Democrats want to come for your guns and they aren’t hiding it anymore. Former Vice President Joe Biden said as much on CNN Monday with Anderson Cooper.Discussing his support for a national buyback program of “assault weapons,” the Democratic presidential candidate said that if elected, he is “going to come” for them. “So to gun owners out there who say well, a Biden administration means they’re going to come for my guns,” Cooper said to Biden, who interjected: “Bingo. You’re right if you have an assault weapon.” “The fact of the matter is they should be illegal, period,” he added.

This is scary. He is leading in the polls if you believe in polls.
Democrats are going to raise their voter fraud game way up this time. They believed the polls in 2016. They got caught with their pants down. That won’t happen again.
You don’t believe a schmuck like this could get elected ?? Remember who was president before Donald Trump.
I rest my case.

I think social media is the modern assault weapon of media. Maybe we should go back to having only broad sheets for news and opinion. What do you say, Sleepy Joe? Lets gin up some legislation to restrict social media!

The fact of the matter, joe, is the gov is prohibited from any decisions wrt our weapons. Period. And that includes artillery and other crew served weapons as well as automatic weapons. For the snowflakes who bought into the whole 'reasonable restrictions' BS, I suggest you move to another nation where you can be a subject. You don't have the balls to be a free citizen, and don't deserve the freedom.

I would be very interested to see the data regarding gun buyback programs and crime reduction.
I do recall a handgun buyback program in Baltimore back in the 60's-70's. As i recall members of the Baltimore City Police purchase large amounts of cheap handguns out of state and "turned them in" in Baltimore for a tidy profit.

This 'proposal' goes to the heart of the Second Amendment. When the Amendment says 'arms' it does not mean flame throwers. What then does it mean? When it was enacted there was no such thing as automatic repeating hand guns. But when they were introduced they were readily included. Arms as meant by the Second Amendment has always meant firearms generally used by the populations for legitimate purpose - which is hunting, self defense, recreation etc. A flame thrower does not fit that description but what the Democrats call assault weapons do. That is common sense. But the purpose of the Rat/Socialists is to ultimately disarm law abiding citizens. Again, go vote. It is your only defense.

Wasn't Biden the one who told us to all get shotguns? A shotgun at close range is much more devastating than a bullet. Show us how it's really done, Joe!

I forgot to add this to my earlier post about Baltimore gun buyback projrct in the 70's:
"On
In 1974, Baltimore police paid residents US$50 per firearm, collecting roughly 13,500 over a two-month period. Rather than reduce crime, homicides and assaults spiked during the buyback"
Go figure

"Assault weapons" are already illegal you stupid old fart. Attempting to "come for" weapons on a mass scale is going to result in a lot of dead people for no useful purpose. The Second Amendment was added by people much smarter than Joe Biden for reasons he will never understand. My local Sheriff has stated that if the feds try to confiscate our weapons he will be on the side of the people. The democrats campaigning for gun control will not follow through. King Obola started down that road and quickly realized that it's a losing battle. Americans have not been free for over two hundred years because we are a bunch of pushover wimps. Come 'n get 'em Joe.

Not likely.
For a CLEAR explanation of what would have to happen WITHOUT using DICTATORIAL power, take a look at this 2-minute vid on what it would REALLY take to disarm the American people:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bnoFKskvSq4
It is sobering and funny pointing out the ABSURDITY of making glib statements like this to get campaign material!
Enjoy and try not to laugh too hard at the quick and sobering 2-minute vid....

The most dangerous lifeform on earth is the human. As an individual a human can and some will inflict horrific violence on their fellow humans. This is tragic and has always been a problem for humans, we should strive to do what we can to stop it with the goal of minimizing human suffering. We just saw how casualties can reach the double digits. I believe that the bar has been set at 59 in modern history. The most destructive force known to humankind is collective human violence sanctioned by totalitarian government, led by someone determined to rule over their fellow humans. That bar is well over 100,000,000 for the 20th century manifestation which is only the tip of the iceberg throughout the entire historical record.
The only force to have stopped that grand scale carnage has been the collective effort of a people to join together and create a government designed to defend against the would be rulers by protecting individual unalienable rights, among them the right to defend ourselves. To surrender that right even if all individual murder sprees could be prevented is to open the door to the next Stalin, Hitler, or Genghis Khan. Furthermore every proposal to attempt to do just that will have the opposite effect, by disarming the law-abiding and doing nothing to the lawbreakers.
Would you stop wearing your seatbelt if once you pinched yourself in the buckle?
I can only conclude that Biden and his ilk are competing to see who can be the next despot.

Another democrat that doesn't know what a real 'assault' weapon is. All scary looking weapons are assault weapons to liberals, and all weapons are scary looking to them.

Hey Creepy, there are between 15 and 20 million of these rifles in private hands, our most popular sporting rifle. Even if you got the supreme court to agree with your confiscation plan, you would be instigation a civil war.

The last time Biden and the liberal Democrats set out to ban guns, they lost their majorities in Congress for over a decade. That’s a big reason that Obama ignored gun control. Clearly Biden has a short memory!

#13, actually, flame throwers would fit the definition. From Webster's 1828 dictionary: Arms. 1. Weapons of offense, or armor for defense and protection of the body.
I submit a flame thrower would be an offensive weapon.
IOW, pretty much whatever you want to use, which is always the case in combat, anyway.
