As Week Two of the NFL’s 100th season kicks off, a quick look through social media finds many fans still wondering about all the empty seats as their favorite teams hit the gridiron.
The worst example appeared to be at L.A. Memorial Coliseum where the Rams were battling the visiting New Orleans Saints. Fans flooded social media with questions over the size of the crowd: (tweets) Also, as the Redskins at home at FedExField took on the visiting Dallas Cowboys – and lost to Dallas, 31-21 –some wondered where the fans went:

Stadiums packed wherever clean-shaven Yankees play. Baseball still for patriots.

I, like many others, continue my lifetime boycott of all things NFL.

I voted with my feet 3 years ago. When Humperdinck took a knee and gave me and my country the bird and the NFL did nothing about it, I was gone.

I hope they go out of business. Support your college teams.

Fans wonder why there are empty seats? Clearly, those guys do not read the news.

The matchups were mostly uninteresting in week 2. Several teams basically have no QB's, and cannot win. The NFL again is unbalanced, with 8 strong teams, and the rest will lose. It's mostly about AB, Kapernick, or some other out of control player.

Doesn't matter. The official and unofficial sponsors will pick up the slack, because of the inherent propaganda value especially to the violent subculture.

This article is mainly based on "some wondered", social media, "seemed to have", "said to be", "some fans thought", "one fan thought", and "fans worried."
Many would be whining about "sources" if the topic was PDT, not football crowd sizes.

And my seat in front of the television was empty, too.

I'm seldom interested in NFL games, but occasionally check the local NFL team. Yesterday, I tuned into the last 5 minutes just to see if they lost (again). They did. I shed no tears.

I could care less about the NFL, and I used to be addicted to it. Hockey is a great sport to watch and unlike the NFL, many of the players grew up outside the USA. Yet they seem to know that they need to respect the playing of the national anthem before the game. Also, the player rosters have not been overpopulated by Africans as the professional football teams.

The NFL is still playing football? Who would have known?

Glad to see that their idolization of Kaepernic and the other SJW morons is still hurting them deeply. The only exciting moment I heard about in last week's games was a fire on the field. I can not say "Told Ya So!" with enough contempt in my voice. Happy 100th anniversary! I hope the NFL uses their shrinking profits to set up job training schools for 300 lb Water Buffalo to make a living after the whole league dissolves. Touchdown for the Deplorables!

My heroes wear 'Kevlar helmets' not football helmets and work for nearly nothing doing a hard job that not many others are cut out to do. I haven't watched those disrespectful NFL thug idiots going on four seasons now. I hope they all lose their games. There could be 50 cents admission with free hot dogs and drinks and I wouldn't go to an NFL game to watch un-patriotic rubes take a knee when the anthem is played. If the networks don't show and I don't hear the anthem then they must still be kneeling so I won't watch.

Spit in America's eye long enough and they will not show up at your parties.
Pound sand, you stupid, overpaid black athletes and all who depend on money from NFL ticket sales.

Unlike many here, I’ll never stop watching my KC Chiefs. However, I’ll never support the Raiders when they play in Vegas next year.

After 3 years, my brain no longer craves to see the game. Zero money spent on the game, more money to pay off my loan.
