We battlecons are torn over the Democrats’ decision to be dumb enough to double-down on impeaching the President after three years of non-stop humiliation. Crusty Bob Mueller was a bust, their hero Michael Avenatti is looking at hard time in every sense of the word, and they were stunned to find that a huge portion of the American people thought it was pretty cool to have a POTUS who could score with Playboy Playmates.
On the one hand, it’s bad because this impeachment garbage is bad for the country. The damage it is doing to our institutions – really, that our institutions are doing to themselves in their shameful service

Just to be clear. I am not one of those people who thought Donald Trump to be cool because he could score with Playboy Playmates. That doesn't sit well with me. I voted for Donald Trump because of his campaign slogan, Make America Great Again. Initially, I would have voted for Ben Carson or Scott Walker. I do not like what Hillary stands for - her slogan was all about her.
We went through three years of inquisition because of her and now we may have to slog through more inquisition. Enough.

When Donald Trump won on election night in November 2016, the only folks who were more distraught than Hillary Clinton and her entourage, were the platoons of so-called conservatives (NEVER-TRUMPERS) who despised Trump because he didn’t fit their vision. The Never Trumper chorus includes many of the contributors at NRO, like Goldberg and French. Other Conservatives, like Bill Kristol remain avid Trump haters, and their political commentary almost always includes something negative about the POTUS.
From 2017 - 2019, the Republicans controlled both houses of the Congress. They proved that they were inefficient, inept, scattered, self-serving, and incompetent. They were all surprised by the Trump victory, and were totally unprepared to actually govern. They made a sad spectacle.
The only thing that could have eclipsed the failure of the Republicans in the last Congress, is the depravity of the democrats in the present Congress. They are not even pretending to be legislators. Rather they are lynch mob, elected by other progressives for the sole purpose of reversing the 2016 election.
These democrats are so overwhelmed by their own hate, that they would intentionally enable criminal conduct by Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden, to avoid lessening their chances. Conversely, no word or act that Trump utters or performs is legitimate. I am a student of history, and I don’t recall a situation like the one we find ourselves in since Lincoln won the 1860 election, and the Democrats realized that it was the beginning of the end of slavery.
Even though the media is trying very hard to distract people from the Biden scandal, it is not working. Moreover, folks can see that Pelosi’s gambit is based upon prevarication and equivocation. While the polls are shifting, it appears that it’s mainly democrats (who had earlier shunned impeachment) are now jumping on the bandwagon.
Personally, I think there are several RINOs in the Senate, who would vote for impeachment. They are either resentful squishes, like Mitt Romney, or poseurs like Sasse. I’m betting, however, that there aren’t 22 of them.
If I’m right, the country is in for a horrific episode, from which Trump will emerge victorious. Frankly, I don’t see the folks who voted for Trump jumping the political ship because the democrats impeached him. After all, it was the kind of behavior that the democrats are engaged in that drove millions of Americans to vote for Trump in the first place.

The Do-Nothing-But-Kevetch Democrats want to impeach a President of a sovereign country because he questioned -- in a general fashion -whether the Biden Family behaved properly in their dealings with the Ukrainian government. When Vice President, Mr. Biden had bragged - in a video - that he would withhold a very large sum of our country's money in loans to the Ukraine if a certain Ukrainian prosecutor- who was investigating young Biden's business dealings - was not fired. That particular prosecutor was fired shortly thereafter. Appearances suggest a quid pro quo, and that would be an illegal act. So it was proper for The President to question whether it should be looked into.
You have to wonder why the Dems question his integrity.

I wouldn't put too much faith in a Senate trial.
Not with RINO Roberts presiding - - and not with Linguini Mitch leading "our" side.

Donald Trump will win the 2020 election with or without a successful impeachment although I don't believe the democrats will be successful with it. The people pronounced the dems to be unfit to lead and this time they are even more pathetic and obnoxious. A couple of forceful marches on Washington and a little violence will trim their feathers. "We have not yet begun to fight" to quote an old Navy man.

What amazes me are the words of the left used against President Trump. The pretzel logic of the left is that acting Presidential, being Presidential doing his job working for the United States and we the people, keeping his sworn promises and standing tall on the global stage for rights to balance the trade is now an impeachable offense. That is amazing to witness.
As a grown man what I witness on that committee with Adam Schiff I believe was unmanly, childish and horrible. Not one Republican stood up turned off his microphone and challenged this stupid childish buffoon. That was an impeachable offense if there ever was one, lying to we the people and colleagues in Congress. If I wanted a 'court jester' I would go to a Renascence Fair. Grown adult men don't act like that not in our government the President should lean hard on this buffoon.

The anti-American Marxists are itching because of China and Ruth Bader Ginsburg. The Senate does not inspire confidence because Lindsey Graham was a McCain person until recently. Romney, Lee and Sasse are impeachment votes. Amazingly, none of the senators Trump got elected in 2018 has said a peep.

Let's get it to a vote in the House. See which Dems will return to their districts after that. Of course, Schiff, Nadler, Lee, & Waters could vote for execution but it wouldn't make a diff in their districts. What about more conservative areas?
