Robert Mueller’s less-than-stellar performance last week before the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees seems to have left just about everybody trying to explain it. Descriptions on both the left and the right sides of the aisle included words like “ineffective,” “confused,” “struggling,” and “frail.”
A consensus soon formed perhaps best summarized by a tweet from radio talk-show personality Mark Levin:
“As I said when Mueller gave [his] speech in May, he is feeble. I say that not as a personal attack but as a rational observation

Sly as a fox. He consistently avoided answering ALL questions about the Steele dossier, Fusion GPS, Simpson, or anything Hillary-connected.
Dementia or even aging doesn't work like that. You can't choose when or about which topics you'll be lucid. You can't consistently answer ONLY the questions you want to answer and miraculously shield yourself from the rest.

Disagree. He could be both. It doesn't have to be black and white but a combination. I doubt Mueller is such a good actor that he could fake his body language, which showed him as having a shocking decline in mental faculties. Although perhaps he was given medication that would enhance his look of being totally out of it. Nevertheless, he is vulnerable for a good accounting in this and past activities.

This man went to the Christine Blasey Ford school of acting. Better to come off as a doddering old fool than a devious partisan swamp assassin.

Drug test him.. hair follicle. There are training sessions for interrogations-
I do not trust one thing out of Mueller . Period.
I have zero sympathy if he was a pawn, and out right anger at purposely abusing my country’s money and time.

Mueller now has the perfect way out of a hoax from which he fabricated a roadmap to impeachment for the Uniparty. They got cold feet, and the truth seeps out...time to go!

Interesting take - Robert Mueller; a real life Uncle Leo. "Please Jerry, I'm a senior citizen. Everybody does it , I'm an old man! Will somebody please help me home!"

Much like Barack Obama did. First he was stupid then he was devious then he was just a good muslim. I've come back around to stupid but greedy and lazy.

FTA, "It is quite possible Mueller was intentionally constructing a new public image in an attempt to shield himself from being indicted for his participation in possible criminal conduct he knows is currently being investigated by the Department of Justice."
Money quote. It's what I said from the get-go. Faker.

Would a man intentionally trash his Deep State reputation and legacy to be remembered as a doddering, forgetful, semi-senile old fool in order to protect Obama, Hillary, Weissmann, et. al? Because that is how he will forever be remembered, on both sides of the aisle, whatever else happens,
I don't think so.

As soon as the hearings took place I said that he had been coached in the evasive, no-nothing direction. It's what worked for Obama for eight years.

Meetings with the democrats, prior to this "hearing?", was a dress rehearsal for his finale.

Either way he deserves ridicule. If he is too old and feeble he should not have been in the job. Shame on him!

Meanwhile, I pray for the safety of Mr Durham.
