House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler pushed to launch impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump during a closed-door meeting Wednesday, only to be rebuffed by Speaker Nancy Pelosi, according to four sources familiar with the discussions.
At a caucus meeting following the hotly anticipated testimony of special counsel Robert Mueller, Nadler suggested that several House committee chairs could begin drafting articles of impeachment against Trump. Pelosi called the idea premature, said the sources.

They can spin this all they like. The truth is that that doddering fool’s testimony was of no interest to anyone and brought nothing new to the table. And no Nadler, voters are not going to rush to their laptop to read this stupid report. So zip it.

Go, Dims, go for impeachment proceedings. Show the American public how stupid and clownish you are, as we enter into the 2020 election cycle.
This will look even more RIDICULOUS when the DoJ IG report comes out -- showing who the real criminals were/are in the Russian election meddling hoax.

There is a 0% chance that they will impeach prior to the election. There is a 100% chance that they will talk about impeachment everyday up to the election. The bad news is that if Trump is reelected and the dems keep the house, there is a 100% chance of impeachment during the 1st quarter of 2021.

I think the clock is going to run out on the Democrats. They are so busy trying to Impeach Trump that they have forgotten they will need prove they actually accomplished something since Pelosi took over the House. All of a sudden, Republicans running for those House seats they lost last time around will have a list of Democrat Accomplishments for show and tell. They can drop a long role of paper with NOTHING on it! Democrats are fools if they don't drop the Impeachment ideas and start to actually get things passed for the voters who put them in office!

I want to see what they plan to use as impeachable offenses. The investigation was not hampered by POTUS. There was no collusion, which is not a crime anyhow. Cue the circus music.

Forgive my ignorance here. A former European I don't quite understand what this impeachment nonsense is all about? Because the President has a booming economy, the United States is respected once again, he does not draw lines in the sand like some stuttering punk from Chicago, etc..... ??? Is it because a big rumped dem dame called Hitlery lost? Why is she not investigated for all her shenanigans in the Russian collusion and her enrichment of the Uranium deal that in my book is illegal??
These people were elected to do a job not run rings around the President because they 'feel' he needs to be impeached and they need to demonstrate their ignorance on a daily basis !! I have a long list of dems that need to be impeached, I wonder if I have any luck sending the list to Nadler or Pelosi. Ooops, they are on the top , they might not even want to read the rest!!

As antithetical as it might seem …
Nadler v Pelosi is Bambi v Godzilla.
Jerry, meet your lobbyists at the Capital Grille. You're going to have to eat your way out of this one.

As much as I loathe her, this ability of her's to sometimes see the bigger picture, vs agenda driven actions that harm democrats, is why I am kind of glad she is Speaker, not somebody like Nadler. The democrats are devouring themselves thanks to all the personal agendas of her members, and I could not be happier. The more she rebuffs, the harder they push. She has lost the plot somewhat, and that is allowing the Squats and Nadler and company to run amok.

#10 and all our other foreign commenters should go to The Last Refuge website, aka Conservative Tree House for some great explanations. Sundance goes in depth and explains many things about what is going on right now, and what was going on during the 2016 election cycle. I can't post link information, but Drudge Report would have a link to their site, and plenty of commenters post articles to the Tree House site as well. Just hit original article link, then bookmark the site.
sorry for the second comment, but I imagine that many of our visitors are confused about a lot of our politics at the moment.

They just don't get it. No evidence, no impeachment. Numb sculls.
I bet Maxine is going a little nuttier than usual.
