House Speaker Nancy Pelosi shut down press questions about whether the House is conducting a formal impeachment inquiry as some lawmakers claim. “I’m not answering any more questions about a possible inquiry, investigation, and the rest,” Pelosi tersely told reporters who asked her about the matter at her weekly press conference. Pelosi’s frustration led her to walk away from the podium, cutting her press conference short after calling for the media to focus on the Senate GOP’s refusal to take up a Democratic proposal to expand background checks for gun purchases.

Well Nancy, all the impeachment stuff is coming from YOUR caucus. You no longer control them. I understand your frustration. But I'm also enjoying it!

Impeaching a president should be a serious legal matter not a partisan political ploy. Only two presidents have been subjected to impeachment procedures and both were acquitted.Today's Democrats want to remove a president simply because they oppose his policies. This cheapens the process and sets an unwise precedent.

Nasty Nancy, that is because the Senate isn't going to curtail the Constitutional rights of law-abiding citizens because of the actions of a few evil nutcases!!!! That is a dead issue, thank God!!!
But the Demon-Rats are keeping the whole bogus impeachment thing alive -- and you are their leader in the House!!! So grow a pair and answer the questions you evil and senile hag!!!!!!!

Nancy
Let me remind you of a few things you seem to have forgotten:
1. You are Speaker of the House and set the agenda for the House
2, The American people want to know whether Democrats in the House will impeach Donald Trump
3. You do NOT have ANY authority over the Senate agenda
4. You were elected to represent the Americans in your district
5. Donald Trump was elected by the American voters according to the rules stated in the US Constitution
You should do YOUR job. The Senate will do THEIRS. BOTH should listen to the PEOPLE, who ultimately put them in office and have the authority to remove them form office.

HERE'S how you stop ALL of their illegal shenanigans
you sue THEM - personally - and bring out THEIR dirty laundry EVERY CHANCE YOU GET..
they only understand the law when THEY are being sued..
the Covington Kids are good examples.. so is the Bakery vs Oberlin..
so, hopefully, will be Congress vs the phony Omar girl
when THEY are all being subpoenaed they might understand a bit better..
maybe THEN pelosi might have a little more control over them..

Sounds like House Judiciary Committee contradicts House Speaker. I wonder how that will be reported by NBC Nightly New? My guess, it will not be mentioned at all. Kind of like the NC Congressional election results. So much winning.

Fake news. The press speaks for Democrats so I don’t believe Pelosi is really impatient with them. They are doing exactly what she and other powerful Democrats want which is to keep the idea of impeachment alive. If there is any evidence that the public is truly interested in impeachment before the next election she’ll deliver speeches, poems, elegies and essays about the wonder of the thing.

This is laughable. It is the Democrats who have focused on impeachment to appease their own base. What else have they accomplished?

#5 gets it. Her walk-out made headlines that drew your attention. She has to look like she's being dragged into this without any joy. Later, she'll "conclude" that there are serious allegations that need to be fully investigated and aired. And watch Mitt maneuver himself into this...

The "Queen" gets nasty when her narrative is challenged.
Dems do far more to brow beat the media than Republicans do. Yet the media follows them around like puppies.
