Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), a 2020 White House hopeful, on Thursday unveiled his sweeping Green New Deal to tackle climate change, a plan he says would take on “the single greatest challenge facing our country” and create 20 million jobs.
“This is a pivotal moment in the history of America -- and really, in the history of humanity. The climate crisis is not only the single greatest challenge facing our country; it is also our single greatest opportunity to build a more just and equitable future, but we must act immediately,” said Sanders.
“When we are in the White House, we will launch the decade of the Green New Deal,

Generalities and Words sound nice on the campaign trail, how about a feasibility study with specifics like a business plan. The American people aren't interested in buying an Edsel.
Dream on Bernie!

If we just print more money, there is plenty of money.....
Intense sarcasm/off
There will always be people like BS who think Utopia and Nirvana can be had if we only spend MORE MONEY--
The Founders wisely understood Human Nature and realized that this would someday be a temptation to fool the people

Bernie Sanders is a washed up BUM. Hey Bernie, how do you propose to limit emissions from Russia? China? India? Or any other 3rd-world country that's trying to pull itself up but doesn't have the means to subsidize a bogus renewable energy platform with taxpayer dollars and instead must rely on traditional, cheap & plentiful, fossil fuels?
Ever notice when Bern' is asked this, he just stomps on the ground like Rumplestiltskin throwing a fit and says BECAUSE I SAY SO!
You're a BUM, Bernie.

Bernie revealed his real agenda. It is to control other people and make them 'equal' via government intrusion. When people are penalized for being exceptional then no one puts forth the effort to excel. Freedom is also our most precious gift from God. When Bernie decides which things we will be allowed to do and which we will not be allowed to do he puts himself in the position of being above God and replaces God's wisdom with the political philosophies of a few bureaucrats. People who crave power like that over us should be the last we should trust with it.

Can this ignorant jerk even hear himself? He sounds like a used-car salesman with his "we must act immediately." Setting the goals for 15 years out conveniently has him out of office or dead when his plan falls through, assuming he is elected by enough fools. Solar and wind have already been proven to be ineffective in creating reliable sources of electricity. Twenty million union jobs doing what, spinning windmills by hand? I can't believe this clown is exceeding 1% in the polls.

Hey, if Rumplestilskin sold his sports car, he would have even less than zero chance of picking up one of those cute UVM co eds.

Please explain in scientific detail with provable evidence exactly what you will do how it works how the results are measured and how long it takes and what we get in the end and how much it all costs and what are the chances it works as proposed. We want measurable results and a budget. But we know the answers already. More government control less liberty and freedom and higher taxes. No thanks.

Two questions:
What will this cost me?
What freedoms will I lose?
Any answer that isnt "none", is a non-starter.
