A federal judge Tuesday ordered the White House to reverse its suspension of a reporter’s press credentials.
Playboy reporter Brian Karem’s White House pass was temporarily revoked after he argued with President Donald Trump’s former aide Sebastian Gorka at a Rose Garden event in July.
Karem’s hard pass — a long-term White House press pass — was suspended for 30 days in August by press secretary Stephanie Grisham, who cited his lack of “professionalism” and “decorum.”
But U.S. District Judge Rudolph Contreras determined the standards for press behavior had not been made clear before the event and granted a preliminary injunction restoring Karem’s pass.

The First Amendment doesn't guarantee anybody a press pass. Notice that the courts are very clear about their own right to keep reporters from turning courtrooms into a circus.

Give him his pass, never call on him, and arrest him the moment he becomes disruptive.

As expected, another loathsome nitwit-in-black-robes appointed by the even more loathsome Obumble, the Manchurian Candidate. No surprise that this is a wrong decree, the fool should never have had a role higher than toilet scrubber at Burger King.
But there is blame enough to go around. The creep's appointment to that high position was approved in 2012 by voice vote!! !!! Not even ONE of the overpaid Republicrat Senators had sufficient integrity to register even a mild demurrer. A plague on the lot of them.
Oh, and this carbuncle also sits on the FISA Court. "Your tax dollars at work".

OMG (I know, I'm embarrassed to have typed it, but it's the correct reaction....)
Tell you what, how about quick as a bunny they prepare an addendum to the "standards for press behavior" which "had not been made clear" for the poor judge. I figure in 6 point type it should run about 10 pages, single spaced.
Starting with "shall not break any law," going on to "shall not hang pencils by the eraser end from their nose," "scratch their crotch and sniff their finger(s)," "twirk when called on to ask a question," "imitate loud flatulence," "pull one's skirt over one's head...."
Since, per the judge's wisdom, all such things must be anticipated in writing, redress is simple.
I think judges need such an itemization also, although my first entry would be, "Judges SHALL NOT ACT LIKE IDIOTS..."

Ah. A FISA judge that was involved with General Flynn's lynching as well as an Obama appointee. I am sure the Cuban Americans are cringing at this guy's traitorous habits.

Give me a break, we know exactly what you are doing you partisan hack and that is in direct conflict with your job.

I was not aware that anyone had a RIGHT to attend a press briefing. And I was not aware that it was in the purview of a Federal judge to tell the White House who MUST be allowed to attend a press briefing. I believe the judge has overstepped his bounds.
It may not be prudent politically -- or it may be prudent politically, I don't know -- to bar someone from a press briefing. But that is up to the White House. Whatever the decision is, let the chips fall where they may. And the courts need to stay out.

Actually yest they are, and this judge is lying through his capped teeth. The WH revised the rules after the Acosta incident, remember? So if that idiot reporter didn't read the revised rules that is on him, not the WH. The revisions were made according to a judge's ruling as I recall. So this ruling is complete and utter BS.

I thought the WH press people wrote up standards after the awipe Acosta man handled the aid during a presser in the WH some months ago. The WH took his pass away and the courts said the WH needed to have written documents of behavior etc. So they did. Kick the bum out!

Perhaps the WH should produce a child's book with pictures good character and bad characters that shows what is acceptable behavior. Apparently the media types and Judge Contreras are too stupid to understand the written word. A child's book could be just the thing (except for the judge who is just plain corrupt). The WH should also move the WH press corps to an annex, outside the WH itself and not allow them in except on special situations. They can be on the grounds, but their hard pass should not allow them in the WH. It is time they are treated like the children they are.

Wannabe ruler judge, it's none of your business. Do some real judging for a change. This crap is getting to be tiring. These nuts will completely decimate this country if they ever get back in power. Help us, Lord.
