Former Trump adviser George Papadopoulos told Fox News' Maria Bartiromo in an exclusive interview that he is heading back to Greece to retrieve $10,000 that he suspects was dropped in his lap as part of an entrapment scheme by the CIA or FBI -- and federal investigators want to see the marked bills, which he said are now stored in a safe. Papadopoulos said on "Sunday Morning Futures" he was "very happy" to see Devin Nunes, R-Calif., grill former Special Counsel Robert Mueller about the summer 2017 payment during last week's hearings -- even though Mueller maintained, without explanation, that the matter was outside the scope of his investigation.

OK, so he goes to Greece, gets the cash and brings it back....does the FBI then arrest him at the airport and confiscate it?
Or, if that doesn't happen, then who checks out the money for markings and traces it's origin? Certainly the FBI can't be trusted to do this. Give them the money and there will be a tragic fire in the evidence storage room, no doubt. And 'preliminary testing' will be reported to have shown that there was no markings on the bills.
At this point, I don't trust the FBI to get anywhere NEAR this investigation. They are neck deep in this and have huge reasons to lose, destroy, mishandle and modify evidence.

I hope Papadopoulos has armed guards whom he can trust along with him. A key person in the new investigation of the investigators, traveling abroad, transporting cash. Marked bills. Evidence. Oy.

I hope others read the entire article, to which Maria Bartiromo herself contributed. There is a lot of information here, and it is not just about that cash. It is almost like Papadopoulos is taunting those who set him up. His language is pointed, very bold...
There is no mention that he will take the bills to the FBI. The article says simply “federal investigators”. I imagine this is something Durham is interested in...

AFAIK, #4, all investigative work to support federal attornies like Durham is done by the local FBI office. Is there some other 'federal investigators' that are out there somewhere that I am not aware of? And even if Durham is a 100% good guy, can he totally trust the FBI agents which (I believe) do his actual field work? And what crime lab will handle the study of the bills? AFAIK, all this stuff at the federal level is run by the FBI, and their evidence lab. Please inform me if I am wrong on this, but I just don't know of any other federal investigative officers.
Perhaps they could bring in Army or Navy (NCIS) folks to do it.

I read the whole article, and still - SOMEONE that we trust must do the actual forensic work and story the money. If that is the FBI (an I know of no other agencies who are legally tasked for this sort of work) I will be worried. I hope that I am just unaware of some other source of this sort of work.

Something as simple as swapping out the bills for different bills would be easy for whatever investigative agency has control of that money, and could totally erase whatever links back to the FBI, CIA or whoever got them and (perhaps) marked them. How far does the reach of the Deep State go in erasing inconvenient evidence....like Seth Rich?

Call me crazy but I don’t think I’d tell the whole world I was headed outside the US to pick up possible evidence against powerful agencies. And, I’d bring witnesses. Bodyguard witnesses.

I have discovered a new and high regard for Mr. Papadopoulos in the last 6 months. For many months, he said very little. I now get it that he was under a investigatory cloud, and had to be very guarded. Now, he is telling it all. He is a young man to have correctly suspicioned that he was being set up, and leaving the $10K in Greece, leaving the FBI with their pants down. Accolades to Mr. Papadopoulos for doing it!

Can the markings be altered? Bleached? Wiped with a cloth?
Let's check with Hillary. She knows how to do things like this.

The marked bills could have serial numbers that have a particular pattern.
My advice to George is...trust no one, don't eat or drink anything, don't drive yourself anywhere. Travel in a group...and by all means enjoy your mini vacation to beautiful Greece.

Photograph each bill to record serial numbers, and have the Greek attny retain half of them, and send the
other half back to be investigated.

I wouldn't be picking up any FBI/CIA honey pot cash stored anywhere without having 50 witnesses with me.

Now I wonder if the CIA has already broken into the safe and replaced the marked money as a cover-up. It wouldn't surprise me since it's right up their corrupt alley.
