Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” former Rep. Joe Walsh said he was mounting a 2020 Republican primary challenge to President Donald Trump. Walsh said, “I’m running because he’s unfit, somebody needs to step up, and there needs to be an alternative. The country is sick of this guy’s tantrum. There once was a happy kingdom ruled by a benevolent king. In the middle of the town was a well that had magical waters. If drunk, the water would make you go mad. One by one, the people of the kingdom drank from the well, and in doing so, all went mad. The king pleaded with them to return to their senses, but they could not, and turned on him with great hatred, accusing him of being mad. They demanded he drink from the well to prove his loyalty to them. And so, he did, and in doing so, went mad. And, all the people of the kingdom rejoiced because the king had now regained his senses. If Trump is nuts, I’ll take a send helping, please.

Joe Walsh comes on at 5 on a Chicago AM station after Sean Hannity. The guy is a one term loser, hard to figure how he ever got elected. His ego is off the scale and his regard for his own high intelligence is tempered for us by slowing his cadence to a crawl so the ignorant people listening to him can keep up. He must work cheap because he is impossible to listen to. WLS just started a new talk show host who will completely knock Walsh off the radio.

Countering Progressive Nihilism 1 reply

America’s homeless epidemic, along with a shocking rise in deaths from drug overdoses, stem from the same root cause: liberal progressive ideology. The seductive power of this ideology, which brims in equal measure with overwrought compassion for the less fortunate alongside fuming resentment towards the “privileged,” has earned it a dominant position in American culture. Armed with the rhetorical equivalent of nuclear weaponry, but devoid of common sense or acceptance of hard truths, liberal progressive ideology defines the message and the agenda in public K-12 and higher education, entertainment, conventional media, social media, multinational corporations, powerful nonprofit organizations, and establishment politics. But the consequences of liberal progressive ideology are often nihilistic.

Once he was unexpectedly elected, Trump was more shocked than anyone, and quickly sought to maximize his profits from the Oval Office. Progressives’ ghoulish glee over the death of an old man turned into barely constrained panic when, later that day, it was revealed that their heroine Ruth Bader Ginsberg was just treated for pancreatic cancer yet again. Their disgraceful joy at David Koch’s passing was yet another reminder of the harsh truth that leftists want you dead or enslaved. Koch’s sin was that he disagreed with liberals (though, in important ways, also with conservatives). For that, these cretins danced around like idiots celebrating his succumbing.
