Op-ed views and opinions expressed are solely those of the author.1) Everything we need to know about global warming can be learned from a 16-year-old girl with Asperger’s and a famously ignorant former bartender who was just elected to Congress. 2) Of all the people we could have influencing children in our society, it makes the most sense to have drag queens reading to kids in libraries. 3) If you like your doctor or your healthcare plan, you can keep them AND it will cost $2,500 less per year for a family! Trust us! 4) Only bad people engage in cultural appropriation, which is why

I must agree with #4 on the list. Everyone in the world must immediately stop appropriating Western culture and return to their mud huts! Indians can live in teepees or whatever they can find in nature. Africans can live in huts or whatever. All environmentalists should cease and desist from using anything made with technology or oil. etc. etc.

Liberal Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey is trying to extort money from the Trump Campaign to pay for an outlandish security bill to hold a campaign rally in the Twin Cities this week. This is a common tactic of the left to deny Trump supporters access to venues for their events and gatherings. Of course, the violent left NEVER have to go through this same torment.Mayor Frey is quite bold though for pulling this on the Republican President of the United States. The Justice Department should sue him for harassment.

The media tells us regularly about President Donald Trump’s exaggerations and overstatements. Some keep count on what they call “lies” and they number these in the thousands. Trump’s hyperbole is well understood especially when he claims to be the “best” or “greatest” on any subject (such as the crowd at the inaugural). However, these kind of statements are not material lies that adversely affect policy or citizens (such as the promise that President Obama assured would allow us to keep our doctor or insurance plan). The same cannot be said about statements from many of the Democratic opposition. Unfortunately, the media’s prejudice is demonstrated

On Monday, CNN advertised a new site that would be available for millennials to complain how their lives were harder than their parents. CNN tweeted, “Are you a millennial who feels like it’s harder to get ahead than it was for your parents? The data shows you’re not alone. Tell us your story at MillennialStories@cnn.com.” (Tweet) As journalist Jesse Singal has pointed out, there are two views of just which age group constitutes millennials. Singal noted, “I was born in 1983, which means I’m part of the generation, whether one uses the Census Bureau’s definition (born 1982-2000) or Pew’s (about 1981-1997).”

The campaign mentioned a change in a New York law twice as an example of good news for Team Trump.“New York is a big one,” a Trump campaign official told reporters. “Governor Cuomo signed into law Senate Bill 6374, which eliminated congressional district caucuses on the Republican side and implemented a campaign-submitted slate as the method of delegate selection.”

You could wonder after Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) was disgusted by moderator Chuck Todd's "very biased opening" segment on Meet the Press, and Todd openly fought with him and wouldn't let him finish a point as Johnson tried to tell him what he should ask John Brennan later in the show. Brennan received gooey sympathy. Todd moaned and groaned and then said “I have no idea why Fox News conspiracy propaganda stuff is popping up on here. I have no idea why we’re going here." Genteel Republicans like Mitt Romney complain about Donald Trump’s unpresidential behavior but how else does he combat the dirty left? Only a barbarian could defy the liberal establishment as he has done. Imagine if Romney were president, trying to be dignified and patrician. They’d eat him alive. Unless, of course, he did nothing to block their agenda, in which case he’d be left alone like all the other cowardly roll-over Republicans. The American people chose a barbarian for president because they knew only a barbarian could drain the Washington swamp. Republicans have questioned, and continue to question, whether the Obama intelligence community used foreigners -- from Australia, Italy and the United Kingdom -- to spy on the Trump campaign. Did they outsource spying, in other words. That is part of what Connecticut Attorney General John Durham is investigating, at the request of Attorney General William Barr. But in a very sympathetic interview with former CIA Director John Brennan, NBC's Chuck Todd never asked difficult questions about the origins of the Trump-Russia investigation and Brennan's possible role in it.

Ed Stack, the chairman and CEO of Dick’s Sporting Goods, said in a new interview that his company destroyed $5 million worth of semi-automatic rifles after removing them from store shelves last year. Dick’s stopped selling AR-15s after the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in 2012 but took it a step further after the 2018 Parkland high school shooting, raising the gun purchase age to 21 and banning the sale of high-capacity magazines and assault-style rifles. It was a highly controversial move that Mr. Stack said cost the company “pretty close” to $250 million.

For every major problem facing the United States, her campaign slogan says she “has a plan for that.” Warren is running on a myriad of big government programs including Medicare for all, student loan forgiveness, and free college. Los Angeles — It’s been three years since the Brexit referendum and the election of Donald Trump sent shock waves throughout the world. Those events in Britain and the U.S. symbolized a broader revolt against elites by frustrated voters in other countries. The populist revolt was a reaction to elites’ reckless and anti-democratic push for ever greater integration. Many critics have tried to paint these uprisings in scary terms by branding them as rooted in racism or xenophobia. I myself part company with the more radical populist movements on some issues — especially those that want to shut down legal as well as illegal immigration. But it’s unarguable that many

Everyone’s on drugs here . . . and stealing,” an ex-felon named Shaku explains as he rips open a blue Popsicle wrapper with his teeth. Shaku is standing in an encampment of tents, trash, and bicycles, across from San Francisco’s Glide Memorial Church. Another encampment-dweller lights a green crack pipe and passes it around. A few paces down the street, a gaunt man swipes a credit card through a series of parking meters to see if it has been reported stolen yet. For the last three decades, San Francisco has conducted a real-life experiment in what happens when a society stops enforcing bourgeois norms of behavior.
