Why Michelle Obama Won’t Run in 2020

Original Article

The Democrats are clearly losing confidence that their declared presidential candidates can beat President Trump in 2020. They tout polls showing that any of their top four candidates would win the general election were it held now, but only the most naïve take such hypothetical matchups seriously. Moreover, they can see that their leading candidate is so fuddled that he frequently forgets his talking points and even where he is on a given day, while his competitors are so far left of the mainstream that Trump would trounce them. This is why so many on the left have turned their desperate eyes to Michelle Obama.

Why would she? David Geffen's yacht holds more appeal than trying to look somber in front of a d@mn flag. In her heart she knows she's not mentally capable either, and would give SloJo a run for his money...

Not enough time. She just purchased 29 acres. Next spring she will be busy planting her new garden. I am sure she will share the wealth with her new neighbors.

I have mixed opinions about this. Yeah, (s)he says she hates living in the WhiteHouse and is to lazy and entitled to work.... But (s)he also loves the public spotlight and to be adored by a fawning press and public, and would get much more of that if (s)he were President, especially if (s)he came in to "Save the Democrat Party" from the current horde of buffoons that are currently asking for the job ..... And Besides, Valerie Jarrett would actually run the whole administration from behind the scenes, so the Mooch could be on ten million dollar a day vacations for the duration, with little actual responsibility. So I put the likelyhood on he(r) running at 50%- 50%..... I wouldn't want to bet money on it either way

Michelle Obama is thoroughly unlikeable. She is an ABW, angry black woman. She is lazy. She is vainglorious to a fault and does not have a genuine love for this country. She is a racist and definitely would work to pit us against one another. She is an agitator. There is nothing to commend her for the job. Frankly, and we all know it, she could not stand up to the rigors of campaigning. She is a pampered, coddled woman with an entitlement mentality. She would be unprepared for the rigors of the job. If she thinks that Donald Trump would go easy on her, she is sorely mistaken. He is all about winning. He wouldn’t hold back on her husband’ failures and I don’t believe she could handle that. She may enjoy being wooed to run, but she would not enjoy the reality of the fight this President would bring. He knows just how high the stakes are for the country and there is no way he is going to back down, lighten up, or give deference to Mrs. O. DJT is in it to win it!

The left tried running a First Lady to their everlasting chagrin. Only utter desperation would drive them down that road again and certainly not with Michelle Obama as their candidate. She is angry, anti-American, disbarred with no accomplishments to her name. She craves the limelight and runs from responsibility. The “most admired woman in the world” is not giving up this current gig for anything.

Character, gravitas, leadership, courage, sense of self sacrifice. All is either not present or at VERY poor levels. This is another poster child of affirmative action - entitled, selfish, lazy, irresponsible, resentful, obnoxious. The fact that she is as popular indicates the deep seated nature of problems with our society and culture. Will she run? My money says no. But I haven't won any lotteries lately.

Look at her history. She failed to pass the bar exam. She has never done real legal work. She got a sinecure with the Univ. of Chicago which was not filled when she left. She likes to take inordinately expensive vacations. The only thing we can deduce from the past is that she is a self-indulgent whiner. Look at her undergraduate thesis. What is it about? Her at Princeton. That's not a thesis; it's a whiny autobiography. The only fire in the belly comes when she is being criticized or not being indulged. The POTUS gig is tough; Moochelle doesn't do tough. She does whine. Now she is free to do wine. She gets attention in return for doing nothing. That's her dream job.

If Michelle couldn't hold her temper or tongue when it was all going right for her (First Lady, first black president as husband, 50 staff doing her bidding on trifles, jetting off to Europe for shopping & concerts, constant fawning from media) how is she going to respond when it all goes wrong for her or merely threatens to go wrong? This woman is quicker to anger than even Hillary Clinton - and Hillary wakes up angry every morning. Trump (and I, to be fair) would delight in needling her. If anything, his criticism of Elijah Cummings and The Squad has demonstrated that he doesn't fear the 'racist' tag since a) he's called racist anyway and b) they'll have to confront reality at some point. Michelle would take the bait all day long. She would be helpless in discussions of the issues in-depth, not least because she hasn't been involved in them. She would be hopeless in debates, gritting her teeth and pegging the volume knob at 11.

I have no concern about Mike running. It just isn't happening. The left is surely smart enough to know that running for president is not a popularity contest. Besides as you all have stated, she isn't giving up her cushy life or lifestyle, not for the country she wasn't proud of till after her husband was elected president.

MO has never turned down a money deal just because she had to work in order to see those dollar bills. Why would she decline to fill this position? As she has done in other instances, she manages to muddle through using others as her proxy, only contributing the name. If she does make the decision to 'run' , do we then tie her shoe laces together in order to STOP her? OMG, to once again be forced to view the fashions seen during her former 'stage presence', women everywhere are gritting their teeth and cringing.

Just for giggles. let's look at Mooch getting the candidate nod at the Convention. The Dem preliminary debates will be over. She can use the "Trump Racist" excuse to avoid ever having to debate him. Instead, her time would be spent on the Leftist MSM's plethora of talk shows where she would be met with adulation, and not have to worry about anything like criticism. Add to this, the Left's corrupt control of most of the Nation's major population centers, and their ability to magically make ballots for their candidates appear out of thin air,(or trunks of cars) , and Shazaam! Mooch is President. In politics, especially a system corrupt as this one. there is no sure thing and Republicans will have to work twice as hard in 2020 as they did in 2016.

In response to the circumventing the Constitution referred to in the article, ostensibly giving Barak Obama a third term, I would not put this past liberals. After all, they are currently trying to circumvent the Constitution with regard to the Electoral College, so why would they not do it for a woman a recent liberal pole showed her to be the most respected woman in the world? Remember we are dealing with an ideology that wishes to destroy this country.

Seven people, all from different households, not only gathered for Thanksgiving but distributed to the media pictorial evidence of them flouting mask mandates and social distancing edicts. No governor yet claims jurisdiction over the International Space Station but the astronauts have a lot of explaining to do when they return to earth. It’s not as though they lacked for space. Governors ordering around people 250 miles above their states seems far-fetched. But so, too, did the notion of governors usurping the role of legislatures. Eight months after the initial coronavirus lockdowns, citizens docilely accept the idea of a single person dictating the laws that govern millions of people.

Will Joe Biden and his foreign-policy team accept the extraordinary gift Team Trump is leaving for them under the Christmas tree — or is their hatred for the president so all-consuming that they will toss it in the garbage? I’m talking about the Abraham Accords, peace deals between Israel and various Arab states — the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Sudan — that have sought the Jewish state’s destruction since its founding in 1948. Normalization has proceeded so quickly, Dubai already has a kosher restaurant, and its supermarkets are stocking Israeli agricultural products festooned with Stars of David — a science-fictional sight only a year ago.

The practice of democracy in our constitutional republic flourishes in the presence of contradictions. Democracy, itself, is bound by our inalienable rights, bestowed to us by our Creator. These rights, not given to us by our government by any majority or by any vote, cannot be rescinded, for they were not wrought by man. Voting is a contradiction for it is both public and private at the same time. Its process is intended to be secret, but transparent. Its agency is intensely partisan, but its effect is intended to be unifying. The legitimacy of voting must survive despite the contradictions intrinsic to the process.

Will Judge Emmett Sullivan accept President Trump’s pardon of General Michael Flynn? No one has suggested that possibility, other than The New York Sun. The general’s case, though, has become a bonfire of the vanities of one district judge who has denied the presumption of regularity to an official act of the United States government — meaning Attorney General William Barr’s attempt to drop the case. So why would Judge Sullivan credit President Trump’s workaround of a pardon? We understand, the pardon could be the least fettered of all the powers that the Constitution grants to the president.

Many conservatives have moved their social-media accounts to the more freewheeling Parler, and often have slammed the supposedly monopolistic Facebook and Twitter as they’ve decamped from those sites. I have chuckled at some of their overheated parting rhetoric — especially the widespread misunderstanding about the meaning of the word “monopoly.” A monopoly is, as the Oxford dictionary explains, “the exclusive possession or control of the supply of or trade in a commodity or service.” Quite obviously, if one stops doing business with a company and heads over to its competitor, then the previous company is not by definition in exclusive possession or control of a service.

Nancy Pelosi’s top priority is to turn America into a one-party nation ruled by Democrats. Her bill HR 1 trashes the U.S. Constitution in an attempt to rig the system and make it virtually impossible to elect a Republican president or Congress again. It’s a power grab. The bill eviscerates state voting laws and forces all the states to conform to a set of rules that includes automatic voter registration. Anyone who goes to a DMV or applies for food stamps, Medicaid or other social services, or attends a public college will be automatically enrolled to vote. I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.

Rep. Steve Cohen vowed to renew the push to remove former FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover’s name from the bureau’s downtown Washington headquarters, according to an interview released Monday. Appearing on Yahoo! News’ Skullduggery podcast, the Tennessee Democrat said the effort is getting a fresh look after the release of a new movie highlighting the FBI’s secret program to discredit civil rights activists. The Washington Times in 2019 first reported Democrats’ bid to strip the longtime FBI director’s name from the bureau’s headquarters. Mr. Cohen said the impetus to revive the bid is the new movie, “Judas and the Black Messiah.” The movie details

“There must have been a moment, at the beginning, when we could have said –-no. But somehow we missed it.” Tom Stoppard The millions of Americans who were paying attention throughout the 2020 election campaign all became painfully aware of the fact that Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities were slipping and slipping fast. His wife, as the person closest to him, should have been the one to call the campaign quits in order to reduce stress on the man. Instead, apparently so anxious to become the First Lady by any means necessary, Mrs. Biden continued to push her failing husband’s campaign forward as if he were mentally qualified.
