'm done. I support a war on our borders and support of Israel. Europe and the Middle East are on their own as far as I'm concerned.

I'm hoping (and thinking) that this misdirection. I'm hoping he confessed his evil deeds w/no name(McCain) and is reassuring the swamp he's still on their side. But as usual what I think doesn't matter. What matters is that Trump KNOWS one way or the other.
