Appearing Monday on MSNBC, former chief of staff to President George W. Bush Andrew Card expressed support for the House Democrats’ impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump over his telephone call with the leader of Ukraine. A transcript is as follows: HALLIE JACKSON: Are Republicans cohesive enough in there messaging [on impeachment]? Do you that’s going to help or hurt the president? ANDREW CARD: I think it’s the president’s duty not to speak in hyperbole. I actually took his comment about China as a little bit frivolous and baiting.(Snip) I’ve called him a carnival barker. He wants you to come in the freakshow.

Who cares what Card thinks, he was part of the wimpy Bush crew that the nasty Democrats kicked into the dirt 24/7 for years without any effective response.

Andy Card is no longer significant. I meant, no longer credible like the entire Bush family.

I took Card's comments as unnecessary, frivolous, jealousy, and bitterness. These type of comments do nothing to promote success or harmony within our republic, and I suggest Card keep his dislikes to himself, and enjoy his retirement.

I have been able to keep my "No More Bushes" promise since my last vote for a Bush in 2004.
(I live in Texas, and I've been able to vote against Nephew Bush [Jeb's son] since then and got to choose someone other than Jeb in the 2016 primary, our favorite son, Ted Cruz.)

The Bush's don't want the corruption out in the open, they're crooked just like the Obama's and McCain's.

Apparently George's reputation of not accomplishing much must be preserved at all costs. PT makes Georgie and Barry presidencies sealed in infamy as complete incompetents and self-serving jerks.

Three grammatical errors in the first paragraph does not encourage further reading. The Bush era was very disappointing but we felt compelled to defend the man because we once thought he was one of us.

What did you expect from the Bush bunch? They're no friends of Trump and the Bush family are no friends of this country.

What is Card's opinion of Obama giving Iran billions of $$$ for ???? What's his opinion of the one sided 35 million $$ Mueller investigation? What's his opinion of the fake media & fake republicans constant trashing Trump? What's his opinion of the lowest unemployment in history? I guess the statement Bush made about not trashing a sitting president was only meant for Obama.

Andy Card is playing the same role as other "moderate" Republicans. His public statements are to show it's okay to be a "moderate" Republican and support PDT's potential impeachment...i.e. these going-nowhere continuous investigations. There will be others...like the lovely Laura Bush. Bet me.

Did Andy Card also vote for Hillary Clinton like George Bush did? A real reporter needs to ask him.
