Biden: President Obama 'Gave
Me a Kiss' for Leading on Gay Marriage

At a CNN town hall on "LGBTQ Equality" Thursday night, Vice President Joe Biden recalled that in May 2012, just months before the November election that would give Barack Obama a second term, he told NBC's "Meet the Press" that he was "absolutely comfortable" with homosexual marriage. Biden was credited with forcing then-President Obama to publicly admit his support for such marriages, amid concerns that such a stance might alienate voters. However, far from being angry with Biden, Obama "gave me a kiss," Biden told CNN Thursday night. "I swear to God." Moderator Anderson Cooper asked Biden, "I'm wondering in that moment, what made you say that at that time?

This will win him brownie points with the gay crowd. They will probably name a cocktail after him. How about the Butterfly Biden Wall Banger? In any case, I think he's just showing that he will say anything to get them cheering for him. Screams and cheers from the mindless set, sort of like what you hear from the audience on Ellen's show.

Leading as in a Judas goat. They sent the doddering old fool onto the Sunday shows to gauge public reaction. But, as we never tire of pointing out, 'gay marriage' is strictly an artifice created by the ideologically corrupt Supreme Court. A case from an innocuous heartland state was turbo-boosted through the court system where it could be the basis for a decision that had already been made. Obama has never engaged in a fair fight (his Senate elections, Russiagate, IRS scandal) which means he knew the outcome. But, of course, that didn't stop him from claiming credit for something that had nothing to do with him.

The economy: Trump's greatest asset,

Democrats must approach President Trump’s economy the way porcupines approach romance: Very carefully. They must attack it, but their attacks risk making them more vulnerable. Yet, even if they try to ignore it, they know it will be turned against them. Their predicament goes beyond being “damned-if-you-do-and-damned-if-you-don’t,” to “damned if I know.” History shows no issue works like a good economy when it comes to an incumbent president’s reelection. Over the last century, elected presidents seeking a second term are 11-3. Of the three elected incumbents who lost reelection — Hoover, Carter and George H.W. Bush — the economy suffered negative annual growth within a year of that election.

Rates of syphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia infection have continued to rise, according to the Centers for Disease Control. Both total numbers of infections and per capita rates of the three STDs continued their more-or-less uninterrupted climb since the turn of the millennium. In total, rates of infection are at their highest level since the CDC began tracking chlamydia infections in 1984. Not all of this increase is attributable to an actual bump in the number of individuals infected. Newsom also signed a companion bill allowing the gun violence restraining orders to last one and five years, although the gun owners could petition to end those restrictions earlier.
