Much has been written and will be written on the death of Jeffery Epstein. Was it suicide? Was it murder? The only thing certain is that the man did not die of natural causes.
The official finding will most likely be suicide. Even if this is actually the case, it still will fuel "conspiracy" theories. Rightfully so. (snip) Trust in government and the agencies of government is already at an all time low. The Department of Justice, the CIA, and the FBI have already discredited themselves by their participation in the coup against President Trump.

Someone's employment will be terminated at this prison. I guarantee it. I would not be surprised of a sudden turnover of employees.....starting from the top down. I don't want to hear about the shortage of personnel. Don't care. A prisoner with such high profile and tried to commit suicide should have been under close watch 24/7.

The writer is correct. the very first thing that pops into my head is Arkanside. However, it is a conspiracy theory and at this time I am writing it off. The most likely scenario is gross negligence on the jail keepers. The idea of a suicide watch is to make sure the subject is being watched 24 hours and is expected to try again. The whole purpose is to prevent another attempt.
We are at a point where our trust of all levels of government is at the lowest I have ever seen. The number of government employees in relation to the general population is way out of proportion to where it ought to be. There are many good conscientious people there but, there are also a great many that are just there for the paycheck and benefits. I have had several contacts this year with both state and federal employees. I have had some good experiences and some that were wow, that was a lot of time on hold to reach someone who was not courteous and also very incompetent.
After all that, the dems want to literally more than double the size of the federal government. 2020 will probably be the most important election in the past century. We have to win by a landslide. Otherwise, the future of our children and grand children will be very bleak.

The most chilling words in this piece are the last ones: "That won't be America." They evoke the loss of an ideal made real. A vision realized. A promise kept. Barack Obama said over and over again (promoting his own personal views of "transforming" our Republic) "That's not who we are." But "who we are" can be anyone's opinion. It's amorphous--up for grabs. I'm not who Barack Obama is. He's not me. What America is--a united Republic governed by laws which are established by duly elected representatives of its citizens--is something fixed and real. When we lost THAT, we've lost everything.

Something tells me the merit system is not being used in corrections and I suspect the same in our military. Obvious end results.

Epstein got snuffed for threatening to reveal secrets. His partner Maxwell beat the rap because she clammed up.

One essential characteristic of society is being destroyed daily by corruption and mismanagement in government at almost all levels is trust.

It's not just that the policing agencies participated in a coup against PDT, it's who they colluded with in that coup. They (hit-lary, o'blah-blah, and the left) lost the presidential election, yet they still have a huge amount of power. She was to finish the fundamental transformation that the L-B started, and PDT made a significant dent in their plan. If they get away with this murder in particular, it's a huge sign of what we can expect in 2020. PDT will not be re-elected, and the House and Senate will go full leftists. They are planning to cheat hard on every level (city, state, and federal). Leftists and participating pubs will give the left more progress in confiscating our guns, and we won't be able to do anything about their takeover of America. And, rule of law will not be a term related to America ever again. We'll all be slaves. No sir, these are not conspiracy theories; this is reality, and people better wake up before it's too late.

Per Skurkiss's point about loss of respect: That's a huge aspect of the illegal immigration problem. Not only have they entered by means of disrespecting our laws and "law enforcement" personnel, but they have largely emerged from environment in which official corruption is deep and intrusive. The immigrants bring those expectations with them, to our detriment.

My brief thought is what if the egregious among us all killed themselves. I am having a hard time thinking that would be a bad thing.

With Prince Andrew's alleged involvement, do not discount the possible involvement of a British agency.

This whole affair reminds me of a sex scandal that took place in Denver about eight years ago that was termed "Denver Players Denver Sugar" that involved the Denver Mayor Michael Hancock. Hancock was believed to be involved in running a prostitution ring in Denver. Some really big names were believed involved in a sex ring. Channel 9 investigative reporter Debra Sherman was fired from 9News for refusing to cease investigating the story. The Denver deep state and local msm was ordered (by whom?) to kill the story and despite significant discussion on several local radio talk shows, the story gradually disappeared under the waves. Amazingly, though, no one was murdered and no "assisted suicides" had occurred in order to kill the story.

Andrew McCarthy said the Gov. had a weak case, and could be double jeopardy.
Remember, has a citizen Epstein was innocent. He was not guilty of anything yet.
He should have been given bail, as McCarthy said today.

I don't think he's dead. I think he's in a witness protection program. Too convienent to get that shot of his blue profile on the stretcher for all the world to see.

A person who loves himself as much as Epstein did doesn’t do suicide. Particularly not out of shame for past actions, which to him were not perversions but rights. The suspicion that he isn't really gone to the happy hunting grounds is reasonable.
