The New York Times reported Wednesday evening that former Rep. Joe Walsh (D-IL) is considering a primary challenge to President Donald Trump, and that he is being supported by “Never Trump” stalwart Bill Kristol.
The Times, realistic about Walsh’s dim chances but enthusiastic about the prospect of a primary challenge, recounted Walsh’s conversion from a brash Tea Party conservative to an acerbic critic of the president:
In 2016, Mr. Walsh wrote on Twitter that he was voting for Trump, adding: “On November 9th, if Trump loses, I’m grabbing my musket. You in?” Now, Mr. Walsh is calling the president a “racial arsonist” and hoping to turn his

The NeverTrumpers are now looking at Democrats to primary Trump? Lol! Only Republicans should be allowed to primary Trump, but none of the RINOs or closet Democrats are willing to stand up and be humiliated. Keep trying, Billy! Maybe you will eventually find someone dumb enough to listen to you.

Oops. That should read "185" above. I got confused because he goes to parties, sometimes until four.

POTUS is living biggly in the minds of the NYT and Bill Kristol. And the NYT and Bill Kristol are both nuts. A Democrat to primary a Republican. Come on Bill, how? What flavor kool-aid are you drinking? The NYT is typical as usual, totally screwed up.

Why that campaign will never see the light of day: Trump's strong supporters (especially the newest ones), Rush's Mind-Numbed Robots, and Hillary's Deplorables.

Joe Walsh could perform his hit, “Life’s Been Good” at the end of his rallies, which might be the only way he could draw an audience. Would require 6 to 8 band members, back up singers, stage hands, sound system, technicians, light show, aging groupies and 3 to 4 semi trailers for the performance.
Use of Life’s Been Good would require additional lyrics explaining that life has been good only because Walsh had the privilege of being a toxic white male rather than a woman, a person with an undefined gender, a person of color or an undocumented immigrant.

Walsh strikes me as a marketeer pandering to whomever he can garner attention to himself. I tried to listen to him from time to time but found him lacking in a base of firm convictions.

Joe Walsh is a clown who lost to a weak Democrat in a firm Republican district for Congress.

It must be a horrible thing to be Bill Kristol. Blobby, funky-pudgy; can't find a suit that fits anywhere on the planet, not freakish but funny looking; sucking on his own tailpipe...
When is enough, enough? These clown-holes are worse than professional wrasslers.
Do something useful for once. Go fishing; donate your organs. Something; anything.

Retire from what? Having been a co-editor of a failed (would still be in print if not for him), magazine? You don’t need to retire from being a little old lady scold.

Bill has a lot of time on his hands now that he's killed the Weekly Standard, and it is driving him crazy. Of all the purported-Republican "never Trumpers," he's the most deranged. Why is a mystery.

CREW (Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington) have named Rep. Joe Walsh one of the most corrupt members of Congress (https://www.citizensforethics.org/press-release/joe-walsh-named-most-corrupt-member-of-congress/). Kristol maintains his losing streak.

Please go ahead. Collect a few millions from other morons and waste it.
Nothing is going to prevent Trump from running, and IMO, he has a 80% chance of being re-eleted, if we all work hard and take it very seriously, and do NOT assume he is a "shoe in".

Typical NYT and Bill Kristol. Seeking form, rather than substance in a primary candidate. And a Democrat to boot. They apparantly think that it's President Trump's style, not substance, that is peeling off Democrats from the party. And Joe Walsh? Just an opportunist with no apparant convictions, willing to get in your face and channel the NYT and Bill Kristol. SMH.

If Joe Walsh can just get Karl Rove on his side, to go with Kristol, he'd have the ultimate losing combination!

Just as Robert Duh Nero wanted to punch our President in the face, I have wanted to wipe the smirk off Bill Kristol's face for a long time. He's a +10 on the Smirk Scale.
