I can’t wrap my head around all that I’ve done to myself in the last two years, much less the “help” that some health care professionals have done to me.
Two years ago, I was a healthy, beautiful girl heading toward high school graduation. Before long, I turned into an overweight, pre-diabetic nightmare of a transgender man.
I won’t place the full blame on health care providers, because I should have known better. But they sure helped me do a lot of harm to myself—and they made a hefty buck doing it.

Poor girl.
This is nuts! And the majority of it is to create another group, the Left can exploit and terrorize.

The simple answer is that it is biologically impossible to change your gender. It certainly isn't going to happen with hormone treatments. Or having you penis removed. This is a lie and it is being sold to people who are mentally ill. The rest of us are being told that we must accept this as normal. It isn't. Bringing children into this is child abuse. The parents think they are remarkably enlightened and 'woke'. They are actually seriously uninformed and/or misinformed about the consequences of what they are doing to their kids. This practice should be criminalized and the medical professionals should be prosecuted.

If Sydney lived in California, or, strangely enough, Erie, Pennsylvania, and the therapist had pressed Sydney at all about her reasons for sex change, the therapist would have violated a California law prohibiting such therapy. (The Erie, Pa City Council passed a resolution banning any such therapy, rather than working on Erie government's financial mess.)
Perhaps Sydney, on her way back to female, could use some therapy to find out why she is sexually attracted to girls. But such therapy may also be illegal.

Doctors who willing participate in transgender therapy & surgery are guilty of making monstrosities. No child is capable of making a decision like this-parents need to bring the hammer down and find a therapist who will address their child's mental illness.

I think the doctors who perform these Frankenstein surgeries and supply the hormones to assist should be throttled or worse. They are the ones who make these monstrosities out of God's unique creations, which is each and everyone of us, including the ones that perform abortions. If God in all His Greatness had wanted a third gender (Or more) He would have created them.

Reminds me of that margarine commercial many years ago... "It's not nice to fool Mother Nature."
Sadly, in a world of "Have it your way" and "I, I, I, and me, me, me" there comes a point when messing with things biological can go pear-shaped real quick.
My advice to people who were, "born in a body that does not support my gender identification" Consider celibacy... seriously.

It's unconscionable that "doctors" and "therapists" are encouraging this, not doing their jobs - they're going along with the lastest fad -- they should lose their licenses and be exposed.

Good grief, posters, have some sympathy! The girl was confused and horribly misled. She received no guidance. Thank goodness for her grandfather and her mom , who stood by her. She may be gay - that is her choice - but for the medical community to rashly allow life-altering changes is ridiculous. But it is the political climate that dictates it.

We consider a person who starves themselves into a skeleton to be suffering a mental condition. And someone who cuts themselves daily with razor blades is in that same boat. Mental illness. Or what about hoarders who believe that there is no problem with hoarding food that has expired 10 years ago? Or mice living in your sugar bowl is acceptable, and sleeping on a feces and urine soaked mattress on the floor is normal. And don't most people keep open food cans and dirty dishes on their counters years? This is obviously a mental condition which requires therapy and medical help. But we think it is "normal and acceptable" for a man to have his penis cut off and breast implants because he "thinks" he is a female on the "inside"? This young woman obviously was having problems accepting the fact she was a lesbian. So turning herself into a "man" would make that stigma acceptable. This is a mental illness pure and simple.

The poor girl. Thank God she had a grandfather who loved her enough to talk some sense to her. The way things are going, doctors who might want to will be unable to (California). At least she didn't have disfiguring surgery.
I grew up as a tomboy although I always knew I was heterosexual. I am happy I grew up when I did, if I was around now, I might be under a lot of pressure to transition to male.

Clearly, she didn't think Almighty God wasn't good enough for her. That can happen when you mess with creation. Most all teens wonder about their own sexuality as soon as they find out there are ''alternative'' people out there. I know teenage boys that dislike having flowers on the dinnerware! They get over it.

Over the years, I have known girly men and manly women, who reflected themselves in their clothing choices. The ones I knew simply carried on that way and never gave a thought to surgically alter themselves (this was in the fifties and sixties). My advice to those individuals, now, who have sexual dysphoria is to just carry on living your lives being different.

Good read.
Too bad so many race ahead without even researching it far enough to read one article about regret.
Big warning sign was that the clinic only had YOUNG people waiting (in dress up.)
If this was a successful concept instead of a shady scam to get insurance cash from fools, there would have been people of all ages in the clinics.

Two decades ago my oldest daughter had several friends who were lesbian, or so they said. Now all are married to men and have families. So why did they think they were lesbian? Because it was stylish and because the school encouraged it.

Awful story. At least she had some sensitivity to that inner voice of common sense telling her something was wrong with this ghoulish fad of trying to be the opposite sex by pumping one's body with hormones to make it happen.
If you're a girl, but you think you're a boy, but to make it so you fill up on opposite sex hormones? and then proceed to mutilate your body to match what you think you are? It's so twisted and bizarre and sick.
Compounding the tragedy is that the Left insists that real therapy is immoral, or something, therapy which might help a person accept their bodies, their real sex, and at least attempt to find out what happened to that girl to make her think she's a lesbian. (most had been sexually assaulted as children)
There's just no way a person can KNOW what it's like to be the opposite sex. They might "feel" that they know, but that is not real.
I hope Sydney can use her ordeal to help others, and even more so, to push back on all the so-called "experts" and medical and political hacks and leeches feeding off the confused misery of people in this increasingly anchorless, a-moral, no, ANTI-moral, Godless world.

Sydney, you always were a girl, but by facing reality, you have become a real person. You will now evaluate political and cultural sh**t by your own reasoning and research. That's the good side of an awful experience.

Thoroughly impressed with this young lady. She is very brave.
I never went through my parents divorcing and my family breaking up. I know such things can leave horrible scars. I'm so sorry for her that our society has embraced the gaystapo tactics that result from genderphobia. And good for her loving grandfather being there for her. I hope others can find a kind patient loving soul like him.

#12, perhaps we would have more sympathy if the alphabet crowd wasn’t constantly trying to shove their mental illnesses down our throats, demanding not only acceptance but approval and celebration, and call us Nazis if we refuse to take part in their fantasies.

As we suspected, the people who enthusiastically support the transgender lifestyle like it much better than the trans people themselves. There is no longer any doubt that it is a mental illness and preying upon the young and confused is criminal.

Long sad story. She should have been given counceling to stop with the perverse fixation on women, and started seeing some normal men.
The left is a horror show, top to bottom, and this poor girl, once a pretty young lady is now an pretty nasty looking, tattooed freak.

#34, I didn't read all the way to the end, but I didn't get that she had any actual surgery, just the horrible-enough hormones. Hopefully all her female parts are still there.
But her head is still broken with this homosexual stuff.

That's a long sad story but I hear her blaming everyone else. Thank goodness grandpa had some sense. In the old days, things were 'fads'. I understand the pressure these kids feel, but everyday you get up and make choices. Frankly, schools are out of control. Home life isn't much better for some, and in many homes, kids rule the roost.

What a horror. In a sane society therapists and doctors who push these kids into taking hormones and worse without ever questioning whether this is good for them or harmful would at a minimum have their licences taken away and at a maximum spend significant time in prison.
