The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency arrested 680 illegal aliens who had been working at seven Mississippi food processing plants, federal officials confirmed on Wednesday.
ICE agents conducted the largest single-state raid in United States history and the largest workplace raid in the last 11 years when they arrested 680 illegal aliens at seven food processing plants across six cities in Mississippi, including plants in Bay Springs, Carthage, Canton, Morton, Pelahatchie, and Sebastapol.
Not since 2008 — when about 595 illegal workers were arrested — has this many illegal aliens been arrested in a workplace raid by ICE.
Ah, the new slaves. Cheaper and no retirement obligations.
No wonder the Democrats like illegals.
They’ve always been the party of slavery.

So what are they going to do to the people who hired them. Start putting them in prison and this would stop.

We have always needed slaves because Americans are too expensive to hire thanks to the socialist laws of the last 100 years. These are the replacement blacks and the raids are part of the cost of doing business. It will continue as long as the "donors" want it to.

What will happen to the 680 illegal aliens? Under our weak immigration laws and even weaker federal judiciary, they won’t be immediately returned to their home countries. Instead, they will be given a future immigration court date in 24 to 36 months. What will these people do in the mean time? They do need food and shelter, and therefore an income. Will they be quietly rehired by the food processing plants. Will a percentage resort to robbery and drug sales? Since some will have families to feed, including children born here and who are thus citizens, unemployment is a nightmare. This problem is not new, and it’s not going to go away.
In addition, the food processing plants need workers, and with few Americans willing to do this type of work, how will the plants operate? And, what will happen to the prices we pay for chicken, turkey and all the other food stuffs packaged at these plants? Banning single use plastic bags at grocery stores won’t solve this dilemma.

Throw the employers in prison. There's no way they didn't know that they were hiring illegals.

One of these plants is less than 10 miles from my home...no where near a “border” crossing. This is a huge problem across America. Already the cry is out but what about the families....well you know what, they knew the risk when they came here illegally. Suffer the consequences. THEY put their families in this predicament. No more anchor babies...it’s not even a law for crying out loud!

Do you like chicken? Every step in the process, from egg to the plastic wrapped packages in your supermarket have been processed using illegal labor. These are the illegals that PDJT would love to assimilate into our workforce, if only he would be allowed to restrict the border in such a way as to allow immigrants who want to work, and had jobs waiting, could apply for work visas.
As it stands now, the various State Welfare agencies refuse to disclose who amongst their clients are illegals, so the Feds are left with raiding places of employment. This tactic will not reduce the criminal element amongst the illegal population, and provides fodder for the Left.

OK, now, the way this stops is for each employer to get a $1,000 PER DAY of employment fine for each of the illegals that were working there.
THAT will tighten up the screws on employers, make them look hard at these illegals.

#4 - "... food processing plants need workers, and with few Americans willing to do this type of work ..."
It annoys me to no end to hear this excuse offered to try to explain away the laziness of some Americans when the solution is so simple. Cut EBT, SNAP, etc benefits to able-bodied folk and when they get hungry enough, they will find it within themselves to get a job. We have more than enough lettuce picking, chicken plucking folk just sitting around waiting for the mailman to bring them their monthly handout. We don't need to import leagues of human detritus that have nothing to add to the greatness of the American society.

#11. is exactly right. Why would Americans work when they can get just about the same lifestyle for NOT WORKING, just "collecting welfare".
All those jobs that the illegals are taking should be filled by Americans who are now on welfare.
