Democrats believe they can impeach President Donald John Trump with impunity. They figure it will be like Clinton's one-day trial and acquittal, which would allow them to scream injustice from now until forever.
President Trump should extract the full price for their farce. Whilst the attorney general and inspector general continue investigating Hillarygate and Muellergate, President Trump should have fun with this by forcing Democrats to make their case to the American people.
Just like they did with Clarence Thomas.
Just like they did with Brett Kavanaugh.
That means putting the whistle blower on the stand. The Constitution requires the accuser to face the accused.

Trump is a 100x smarter than the left. That is why we elected him. We knew the country was lost unless we elected someone very smart, a full out fighter, and someone that could talk as fast as a NYer and handle the media. That gave us Trump, who has had to be superman, as he hasn't had much help.

Absolutely! The Senate shouldn't do a little organ grinder's monkey show. It should allow the full power of the US goobernment to come down on the Democrats. Make them bleed for a change. And do it for three months leading up to the election. And call all the 'moderate' Dems to testify and let them sit in the hallways for a couple of weeks before the election.

I do like Mr. Surber's columns, but his comments are difficult to follow due to so many "Anonymous" commenters. He should require a unique commenter User ID.

Yes, Mr. Surber, I heard that today on talk radio.
The Sixth Amendment to the Constitution tells us that the Accused MUST be faced by the Accuser.

RE #3, most of the Anonymouses are only one Anonymous, who is anti-Trump and a very nasty troll. DS lets him have at it, apparently choosing to let the other commenters there - who have come to know him - have at him.

It isn't rocket surgery, #3. People who post ''anonymous'' replies are chickens who can only scratch at a grain or two here and there. In most cases the chickens are anti-Trump Dems, who pay no dues to any organization.

President Trump is smarter because he is truthful. Not perfect but he is truthful. It is easier to keep track of your story that way!

The democrats have yet to prove that they even have a whistleblower and not another Balsey-Ford with an imaginary story.

Everyone from the President himself, Don, Jr to Manafort, Popadopolous (sp?) and too many others caught in the Mueller and now this ridiculous impeachment web, needs to civilly sue the leakers (Lawfare), Clinton and obama Foundations, the DNC, Donna Brazile, Shep, and the news readers at CNN, MSNBC for damages.
We still don’t know what concrete charge our President has committed, that rises to impeachment. The nebulous statement that he has done or said things beneath his office (like telling the truth and draining the Swamp?) is a waste of our time, bandwidth and our taxpayer dollars.

Removal of the dims from the House will be a good start. But, the AG and the IG must act so that criminal proceedings against those dim seditionists follows. Make Obie and Billary pay. Make the dim party pay dearly. Make the msm pay. Make Soros pay. Make the deep state pay. Romney, you listening.

But, if you listen to Charles Grassley, or other Republicans, they say we must, at all cost, keep the Whistleblower(s) protected. Nobody should ever push to find out who they actually are. THAT'S what we're working against. I say, if you are so worried about what the President is saying, or doing, that you leak your findings to someone and call them a Whistleblower, then you darn sure better show your face to the man you're trying to put out of office!

Democrats have become a threat to Americans on their own soil. We know this because they're STILL trying to undo an election they couldn't even rig right.
Their hostility toward President Trump is bad enough. Their hostility toward the American citizens who put him in the Oval Office is even worse. It's dangerous.
I hope every American who has been called deplorable, racist, bigot, etc. by the left vows to show up at the polls. Repay their appalling disrespect by voting them out of office. We can do better.

Surber notwithstanding, please tell me once, just once, when the Senate Republicans did NOT fall down, roll over and poop themselves on EVERY issue since 1995. Just give me once when they ALL stood up for the Constitution without going "bipartisan" (for Rio Lindans, that means caving to Marxists) and giving the Marxists something with which to pummel the Constitution either at the time or in the future. Crickets, I know.
So, if you think the Senate republicans are NOT going to absolutely cave, with of course Ms Lindsey doing a Kavanaugh-like "I'm a conservative, no really, I am" Goudy impression of furled eyebrow "tough talk" with ZERO actions, then you have a herd of purple unicorns pooping Skittles that you need to pet. Grassley has already caved. Mitch has already caved. The Marxists only need 23 bed wetting Republican senators to vote to remove Trump. I'm guessing that's a snap what with black mail information on most of them and the Marxist press making up stories (like the made up impeachment stories against Trump) on about thirty GOP senators, they'll fold like the cheap suits they ALL are (dangling participles included).

What we are seeing here is another serial-chain socialist tactic, from one of their playbooks, "constant and never ending pressure". They obviously don't know the concept of backfires, don't understand they set themselves back with each failure. All the socialists are doing is shortening the fuse to a coming grand implosion.

Great article but it won't go down that way. Republicans are spineless. President Trump is the only one fighting the left with a few Republicans against this sea of enemies. I've said this before going straight after Obama and Hillary is not necessary. Those two weren't clever or smart enough to pull off or plan this coup. Prosecute the main players and all road will lead to top and that is O and H. Burn all the planners of the coup first and drain the swamp so this will never happen again.
The only statement I beg to differ is Obama a 'professor'. Obama is nothing but a low IQ street idiot until I see real proof the idiot knew Constitutional Law I'll just doubt it.

Regarding 'Make them Pay',
Here in Mississippi we have an upcoming election for Governor.
Tate Reeves is the Republican candidate, and Jim Hood is the Democrat candidate.
I wrote to Jim Hood a couple of days ago and told him that, although he seems like a decent fellow, he is hanging around with the wrong crowd.
I told him that after the nastiness and lies of the Democrats in Congress, that I will NEVER EVER EVER vote for a Democrat again..... and that includes Jim Hood.
