The United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) released a report on Thursday that calls for letting agricultural land return to the wilderness and for people to eat more plants and fewer animals.
The report reiterates the globalist organization’s claim that man’s use of natural resources to improve people’s lives around the world is making “global warming” worse and will make food more scarce, more expensive, and less nutritional.
“The cycle is accelerating,” NASA climate scientist Cynthia Rosenzweig, a co-author of the report, said in an Associated Press report. “The threat of climate change affecting people’s food on their dinner table is increasing.”

As Ronald Reagan used to say "There they go again!" Seven and a half billion humans, all aspiring for a higher, energy rich standard of living is an unprecedented burden on the planet, its resources and eco systems. There is no dispute, no argument against that. But to say that man made climate change is the main cause and more taxation and regulations will reverse it, is fraud, pure and simple. Perpetrated for ulterior motives which are very clear to the people of the world now.

Wonder if Cynthia has a 6 or 7 figure government contract to study Creeping Climate Change? Methane is a very effective greenhouse gas. Doen't she know what eating beans does to the atmosphere. But am willing to compromise. I promise I will never eat another hedgehog.

Changes in land use and diets. Huh. Something tells me these reprobates want everyone on the Auschwitz diet and living in camps--everyone but them, of course.

This is purely about money and control. The idiots that push this are just one party world rule authoritarians. It’s been time for the UN to go the way of the dinosaurs for more than a few decades now.

About 75% of the earth is covered with water yet no one ever talks about controlling it. So I ignore all the fools who think they're so powerful they can control nature.

Hmmm, since "man’s use of natural resources to improve people’s lives around the world is making 'global warming' worse and will make food more scarce, more expensive, and less nutritional", the logical, rational fix would be to round up all the non-productive poor people who are a drain on resources and slaughter them. Maybe even Soylent Green them. If we can kill a million unborn humans a year, what would be the problem with a few million more post-birth abortions if we can save the planet in the process? A win-win, right?

I want to see the United Mud Hut Nations headquarters moved out of the US. I suggest moving to Bangui, Central African Republic, or Malobo, Equatorial Guinea. Both are prime African garden spots where "diplomats" can enjoy the UN high life they're accustomed to and not be bothered with parking tickets.

Let's take a close look at this scam, shall we? This planet is 71% water, 29 % land, most of which is uninhabitable so we actually occupy less than 5% of the planet. Think about that. There is no way that creatures of any kind who occupy that little of the planet (it may be closer to 3%) have that big an impact on the climate, however we can have a big impact on the pockets of these lying money grabbing dictators at the UN who want to steal our hard earned money.
The Cloud theory gives us a much better explanation of the changing climate and it actually fits the experimental models. Svensmark's theory however can't produce one dime for these hypocritical liars and scam artists so they don't want to hear it.

What they forgot to mention is that saving the planet will require a massive investment. Of course, most of the investment will be in U.N. requirements, and sponsored think tanks and contractors. What countries have the disposable income to fund this massive ''investment?'' Why, the U.S., of course. Think they will get any money from Third-World countries? Or even China or Russia? Europe, already being crushed by socialism sure won't fork over any significant funding.
Who does the U.N. think they are kidding? I think the U.N. should be relocated to Somalis! Maybe their perspective would improve!

Meaning prime land and prime beef will be reserved for them and their elite friends, while we eat bugs and live in huts. One good thing about this article...reminded me I need to head to Costco for some prime filets.

OK. So since this is allegedly the worst of the worst climate change our planet has ever experienced and it's never happened like this before, how do we know what to do to remedy it? How do we KNOW changes in land use or human diets are the answer? Couldn't the answer just as easily be to clip our toenails less frequently? Or stop getting our hair cut or change school attendance to only 2 days per week or ban TV viewing 5 days/ week or shut down all cell towers or or or or or.
These people are insane.

Time to eat crickets and sewer roaches. I read a story a few months ago extolling the virtues of "roach milk." I kid you not.
The elephant in the room is that at least in this country, we subsidize limitless births from nonproductive citizens and noncitizens. The productive, educated people opt for personal responsibility and only have as many kids as they can feed, clothe and educate but have to pay for those who do not share that philosophy. Phase out the free ride for out-of-wedlock births and you will see the trend towards a slowing of population growth and the destruction of farm land and animal habitats.

Now why would we want to let agricultural land return to the wilderness? What good would it do, then? God commanded us to "Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth." Earth was created for us to use, not to grow wild as a wilderness. How are we going to eat more plants if agricultural land is returned to the wild? It is illogical and does not compute.
IPCC reports are not written by scientists. The scientists are on the Panel and report their findings and recommendations, but the final reports are edited to fit the agendas of the bureaucrats in charge.

Excellent #15. I would like to add some factual information as well. Out of the entire atmospheric makeup, only one to two percent is made up of greenhouse gases with the majority being nitrogen (about 78 percent) and oxygen (about 21 percent). Of that two percent, “planet-killing” carbon dioxide comprises only 3.62 percent while water vapor encompasses 95 percent. And of the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, humans cause only 3.4 percent of annual CO2 emissions. The amount is so minuscule as to be negligible.
Furthermore, right now atmospheric air contains about 350 PPM (parts per million) of CO2. Even if we could significantly decrease the concentration, we should think twice. At around 200 PPM plants start to die and at 100PPM they are all dead. So, with humans making such a small overall contribution, we couldn't effect it enough to matter and if we could we would kill the plant life.

I forgot to add one thought. Why do you suppose they picked CO2? Because we all produce it when we breathe, it has to be our fault.

The threat of climate doomsayers asserting authority over our dinner tables is increasing. The efforts of these nuts to 'save the planet' will make food more scarce, more expensive, and less edible. They will not stop until they have restored us to our natural state, pre-civilization.
Then where will they get their gluten-free double-skinny soy chai latte non-gmo with a sustainable conflict-free swizzle?
They who inveigh to systematically drive everything off our plate will create the conditions where the only option left will be to eat the elite.
