Pope Francis has publicly endorsed an essay that appeared in 2017 criticizing relations between Evangelicals and Catholics in the United States as an “ecumenism of hate.”
On Thursday, La Civiltà Cattolica journal released the transcript of a meeting between Pope Francis and a group of 24 Jesuits on September 5, 2019, during his recent trip to Mozambique in which the pope suggested that certain Evangelical Protestants in the United States “cannot really be defined as Christian.”
“Two important articles in Civiltà Cattolica have been published in this regard. I recommend them to you. They were written by Father Spadaro and the Argentinean Presbyterian pastor, Marcelo Figueroa.
Pope is a dope....we ignore him

Catholics who al lour lives have tried to be faithful to our families, our nation and our Faith, are being sorely tried by this lamentable pontificate. I am a parish catechist and I teach loyalty to Scripture and what we call "authentic Magisterium" (the consistent teachings of the Church guided by the Word of God through 20 centuries.) I never in a million years thought I'd even be in a position where the most active and dangerous global opponent of the Magisterium is the Pope.

This Pope is only one pen-stroke away from declaring, "ex-Cathedra, that AGW is an official doctrine of the Catholic Church...
Somehow, Jesus and His Gospel of the Kingdom received very little mention...

Pope John Paul II . . . now THAT was a real pontiff, a Christian man worthy of respect. He stood firmly against the culture of death (abortion) for the rights of unborn children. He stood in solidarity with freedom-seeking people against totalitarian communists.
I miss him.

Dope Francis, ask me again for a donation to Peter's Pence. You will get zero. The Vatican, and everything that comes out of it, is dead to me now

Francis is not worthy of the office. And I agree X1000 with #8, the last real Pope was John Paul II. I miss him as well.

Pope Francis is not the first corrupt Pontiff and unfortunately won't be the last. Man, after all is sinful, and not God.

My "pope" is Jesus Christ. I, and everyone else, have a direct line to God Almighty and I use it daily. It is me and God, one on one. Have a blessed day all, and keep your faith for it will all turn out wonderful in the end {beginning}.

The Pope is a vestige of another time when The Catholic church ran everything in Europe including science. He's irrelevant. Like an appendix.

Pope Francis should have been a feminist activist rather than a pope. Now he is both.

Francis isn't a true pope. He is the anti-Christ. The last real pope was Benedict. This Francis clown is evil and the Vatican has been taken over by evil.

As a Catholic, is it sacrilegious to ask the Pope to shut his pie hole?
