I Spent a Year as a Trans Man.
Doctors Failed Me at Every Turn.

Original Article

I can’t wrap my head around all that I’ve done to myself in the last two years, much less the “help” that some health care professionals have done to me. Two years ago, I was a healthy, beautiful girl heading toward high school graduation. Before long, I turned into an overweight, pre-diabetic nightmare of a transgender man. I won’t place the full blame on health care providers, because I should have known better. But they sure helped me do a lot of harm to myself—and they made a hefty buck doing it.

Comments:

What a horror. In a sane society therapists and doctors who push these kids into taking hormones and worse without ever questioning whether this is good for them or harmful would at a minimum have their licences taken away and at a maximum spend significant time in prison.

Poor girl. This is nuts! And the majority of it is to create another group, the Left can exploit and terrorize.

The simple answer is that it is biologically impossible to change your gender. It certainly isn't going to happen with hormone treatments. Or having you penis removed. This is a lie and it is being sold to people who are mentally ill. The rest of us are being told that we must accept this as normal. It isn't. Bringing children into this is child abuse. The parents think they are remarkably enlightened and 'woke'. They are actually seriously uninformed and/or misinformed about the consequences of what they are doing to their kids. This practice should be criminalized and the medical professionals should be prosecuted.

If Sydney lived in California, or, strangely enough, Erie, Pennsylvania, and the therapist had pressed Sydney at all about her reasons for sex change, the therapist would have violated a California law prohibiting such therapy. (The Erie, Pa City Council passed a resolution banning any such therapy, rather than working on Erie government's financial mess.) Perhaps Sydney, on her way back to female, could use some therapy to find out why she is sexually attracted to girls. But such therapy may also be illegal.

Doctors who willing participate in transgender therapy & surgery are guilty of making monstrosities. No child is capable of making a decision like this-parents need to bring the hammer down and find a therapist who will address their child's mental illness.

I think the doctors who perform these Frankenstein surgeries and supply the hormones to assist should be throttled or worse. They are the ones who make these monstrosities out of God's unique creations, which is each and everyone of us, including the ones that perform abortions. If God in all His Greatness had wanted a third gender (Or more) He would have created them.

Reminds me of that margarine commercial many years ago... "It's not nice to fool Mother Nature." Sadly, in a world of "Have it your way" and "I, I, I, and me, me, me" there comes a point when messing with things biological can go pear-shaped real quick. My advice to people who were, "born in a body that does not support my gender identification" Consider celibacy... seriously.

Good grief, posters, have some sympathy! The girl was confused and horribly misled. She received no guidance. Thank goodness for her grandfather and her mom , who stood by her. She may be gay - that is her choice - but for the medical community to rashly allow life-altering changes is ridiculous. But it is the political climate that dictates it.

We consider a person who starves themselves into a skeleton to be suffering a mental condition. And someone who cuts themselves daily with razor blades is in that same boat. Mental illness. Or what about hoarders who believe that there is no problem with hoarding food that has expired 10 years ago? Or mice living in your sugar bowl is acceptable, and sleeping on a feces and urine soaked mattress on the floor is normal. And don't most people keep open food cans and dirty dishes on their counters years? This is obviously a mental condition which requires therapy and medical help. But we think it is "normal and acceptable" for a man to have his penis cut off and breast implants because he "thinks" he is a female on the "inside"? This young woman obviously was having problems accepting the fact she was a lesbian. So turning herself into a "man" would make that stigma acceptable. This is a mental illness pure and simple.

The poor girl. Thank God she had a grandfather who loved her enough to talk some sense to her. The way things are going, doctors who might want to will be unable to (California). At least she didn't have disfiguring surgery. I grew up as a tomboy although I always knew I was heterosexual. I am happy I grew up when I did, if I was around now, I might be under a lot of pressure to transition to male.

Clearly, she didn't think Almighty God wasn't good enough for her. That can happen when you mess with creation. Most all teens wonder about their own sexuality as soon as they find out there are ''alternative'' people out there. I know teenage boys that dislike having flowers on the dinnerware! They get over it.

Over the years, I have known girly men and manly women, who reflected themselves in their clothing choices. The ones I knew simply carried on that way and never gave a thought to surgically alter themselves (this was in the fifties and sixties). My advice to those individuals, now, who have sexual dysphoria is to just carry on living your lives being different.

Awful story. At least she had some sensitivity to that inner voice of common sense telling her something was wrong with this ghoulish fad of trying to be the opposite sex by pumping one's body with hormones to make it happen. If you're a girl, but you think you're a boy, but to make it so you fill up on opposite sex hormones? and then proceed to mutilate your body to match what you think you are? It's so twisted and bizarre and sick. Compounding the tragedy is that the Left insists that real therapy is immoral, or something, therapy which might help a person accept their bodies, their real sex, and at least attempt to find out what happened to that girl to make her think she's a lesbian. (most had been sexually assaulted as children) There's just no way a person can KNOW what it's like to be the opposite sex. They might "feel" that they know, but that is not real. I hope Sydney can use her ordeal to help others, and even more so, to push back on all the so-called "experts" and medical and political hacks and leeches feeding off the confused misery of people in this increasingly anchorless, a-moral, no, ANTI-moral, Godless world.

Trump’s Middle East peace initiatives

Had Trump remained president, his legacy would have included making true peace in the Middle East. This would have encompassed Sunni Arab nations laying down arms as to Israel, while Iran would have been rendered inconsequential – and, perhaps, the beleaguered Iranian people might have been able to eject the mullahs. With Biden, though, Obama pulls the strings, which means wooing the mullahs, being hostile to Israel, and denigrating the Saudis. Nevertheless, some amazing Saudi outreach to Israel means Trump’s Middle East peace plans still matter. Trump’s genius in terms of the Middle East was to ignore the Palestinians into oblivion.

Governor of South Dakota Kristi Noem made headlines in 2020 for keeping her state open during the COVID-19 outbreak and opposing Faucian dictates about masks, stay-at-home orders, and church closures. To this, conservatives applauded — and rightly so. But does holding the line during a pandemic in a state with less than 900 thousand people — about the size of Charlotte, North Carolina — now warrant the frenetic swell of support for Noem among conservatives to be the next vice president or even president? Absolutely not — especially at time when the fight for constitutional conservative values is more important than ever.

My husband and I have been Amazon users for about 15 years. It seemed fun, easy, and exciting. And then it wasn’t fun, easy, and exciting any more, because Amazon became evil—and I learned how evil they had really been all along. Using it to indulge my own greed and materialism was one problem. Amazon’s use of its market power is another. Both are a big deal.

In ancient Greece, they warned that excessive pride and arrogance will without fail lead to punishment. In ancient Rome, slaves rode behind conquerors whispering in their ears “memento mori” -- you are mortal -- meaning that both fame and you die. As I detail, I think it’s because others with the same greed for power and fame in his own ranks are vying for the same unearned glory he once held.

In America, class warfare is often disguised as culture war, and culture war is often cloaked by talk of race. But underneath it all, the class warfare is still there. Whether accidentally or intentionally, America’s upper classes seem to wind up harming the working class and small businesses, always in the name of some high-minded cause. On immigration, for example, the go-to move is to call people who object to open borders racists and nativists. But what’s behind it? As Biden economic adviser Jared Bernstein commented: “A tight job market pressures employers to boost wage offers . . . One equally surefire way to short-circuit this useful dynamic

The Republican Party’s leaders still don’t get it. That’s the big takeaway from a newly-released strategy document from the largest Super PAC backing Republican House candidates. The Congressional Leadership Fund spent $140 million in the 2020 cycle, and could very well spend even more in 2022. It will hold enormous sway over what candidates are recruited in next year’s House races, and what their message is. Republicans substantially outperformed expectations in 2020’s House elections. The Royal Family was left reeling this morning after Meghan Markle tearfully revealed that the stress of royal life made her suicidal when she was five months pregnant, claimed Archie was denied the title of prince because he is mixed-race and said Kate Middleton made her cry before she married Harry in a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey. The couple also chose to reveal that they are having a baby girl to the tens of millions of people watching the CBS show broadcast in the US before accusing the Royal Family of racism and revealing the deep rift 'Megxit' has caused with Prince Charles and Prince William.

Rep. Steve Cohen vowed to renew the push to remove former FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover’s name from the bureau’s downtown Washington headquarters, according to an interview released Monday. Appearing on Yahoo! News’ Skullduggery podcast, the Tennessee Democrat said the effort is getting a fresh look after the release of a new movie highlighting the FBI’s secret program to discredit civil rights activists. The Washington Times in 2019 first reported Democrats’ bid to strip the longtime FBI director’s name from the bureau’s headquarters. Mr. Cohen said the impetus to revive the bid is the new movie, “Judas and the Black Messiah.” The movie details

“There must have been a moment, at the beginning, when we could have said –-no. But somehow we missed it.” Tom Stoppard The millions of Americans who were paying attention throughout the 2020 election campaign all became painfully aware of the fact that Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities were slipping and slipping fast. His wife, as the person closest to him, should have been the one to call the campaign quits in order to reduce stress on the man. Instead, apparently so anxious to become the First Lady by any means necessary, Mrs. Biden continued to push her failing husband’s campaign forward as if he were mentally qualified.
