The town hall, titled “America Under Assault: The Gun Crisis,” was hosted by Chris Cuomo and featured a number of guests who had been affected by mass shootings from Columbine to the present. Mr Cuomo thinks that the second amendment pertained to citizens being "ready to fight" in Washigton's army. Read it and be astonished at the logic of an idiot.

To understand what the 2nd amendment means, all you have to do is look at the history of gun ownership in the early years of the Republic. There was no ambiguity in those days. Anti-gunners are all twisted in knots over the 2nd, because of their ignorance of American history.

Hitler had his Brown Shirts, thugs who enforced diktat. Hitler had confiscated all guns, had Germany had the second amendment, things might have turned out differently. The Mayor of Portland has Antifa, thugs who enforce his Diktat. This is why we need the Second Amendment, government overreach, not for militia purposes. Gun confiscation is on the horizon, then socialism, make no mistake about it.

In 1776 - Printing presses printed one single page at a time. The Founding Fathers never imagined today's high speed AUTOMATIC presses shooting out hundreds of page a second. So, maybe it's time to 'update' the 1st Amendment.

There's a book out titled That Non-Violent Stuff'll Get You Killed which is about the role of guns in the Civil Rights Movement. There were a number of black folks who were armed and let it be known. They didn't go out starting something, but if racists (real ones back then) tried to hurt them or their family, they would defend themselves. And that is how it should be. If gangbangers and thugs knew that their potential victims had the means of defense, they would think twice.

Cuomo’s interpretation of the 2nd Amendment is completely false. It clearly states that ‘the people’ have the right to bear arms. It says nothing about anyone’s ‘army’. The Supreme Court, made up of people vastly smarter than him, have correctly ruled on this. There will always be murderers and other criminals in our midst. The hysterical blame game the liberals play is not going to change that.

A drunk, drugged out man broke into the condo of my niece and her partner in the night. They ran up to the roof screaming trying to fend him off. The man in the next condo heard them, jumped the wall to their roof and confronted the man with his gun! The police did not arrive until well after the fact. Both girls have now taken gun training and purchased their own weapons to protect their bodies! By the way, they are liberals.

The Second Amendment states in plain English, "shall not be infringed." What we do with our guns and how we organize in groups is not anybody's business as long as we are not shooting innocent people or destroying property, which is a whole other set of laws.We have already let the One Worlders and the hand-wringers get the Camel's nose under the tent in too many places. Let's see what the authors of the second amendment said while the amendment was up for ratification. Shouldn't we at least ask what they were thinking about when it was written? "I ask sir, what is the militia? It is the whole people. To disarm the people is the best and most effective way to enslave them."-George Mason co-author of the amendment, speaking at the Virginia convention to ratify the Constitution. How about we ask the anti-gun people if they know who wrote the 2A and why? They are too lazy to try to find out, or don't care. They just want things done their way. They just don't know what they are talking about.

When mass murderers commit heinous killings in public I don't watch the news anymore. The narrative is always the same. I can predict the news cycle for a week to come until the next 'crisis' happens. I was just tired of hearing about the 'concentration camps' at the southern border and homeless in California until this weekend murder spree happened. I know one thing it's not just my guns the socialist want to take away they want my freedoms. Next I drive an internal combustion engine car the left if in power will take that in the name of green peace and save the planet. I don't listen to their arguments because they are always going to be the same they win and they take our freedoms away. Communists are socialist in a hurry and they control people with the barrel of a their guns and gulags don't forget that when you make a choice at voting time.

A question I would appreciate someone asking these gun-grabbing idiots: ''If the framers and signatories of the Constitution believed there was some confusion over what the Second Amendment meant, that they didn't really mean for citizens to have the right to own firearms, don't you think they would have cleared that up right away? We, in America, have owned guns for over 200 years. There has been no confusion about it, except from a minority of people who would ignore the Constitution. There has been no change in the meaning of the words, just re-interpretation by anti gun proponents.''

To add to Ms. Inacker's comment and linking her right to defend her body, that same law also granted "a right to privacy" to obtain that link. As such, are these people who are releasing information violating a person's right to privacy? I realize they think this is public information, but who determined such information should be public, and for what purpose, to shame them as is now being done, or to harass them, as is also being done?

Your making a big mistake if you think that the problem is just that the progressive fascists are misinformed. The leaders of their movement know what the 2nd amendment means, their lying because it stands in the way of the fundamental transformation they are working to inflict on the USA. They want to turn our country into their Marxist utopia. A utopia where they rule a one party state and thru it control every aspect of society without the constraints of our constitution or liberty. This utopia is identical in every significant respect to the utopias created by the Nazis, Marxists and Muslims and just as evil.

Cuomo’s ignorance of the real reasons for the 2nd Amendment is only surpassed by his liberal “I know what’s best for you” smugness. One good thing resulting from Trump’s confrontation of the liberals, deep staters and media is their hatred for him is forcing them to reveal their true selves: power hungry, controlling wannabe elitists who believe the rights guaranteed by the Constitution are only meant for them and not the unwashed, deplorable masses. But they lack one critical trait - the recognition that their anti-gun and other rhetoric ultimately will cause violent pushback from those whom they wish to control. Heaven help all of us when we reach that point.

Here are a few things I know firsthand about being in jail. First and foremost, you have virtually no control over your life and surroundings. You can’t get so much as an aspirin without authorization. In most jails, you can’t wear a belt, or shoelaces, or keep a razor in your cell. You have no privacy, no sense of dignity, and no rights. And in a well-run jail, high-profile prisoners have virtually no chance of killing themselves. So the alleged suicide of Jeffrey Epstein, the 66-year-old financier with powerful American and foreign friends who was about to stand trial for allegedly sexually abusing dozens of girls, many of them underage,
