Jeffrey Epstein’s Bodyguard on His
Former Boss’s Lifestyle, Cruelty, Suicide

When Jeffrey Epstein pleaded guilty to soliciting an underage girl for prostitution in 2008 and served a 13-month sentence under the cushiest of conditions, it was his bodyguard and driver, former UFC fighter Igor Zinoviev, who frequently picked him up at the Palm Beach jail and shuttled him between the office and various appointments. Zinoviev also trained Epstein in a regimen that included weight-lifting and some light fighting drills. And whenever Epstein jetted around to his various estates, Zinoviev accompanied him, riding along on the pretend billionaire’s Lolita Express. Near the end of the interview, the former Epstein bodyguard keeps telling the interviewer, essentially, not to delve into certain matters re Epstein. As I read it, the suggestion is that it would not be good for the interviewer and, if the bodyguard were to answer, it would not be good for him either. That is my take anyway. I could be misreading it. English is not the bodyguard's native language.

It comes across loud and clear that this man, Igor, is afraid. He knows enough to understand that he knows too much and is in danger. The way this man talked reminded me of an experience I had with a Russian. Years ago my church helped a man, his daughter and his two granddaughters get back on their feet after an apartment fire destroyed all of their belongings. The father and daughter were very careful about what they said and did in front of me. After 4-5 weeks of going through sodden items, helping find a new apartment and replacing clothes, furniture, bedding, kitchen goods and more the father emotionally said to me in broken English (words to the effect), “Thank you, thank you for everything you have done. You have behaved like family behaves in Russia. In Russia, you only trust family for help.” Igor Zinoviev knows the reporter isn’t “family” and can’t help him.

Nothing positive for Igor can come from talking to reporters about the Epstein, particularly now that Epstein is dead, and attorneys are searching for alternative defendants and witnesses. Reading this, I was put off by the reporter's insistence that Igor confirm his statements from a long-ago previous interview, even when Igor made it clear he didn't want to address certain issues. The reporter didn't seem to care about Igor's future welfare so long as the reporter could get the story. Igor has now been compromised, which is not where he wants to be when people are looking to Arkancide anyone who might be able to testify about the secret sex lives of rich, noteworthy ne'er-do-well's. Igor's now at least looking forward to loads of time wasted on depositions before attorneys for the young women who were mistreated by Epstein. And none of what he says will be kept confidential by those attorneys.

How do you explain the ingratitude of Ilhan Omar and thousands like her who hate not the culture that threw them into the misery of a refugee camp, but the culture that rescued them? Among those who become dependent on another culture, there some who despise their reliance on something alien, something they need to survive but grow to hate. As their reliance on an alien culture grows, so too does their hatred. I have thought of Ilhan Omar as I have thought of Richard Wagner. Wagner was not just an anti-Semite; he was a vicious anti-Semite. His hatred of Jews consumed him, often dominated his thinking,

Chicago — Singer R. Kelly, already facing sexual abuse charges brought by Illinois prosecutors, was arrested in Chicago Thursday on a federal grand jury indictment listing 13 counts including sex crimes and obstruction of justice. U.S. Attorney’s office spokesman Joseph Fitzpatrick said the R&B singer was taken into custody about 7 p.m. local time and was being held by federal authorities. He was arrested after the federal indictment was handed down earlier Thursday in federal court for the Northern District of Illinois. “The counts include child porn, enticement of a minor and obstruction of justice,” Fitzpatrick said, adding that further details would be released Friday.

The indictment against Jeffrey Epstein for allegedly trafficking underage girls has renewed attention on the billionaire sex offender’s circle of rich and powerful friends. Epstein had close ties in the mid-2000s to former President Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew and Ehud Barak, the former prime minister of Israel. (snip) Epstein’s Rolodex, which was leaked in 2011, was also filled with the names of easily recognizable politicians and celebrities, including actors Alec Baldwin, Ralph Fiennes, Dustin Hoffman, and Elizabeth Hurley. Once again, responding to a horrendous crime by inflicting knee-jerk, authoritarian restrictions on innocent people proves to be an ineffective means of convincing people to obey. Specifically, New Zealand's government—which also stepped up censorship and domestic surveillance after bloody attacks on two Christchurch mosques earlier this year—is running into stiff resistance to new gun rules from firearms owners who are slow to surrender now-prohibited weapons and will probably never turn them in. Officials should have seen it coming. "Police are anticipating a number of people with banned firearms in their possession won't surrender them," Stuff reported at the end of May, based on internal government documents.

Federal authorities revealed Monday that a raid on Jeffrey Epstein’s Manhattan mansion turned up hundreds of nude photos of girls and young women; notes and messages that allegedly back up new sex-trafficking charges against him; and a massage table with sex toys. The details were disclosed by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Manhattan as it laid out its reasons for asking the court to hold the billionaire financier without bail until trial. It said Epstein’s vast wealth and international holdings make him an “extreme flight risk”—and noted that he is in serious jeopardy of spending the rest of his life behind bars because of the evidence against him.

New York - American financier Jeffrey Epstein pleaded not guilty on Monday to charges of sex trafficking as prosecutors accused him of luring dozens of girls as young as 14 to his luxury homes in New York and Florida and paying them for sex acts. An indictment unsealed in federal court in Manhattan accused Epstein, 66, of arranging for girls to perform nude “massages” and other sex acts, and paying some girls to recruit others, from at least 2002 to 2005. “The alleged behavior shocks the conscience, and while the charged conduct is from a number of years ago, it is still profoundly important to the many alleged victims, now young women,”

"In 2002 and 2003, President Clinton took a total of four trips on Jeffrey Epstein's airplane: One to Europe, one to Asia, and two to Africa, which included stops in connection with the work of the Clinton Foundation. Staff, supporters of the Foundation, and his Secret Service detail traveled on every leg of every trip.

Maher first indicated that he was rooting for a recession on June 8 of last year, when he said “I feel like the bottom has to fall out at some point and by the way, I’m hoping for it because I think one way you get rid of Trump is to crash the economy. So please, bring on the recession.

Late one afternoon, while taking a leisurely stroll on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, a friend of mine named Tim Malloy ran into a trim, silver-haired neighbour of ours from Palm Beach in Florida. The man was walking down Madison Avenue, and several things about him were striking. For one thing, he was wearing slippers. Expensive, embroidered, monogrammed slippers. But slippers all the same. For another, he was accompanied by two exceptionally attractive women. As the man half shuffled, half walked down the avenue, the women walked slightly behind him, as if they were attendants or staff.
