Buzz Paterson, the White House military aide who carried the “nuclear football” information for former President Bill Clinton, said that a member of the intelligence community broke the “circle of trust” by filing a complaint with the Intelligence Community Inspector General about a private phone call President Trump had with a world leader, as well as leaking this information to Congress.
According to media reports, the intelligence official had filed a complaint with the ICIG alleging an inappropriate promise made by the president.
“I was President Bill Clinton’s Air Force military aide from 1996 to 1999,” Patterson told The Epoch Times, explaining that he lived and worked

Speaking of the nuclear football and Bill Clinton, sometime between 1998-2000 Clinton lost his nuclear code ID card. The code numbers are needed to open the breifcase. It remained missing for at least a few months, possibly years. Accounts as to the date he lost it vary from 1998-2000. Insiders who knew about it didn't mention it until at least 2003. One account describes how people frantically looked for it. Articles appeared in the Atlantic, UK Telegraph, and Daily Mail. Naturally, Mr. Patterson described in this article wasn't going to say a word even if he knew.

The dems will just not let up. They are determined to end this President’s term one way or another. How in the world does he function at all with this den of vipers just waiting to strike at any moment. It is outrageous. It would make anyone paranoid. The absolute garbage this President has to put up with would paralyze most men. He just forges ahead and gets the job done any way he can. It really is amazing and at the same time it is heart breaking to watch him go through this on behalf of the country and the American people. Don’t think Americans aren’t watching. They are and will vote accordingly.

Their pettiness only makes Trump look even more effortlessly presidential.

Mr. Patterson is right about a lot of things! One stands out to me, Trump needs to weed out those who are working for the Democrats. Doesn't matter if they are "Career" employees. If they're caught in a leak or lie, they should be fired because they probably have done it many times, only they weren't caught! These are people who thought Obama walked on Water and will do anything they can to take out Trump. IMHO, it's The President's Business who he speaks with and if there are those he asked to listen to the call, he SHOULD be able to trust them to keep that call confidential. IF they choose to leak, there should be a consequence. Just because they CALL him a "Whistleblower", doesn't mean he REALLY isn't a "Leaker"!

Look, this is one more "charge" to lay on PDT as the campaign season ramps up. More rumor and innuendo by an anonymous source handed to an IG for endless investigation. It is one of what is certainly more to come as the election campaign warms. This is another Uniparty production, handed to PDT's "friends" in the Deep State, i.e. the Intel community.
Once again, the object is to either 1) Stop the Trump 2020 campaign before the primary season to allow a "top tier" challenger (that would be Mitt), or 2) To make PDT politically radioactive going into the '20 elections to prevent his re-election. It's what Nadler's "impeachment hearings" are all about...even when they backfire.

I would not doubt this is all phony story pushed by The Democracy Integrity Project (TDIP) which pumps out daily "briefings" to prominent Washington journalists, as well as Congressional staffers. They did this during the Russian collusion scheme, and likely continuing on other stories now.

It would be a hoot if the person President Trump was talking with on the phone was Giuliani, posing as a Ukraine official, in a scheme to set up a suspected leaker!

We need to relentlessly hunt down this traitorous leaker and put him/her in prison. Absolutely unacceptable, and this person needs to never have any sort of a job of trust or import again, EVER.

Whose to say that the so-called “whistleblower” is not a partisan progressive Democrat who is out to drive Biden out of the Democrat primary race, by highlighting political corruption involving Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden who was given huge amounts of money by Ukrainian interests at the time that Joe Biden was handling Ukrainian foreign affairs during the Obama Administration.
Federal Agency Inspector Generals do not have any authority or jurisdiction to initiate investigations targeting the President of the USA. Clearly the “complaint” was routed through an Agency Inspector General in an effort to shield the “whistleblower’s” identity from discovery under the “whistleblower” laws. Obviously the “whistleblower” also transmitted his or her “complaint” to highly partisan Democrat Members of Congress that ensured that the raw and “spun” complaint would be made public, but not the “whistleblower’s” identity. Obviously the “whistleblower” took a cheap shot at both Joe Biden and President Trump.

This "whistle blower" needs permanent reassignment to another part of government, preferably in Minot, North Dakota. That partisan civil service worker can never be trusted again. That conversation was within the purview of the President, who is the chief law enforcement officer in the nation.
